“If I could give Irene more than 5 stars, I would! She is hands down the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. From the moment she met our pup, we knew she was something special. She’s kind, attentive, responsible, and truly treats our dog like her own. We got regular updates, adorable photos, and could tell our Gigi was happy, relaxed, and so well cared for. It’s not easy to leave your pet with someone, but with her, we had complete peace of mind.”

“Bennie and Jennie did another wonderful job taking care of Freddie . He is happy to see me when I get home but a bit mopey because he misses them . He enjoys their care and attention. He was fed brushed and played with all the things he needs to keep my baby healthy and safe . I can’t say enough about how comfortable and secure I feel knowing they are in my house taking care of Freddie . They are respectful trust worthy and leave my house cleaner than when I left without my having to ask. It’s such a relief knowing I can plan a trip and if they are available I don’t have to worry about anything at home. Highly recommend these sweet caretakers if you need a babysitter .”

About: We both grew up with dogs and have always loved having them around. We’re an active couple who genuinely enjoys walking and taking care of pups—we treat every dog like they’re part of the family. We don’t have one of our own just yet, but we definitely plan to once we’ve got the right space. In the meantime, we love spending time with dogs of all ages, from high-energy puppies to mellow seniors. We’re experienced, caring, and always make sure each dog feels safe, loved, and well looked after. Pet care fits easily into our routine! I work fully remote from home, and Sam is a teacher with summers off. Our flexible schedules mean one or both of us is almost always available to give your pup the attention and care they deserve. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, we’re reliable and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs. Whether we’re in your home or ours, your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are our top priorities. We follow all your care instructions closely and make sure they feel secure and loved. During walks or sitting, we stay attentive, keep pets on leash in safe, familiar areas, and always meet them at their energy and comfort level. Building trust with your pet—and with you—is at the core of how we care for every animal.

“This was our first time using Rover.com and we were reluctant to reach out to a stranger to stay in our home with our dog. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. We are so happy to have found Michelle. She is wonderful with our dog and he loves her, and we were very comfortable having her stay in our home. I highly recommend Michelle for pet and house sitting.”

About: Hey there- I'm Adam. I've had the absolute pleasure of living with and taking care of pets for the last several years in LA and OC. Most recently, my experience has included dog sitting an adorable 80lb Instagram celebrity pooch (ask me about it!) during his owner's vacations abroad. What sets me apart is my attention to the highest quality care and ensuring owners feel at ease while away from their pets. I do this through proactive communication, paying close attention to detail and being somebody you can rely on. My job is to not only make your pet feel comfortable, but also their owner! I'd love to get the chance to help you however I can. I work a full-time day job as a Senior Marketing Manager in Irvine from 9am-6pm. My open windows during weekdays generally range from 7-8:30am, 12:00-1:00pm or 7:00-9:00pm. My schedule is more flexible on the weekends when I'm in town. I bring a warm, fun and friendly attitude around pets that I take care of. At the same time, knowing that every pet has their own unique personality, I make sure to respect their needs and moods- whether they're introverted and like to keep to themselves, more playful/ energetic or just need some pets and cuddles! I'm also comfortable with individual needs (e.g. particular diets, medications needed, types of physical activity needed, etc.). All I ask is for full transparency by the owner of any needs I should be aware of to make sure your pet is given the best care possible :)

About: I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, everything from dogs and bunnies to hamsters and guinea pigs! I grew up with three dogs who have since passed, and now my family has three new pups that I help care for. We used to foster both puppies and senior dogs, so I have experience with housetraining, giving medication, and supporting pets with mobility or age-related issues. One of our current dogs has only three working legs and often experiences pain, so I’m comfortable administering medication and providing gentle, attentive care. Whenever I babysit for families with pets, I always make sure they’re walked, let out for potty breaks, and given plenty of love and attention. I truly treat every pet like part of the family! I’m a student at UT Austin and my schedule is super flexible! I’m currently home for the summer and I am free almost all day to watch and sit your pups! At my home we have a two story house and enough room for the dogs to run around and play! I have a front yard and I am very close proximity to the beach! As well as 5 minutes away from a large park!

About: Friendly, fun adventures & walks Fenced brick wall - no escaping Everything under one "woof!" ❣️🐕🐾 I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, small, medium, and special breeds. I love all dogs.💗 I want to help others by spending time with their dogs. I am so excited to meet your furry friends!☺️ My schedule is open. I now work from my own residence. It’s very important to me that each dog feels happy, loved, & at home. Also, your beloved pet will be in a healthy, clean environment. Most dogs are apprehensive when coming to a new place so I try to make them feel loved & comfortable so they won’t be afraid.

About: I am a Coast Guard veteran and retired Corporate Recruiter, my husband and I are empty nesters, and I am available for pet care during the summer. We love all animals and miss having dogs in our lives. My schedule is very flexible for drop in care, walks, or sleepovers. I can also pick up and deliver pets to appointments or to pet care facilities. Since I am local I can pop in or have your baby visit at my home during walks. Lots of exercise or relaxing and cuddling…whatever you would like for your pet. If doing an over-night I start between 4-6PM and will stay until 6-8AM and will provide exercise walks at no extra charge. After meeting and caring for your pet I can also do what I call RLC (Running Late Care) if you happen to be out and about or are having a great time and want to stay out longer, just call me and if I’m available I can drop in for a walk/feeding. I’ve been a pet parent for over 30 years for dogs, cats, hamsters, a lizard, and fish. I have experience with raising puppies and also caring for 3 senior dogs at a time. Being petless at the moment I hope to care and love on your fur babies while you are away! Since I am retired my days are very flexible. I don't have any regularly scheduled appointments and arrange for my activities between pet care bookings. While your pet is at my home we can go on walks, head to the nearby dog park, or nap in the sun on my large fenced in patio. Cuddling is also on the schedule inside where it's cool. If your baby cannot be left alone, between myself and my husband, someone will always be home with them. I do volunteer work, craft projects, read, and do computer projects remotely so can stay with your fur baby at your home. I live locally and my retired husband is also available as a back up or in case or emergencies. For doggie day care our home is pet proofed, no toxic plants or other animals. When home sitting at your place, I bring an air mattress and my own bedding, you won't even know I was there!

“I could not recommend Monica enough. I don’t even want to review because I’d love to keep her for myself! She is my go to for pet sitting. Maddie was FANTASTIC!!! She tool such GREAT care of our two dogs!!💞💗💕 She loved them just as much as we do!! She walked the dogs 3-4 times a day. She sent us pictures and videos everyday!! We will hire Maddie again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Maddie to anyone who wants their dogs loved while they are away! It was the longest we have ever been away from our dogs, so it was so nice to have them being treated so great!!

Frances is a great seater, not only with my dog, but also caring for my home. Will definitely will hire her again.

Quinn has gone above and beyond in taking care of Austin. She improvised every step of the way with his meals and extremely kind and careful about his daily needs. I highly recommend her and very thankful she was available to take care of Austin 🙏

Quick note: Book Trevor. He took such good care of Bruno and our home. Longer note: This was our first time having a stranger stay at our house and take care of our dog. We were in a bind and needed last-minute help. After reading a couple of Trevor’s reviews, we reached out and he responded right away saying he was available to help and could swing by to meet Bruno in advance. When Trevor stopped by, we immediately felt comfortable with him being in our home and Bruno did too. Bruno is super sweet, but has been through some rough times. He is an older chihuahua with scars all over his body. He has major abandonment anxiety so we don’t like to leave him alone for more than 2 hours. So, he has some unique needs for a sitter. Trevor not only arranged his life around Bruno’s 2 hour window (on a weekend, no less), but he also took Bruno for a walk to the local coffee shop to get him out of the house for a bit. Bruno liked him so much, he became Trevor’s lapdog while he was here. If you feel uneasy about having a stranger in your home, and you have a dog with unique needs… Trevor is a solid partner for you.

Vanessa is fantastic and so easy to work with. Our dog Fisher adores her, and it's evident from the photos Vanessa always provides that the feeling is mutual. Thanks for taking such good care of our pup!

Ryley takes great care of our dog! She is responsive, communicates well, and keeps not just our dog, but our home in safe hands.

Kaelin was great! Very responsible and easy to communicate with. She took care of our home and senior dog over a long weekend. We returned to find a happy pup and tidy house. Would definitely have Kaelin back!

This was our first time using Rover.com and we were reluctant to reach out to a stranger to stay in our home with our dog. It turned out to be the best decision we could have made. We are so happy to have found Michelle. She is wonderful with our dog and he loves her, and we were very comfortable having her stay in our home. I highly recommend Michelle for pet and house sitting.

Erin has watched my dog twice now and is always very communicative and goes the extra mile to make my shy girl feel comfortable.

Allison was absolutely wonderful! She took care of my two fur babies while I was out of the country and kept me updated continuously throughout my trip!

Nicole is fantastic! The dogs love her. She spends time with them and has taken them for walks. We always want her to check in on them when we are gone for a day.

Alexandria is awesome and is so fun with Ginger! Does a great job playing with her and is very quick to respond!!!! Totally would have her back anytime she’s free!

This was our first time using Rover. Samantha took great care of our furry loved one! They went on walks and she sent pics and texts to update me everyday. I would 100% recommend her and would use her again! Thank you Samantha!

Kayla was great! I met with her less than a week before my trip because I had had 2 rover sitters cancel on me, so I was a little apprehensive. My dogs loved her right away. She put me immediately at ease and agreed to take the job. She sent me updates on my pups, and when I got home they seemed happy and like they had been well taken care of. The house looked great, and it was just how I left it. Thanks so much Kayla! We hope to see you again! Maggie and Zac miss you!
