I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have always considered pets to be part of the family. After moving out on my own, I adopted my first pet and have continued growing my furry (and finned!) family. Today, I care for two cats, one dog, and a small aquarium. Over the years, I've provided pet sitting and care for family members' pets throughout all stages of life. My experience includes caring for healthy, active pets as well as senior dogs and dogs with special needs, including seizure disorders. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and providing individualized care to help every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply sticking to their regular routine, I'll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own pets.

In my home I spend a lot of time talking and cuddling with my pets. They also get hyper at times and I play along with them with their toys or just with my hands. When dogsitting my family's animals it would depend on the animal. Some of the dogs were elderly so they would not want to walk very much and just would require some love and affection. Others were very hyper and I would play with them and walk them outside when it wasn't too hot.

Merissa is great with my senior dogs! One of my dogs injured himself and is on bedrest. She made herself available for a phone call so that I could update her on his status and she been very flexible to accommodate our new needs.
Merissa is reliable and responsive to my messages. She is a huge help and great with my senior dogs. They always look so happy with her!
Merissa cmes over to walk my two senior dogs and she has been a great help. We also have two cats in the house and she is very kind with all of the animals and mindful to make sure the cats don't escape. My boys always look so happy in the pics she sends. I am very pleased with her service and recommend her.

Schedule
My own pets are like family to me and I spend time with them each day. Besides feeding them and basic care I spend time playing with them, cuddling with them and giving them all the attention they deserve. My work schedule is flexible and I am able to change my work times to fit the needs of my pets.
