About: I bring nearly 10 years of experience caring for homes and pets, from tiny Chihuahuas to gentle Bernese Mountain Dogs. I’m skilled in puppy training, senior pet care, and understanding each animal’s unique needs. As a Mindset & Mental Health coach, I naturally bring patience, calm, and strong intuition, ensuring pets feel safe and loved. Known for my reliability, warmth, and attention to detail, I give homeowners complete peace of mind while they’re away. I work fully remote as a Mindset & Mental Health coach, which gives me a flexible daily and weekly routine. This allows me to dedicate plenty of focused time to your pets—feeding, walking, playtime, and companionship—while also keeping your home tidy and well cared for. My remote work schedule ensures I’m consistently present, attentive, and available to respond to any needs as they arise. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and loving environment for every pet I care for. I prefer to sit at clients’ homes, keeping pets in the comfort of their familiar surroundings and routines. I care for them just as if they were my own—providing companionship, attention, and affection while ensuring their space is clean, secure, and stress-free. My goal is for both pets and homeowners to feel completely at ease while I’m caring for them.
About: I’m Caroline, a 30-year-old dog lover with nearly two decades of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I aim to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I’m patient, dependable, and detail-oriented, and I adapt easily to each dog’s individual needs. Whether your dog has a simple routine or a more involved one—including exercise, feeding, medications, or other specialized care—I’m happy to follow all instructions exactly as provided. I’m comfortable with walks, exercise, brushing, feeding, cleaning up after pets, reinforcing basic training, and caring for dogs who need extra attention or structure. I understand how much trust it takes to leave both your dog and your home in someone else’s care, and I take that responsibility seriously. Your dog’s well-being is always my top priority. Pet care fits well into my schedule. I currently have a flexible routine and will be starting a graduate program this fall in Counseling Psychology that meets three consecutive days per month. I expect to be able to comfortably balance my studies and pet care within my schedule. I provide care in client homes and follow all instructions carefully to maintain each pet’s normal routine. I pay close attention to feeding, exercise, medications, and any special care requirements to ensure consistency and comfort for the pet. I also treat every home with respect, keeping things clean and tidy during and after each visit.
“Kelsy was fantastic! We had to take some time off from our pup of 9 months, 3 year old and our friends 6 year old dogs to just get some dinner and had Kelsy sit all 3. She was more than willing and called it a Pawty! And the dogs had a blast. All 3 of our dogs are different people and personalities and she was able to handle all of them really well and oh btw, they aint small either at 100, 60 and 60 lbs each. She was fantastic to communicate and connect with and we would love to have her sit the pups and the bigs when we travel to Laguna! Cant recommend highly enough! Thank you Kelsy!”

“Eva R. is the gold standard of house and pet sitters! I just returned from a 9-day vacation and couldn't be happier with the exceptional care Eva provided for both my home and my Boston Bulldog, Falcon. From our very first interaction, Eva was incredibly professional, highly communicative, and deeply attentive to Falcon’s and my specific routines and quirks. Throughout the 9 days, I received regular updates and beautiful photos that immediately put my mind at ease and allowed me to truly relax on my trip. It was completely obvious that Eva wasn't just doing a job, but truly bonding with Falcon as a genuine companion. When I got home, Falcon was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. To top it off, the house was absolutely immaculate. Finding someone you can trust implicitly with your pet and your home is rare. Eva is reliable, trustworthy, and an absolute joy to work with. I give her my highest possible recommendation and will absolutely be booking her again for future trips! Choose Eva for her kind spirit and genuine reliability.”

“Gina was great, can't recommend her enough! It's always a little stressful having a new sitter stay with George but she was excellent. We received nightly updates with lots of pictures and she followed all of our instructions. We returned to a clean house and happy dog. Thank you so much!”

About: Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m based right in CDM steps from Crystal Cove, and I absolutely love what I do. My days are spent walking the coast, hiking the trails, and giving dogs the kind of attention and care that actually makes a difference. It’s genuinely my favorite part of my day. I’ve had dogs of my own for 15+ years and have experience with a wide range of breeds I can read body language, understand what a dog needs in the moment, and adjust on the fly. I have a special love for working breeds and high-energy dogs who actually want to do something on a walk. I work from home running a wellness business, so your dog gets real time and presence not someone rushing between jobs. Walks with me mean actual coastal adventures: Crystal Cove trails, Little Corona Beach, tide pool paths with ocean views. I’m an early riser, I keep a consistent schedule, and I pay attention to how your dog is feeling that day. My home is calm, clean, and non-toxic that’s just how I live. Good energy, no chaos, and plenty of cozy spots to decompress between adventures. You’ll get photos and updates so you always know they’re happy and well. I keep my roster small because I actually want to know your dog their quirks, their favorite spots, what makes them light up. Whether you need a reliable daily walker or someone to love on them while you travel, I’d love to meet them! 🐾 Working from home in my fitness & nutrition business means pets get constant attention and care. It's a daily dose of exercise and joy that complements my healthy lifestyle. Walks, fetch, or just quiet moments, pets make my day and yours brighter! When it comes to pet care, it's all about their turf. I'm a firm believer in maintaining their routine at home, where they're comfy and happy. I seamlessly fit into their schedule, whether it's mealtime, playtime, or cuddle time. Rest assured, your pet's happiness and well-being are my top priorities!

I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as those with vision and hearing impairment. I also volunteer my communication services to animal rescues to help dogs exhibiting puzzling behavior be heard. In addition I work as an animal transporter for several rescues, so I guess you could say I’m a professional canine chauffeur! I have experience working with a wide range of ages and breeds. So be it a pittie puppy, a middle aged pug, or a senior chihuahua, I am comfortable with them all and will ensure your pup feels safe, happy, and secure while you are away. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible which allows me to accommodate your pup’s unique schedule and playtime needs. Whether they are an early bird or a night owl, I’ve got you covered! When caring for your fur baby in the comfort of their own home, I acknowledge that I am the new comer coming into their space. I always take it slow and allow the animal to share what they wish to with me, just as you would with a young child. This establishes a foundation of trust that we can build upon.

“Grace was absolutely amazing! She took such good care of our French and English bull dog Brutus & June. She was so kind and loving toward them. She treated are babies as if they were her own. She was very attentive to detail. She had great communication with us and sent us great pictures. She went above and beyond. We have used many dog sitters over the years and I can say with utmost confidence she is the best experience me and my wife have had. Thank you Grace”
“Kirk was amazing with our dog Baxter. He stayed at our place and was very communicative about how Baxter was doing. He took Baxter out for all his favorite walks and made sure Baxter was feeling loved. He left our place spotless when he left and we could tell Baxter was happy. We will use Kirk again and again. He is great.”

About: For the past three years, I've been caring full-time for my sister's cat, and part-time for her dog (Cocker Spaniel). But now my sister has moved somewhere new where she can have both pets, and as the cat and dog breeds I would most want to own are prohibitively expensive, I'd love the opportunity to care for yours. I also looked after my sister's dog while she was undergoing cancer treatment as a puppy. Those experiences taught me the importance of following care instructions closely, paying attention to changes in behavior, and providing patient, compassionate care. I have a B.A. in Psychology from USC, where I developed strong research skills, so I'm someone who enjoys learning about best practices to provide thoughtful care. As a preschool teacher, I've also learned that everyone is unique, and I always respect each family's routines and preferences. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. My family has also had bad experiences with house/pet sitters with our Yorkshire Terriers in the past so I am very sensitive to what it's like on the other side of things. It's also important me that you know that I will never hit or spank your animal. Not only am I uncomfortable with corporal punishment but I truly believe it is not only ineffective but harmful. I'm currently working part-time as a preschool teacher while I'm trying to transition to working into HR. I work from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm M, Tu, F near the UCI campus. W, Th, I am only busy for ~3 hours. I usually come straight home after work and Doordash dinner. I usually wake up at 7am and am asleep by 11-pm, but I am a light sleeper so if a pet starts to cry or stirs I will most likely hear it and be able to help with whatever caused them to wake up. I know that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so my priority is to provide care that feels familiar and comfortable for them. I'll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any household routines you'd like me to maintain. I believe in giving pets plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment while also respecting their boundaries and comfort level. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away. I also promise not to judge. I have dog-sat for one dog that would only eat if hand fed, and another dog that would only respond when you used a baby-voice, and another that only listens to commands in Spanish haha.
“I am so happy that I chose Danna to watch my sweet Bailey boy. He has separation anxiety and I always feel so bad leaving him. Danna sent me updates frequently, lots of pictures, and put my mind at ease seeing that Bailey was in good hands. Will definitely be booking with her again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Corona del Mar
Roxanne and Eduardo take such good care of our older golden! We have used them several times and highly recommend them. We were particularly thankful for the good care this weekend as we were away at our son‘s wedding. It was so nice to have a reliable pet sitter!

Alyssa took wonderful care of my two pups, with periodic updates on their walks, meals and how their day went. Lots of photos too, which put me at ease. She was easy to communicate with, and she set up a meet and greet so the pups could get to know her prior to the sit.

Valerie is AMAZING! She provided great care for our sweet pup while we were out of town. So much so that we’ve already booked her again twice! She stayed in our home and took great care of the house, too. She sent lots of photos of our pup and our dog was so happy when we got home. Highly recommend!

Camden is absolutely terrific and I can not express enough thanks for the phenomenal care she provided while I was away. She house sat at my place for 9 days with Rowan while I was on a cruise. This was my first time I had been away that long so was nervous and not only that but Rowan had come down with pancreatitis the week I was leaving but was a few days on his medication and was almost fully better. Two days into my trip; however, Rowan’s health turned downward out of nowhere and he got extremely sick. He went from eating, drinking, being his playful normal self to not even wanting to move. Camden coordinated with Rowan’s primary vet as well as myself to provide him the urgent care he needed to get him better. She went above and beyond and I am so thankful to her. Camden is without a doubt who you want to take care of your animal and who will provide them with the same level of care and love as you would. I have the utmost trust in her abilities. Thank you, Camden!!!! Rowan misses you already.

Vi is awesome! She is very sweet with our very old kitty and our two pups. We were on a trip when our kitty got sick and Vi managed the situation perfectly. She treated him with loving care until we returned home (he’s okay). She is thorough and pays attention to detail. The best part about her is that our pets love her.

Jessica stayed at my apartment to watch my dog Toby, and she was an excellent sitter. Toby is sometimes anxious around new people, but Jessica made him (and myself) feel at ease. She was able to adapt to his needs, whether it was going for a walk or letting him sleep on the couch. She sent the cutest photos and was very responsive. I will definitely reach out to her again, and Toby LOVED her.

I'm thrilled to have found Savannah and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. She is responsible and went above and beyond keeping my home clean (she even made my bed with new fresh sheets!). She sent lots of updates and pictures and my pup loved her.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Corona del Mar on Rover is $69.93 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 5,935 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Corona del Mar. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Corona del Mar walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Corona del Mar maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Corona del Mar choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
