I’m an experienced animal lover with a deep understanding of pets of all kinds—big, small, young, old, and everything in between! I’ve raised over 35 dogs of various breeds, from French poodles and huskies to Yorkies and golden retrievers, as well as countless cats with unique personalities. I’ve potty-trained dogs to scratch the door when they need to go outside and even trained puppies using creative methods like sound cues and treats. While I’m not a certified trainer, my psychology background helps me understand animal behavior, whether it’s picking up on quiet signals or working with more vocal pets. I’ve also cared for senior pets with complex needs, like those with ear infections or watery eyes, always prioritizing cleanliness, proper feeding, and constant attention. I believe every animal has a unique personality, and I adjust my care to fit their needs—whether it’s giving a quiet senior cat space or keeping an energetic puppy entertained. With my hands-on experience, creative approach, and love for all animals, your pets will be in great hands with me!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets at a client’s home, my priority is to follow your instructions and make sure your pet feels safe and loved. I’ll ask detailed questions to understand your pet’s personality, needs, and routine, ensuring their care aligns with what they’re used to. Safety is always my top concern—your pet will always be in sight, on a leash when necessary, and given plenty of attention if they’re interactive. For pets who prefer space, I’ll ensure they’re comfortable while keeping a close eye on them. I’ll respect any household rules, like keeping pets off furniture, and stick to areas where you feel most comfortable. If needed, I can clean up after them, provide baths, or brush their fur (though I don’t do haircuts). I also have a sweet, friendly calico cat who’s great with dogs and cats, so if you’re open to it, I can even help your pet socialize. Whether your pet needs playtime, supervision, or extra care, I’m here to provide loving and personalized attention!

Ivana was kind to Brandy and it was clear she cared about him. I don’t believe there was any bad intent, and she did spend a lot of time with him during the stay. Unfortunately, the communication did not meet my expectations. I had to repeatedly ask for updates and photos rather than receiving them proactively, which made it difficult for me to feel informed about how Brandy was doing. There were also changes in location and activities during the stay that were not communicated beforehand. When I raised my concerns afterward, I felt that they were met with explanations rather than acknowledgment of why the experience was stressful from an owner’s perspective. Overall, the stay caused me a lot of anxiety, and I did not feel the level of communication and transparency I look for when leaving my dog in someone else’s care.
Ivana did a good job taking care of my two senior great danes. I appreciate the updates and feedback. She was also nice enough to tidy up before she left. I look forward to booking with her again.
We came home to a happy dog. Ivana sent us pictures and a video throughout her stay with Clyde.
Ivana took great care of our two cats, they loved her! She gave them lots of attention and was very responsive.
Ivana was great with Copper and Ozzy! She took excellent care of them for the week and sent tons of pictures and updates, which I really appreciated. They were happy and well cared for when I got back. I’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her.
Ivana is such kindhearted young lady, she has always loved all kinds of animals., but her favourites are dogs and cats mostly dogs.She has always had a pet as long as I’ve known her and she’s be caring ,loving and patience with them. Schedule
As a full-time UCI student, small business owner, and Sephora employee, I thrive on productivity and time management. While my schedule sounds busy, I’m motivated and happiest when I have plenty to do—especially when it involves caring for animals! I’m available Monday mornings (except 9–10 AM), Monday and Wednesday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday nights. My Sephora schedule varies, but I typically work Saturdays, Fridays, or Sundays, and I’m always happy to adjust my availability to prioritize pet care. With advance notice, I can easily make time on weekends or other days, ensuring your pets get the attention they deserve!
