“I cannot say enough nice things about our experience with Silvia. My dog absolutely loves her and she did a wonderful job dog sitting and house sitting while we were away. I highly recommend her.”

“Kaitlin was wonderful and is a great communicator! She sent us a picture of the dogs while we were gone which we really appreciated! Looking forward to our next booking and will continue to book with her in the future. :)”

About: I've taken care of dogs of all sizes whether it is dog walking, overnight care, doggy boarding, on site home visits and can pick up/drop off pets. I am not currently working so I have all day to care for your lovely dogs. I'm available for dog walking, on site home visits, and overnight care at your or my house if needed. I have a small open garden and safe sidewalks in my area to walk your dog. If your dog is an adventurer, I am close by the beach and a few hiking spots! I have also administered medicine by hiding it in some peanut butter ;)
“John was great! We booked last minute. I went with him based on his reviews, and they’re all accurate. He was prompt and our dog took to him immediately. We got photos while we were out and Faust was so relaxed when we got back. We will definitely book with him again in the future. Honestly, 10 out of 10.”

“Laura is absolutely amazing. My boys are usually nervous around new people and she made them so comfortable and happy! My older chi needs daily medication and she didn't blink an eye, making sure he had everything he needed. She sent lots of daily pics and videos, and my home was super neat and tidy upon my return. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura and will absolutely use her services again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a kid! I love meeting new animals and caring for them. My experience ranges from boarding animals for 7 days, to doing stop-by visits multiple times per day. I not only love animals but I love giving families the peace of mind that their animal is in good hands. I’m a very caring mother and pet owner who is diligent and flexible. Having pets of my own my whole life, I’ve learned how to care for, engage and love all sorts of animals. I’m looking for families that need help either as a one-time getaway or on a regular basis! I’m happy to help. My goal in life is to have time and flexibility to be with my family, and caring for pets allows me that freedom! Looking forward to helping you and your furry friend. I’m currently available to help in any capacity! Feel free to reach out. I am a full-time mom and have an open schedule. I have a large home with plenty of room for your pet! There are grass areas and plenty of shade. My neighborhood has great trails where we can walk dogs. I love all animals and always treat them well! I will be sure to send you updates and photos if requested.
“Egemen was great with our Marley girl! Was super sensitive and patient with her until she got more settled in to us being out of town for the week. He sent daily pictures and took care of her as if she were his own. He remained professional by giving updates on what was going on and was quick to respond to any situation. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have your fur baby taken care of while you are out of town. We all thank you Egemen, most importantly Marley girl ☺️✨🐕”

About: ** Currently in Laguna Beach for June&July! ** Hi! I’m Mikayla. I’ve been caring for pets through Rover for over five years and have maintained all five-star reviews along the way. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember—from dogs and cats to reptiles, farm animals, and just about everything in between. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddle sessions, sticking to a specific routine, or simply providing a calm and reassuring presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I genuinely love meeting new animals and building relationships with both pets and their people. If your pet enjoys extra attention, affection, and being just a little bit spoiled, we’ll get along great. 🐾💕 I have a high energy dog named Sienna, and when I’m not working I’m spending time with her outside, going on walks or playing. My schedule varies from day to day, so don’t hesitate to reach out and ask if I have the availability that you might need. My pup and I go on at least 1 long walk and two shorter walks each day and would love to bring your pup along. Your pets can make themselves at home at our place! Sleeping on furniture is allowed, but if that’s not the rule in your home I’ll follow your lead 👍🏻 They will also have plenty of outside time and will get lots of exercise with my pup who wants to play constantly. I have a pretty good understanding of animal behavior and body language, but please let me know if your pet needs any accommodations around behavior so I can keep everyone safe and happy 😊

About: Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life! I have personal and professional experience with dogs, cats, birds, small animals, and reptiles. As a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in animal science, I have extensive knowledge in pet care and animal enrichment. I am currently working remotely, so I have plenty of time in the day to entertain and care for your pet/pets if I were to be house sitting. Alternatively, I have plenty of availability for drop in visits or walks as needed. For house sitting, I would carry on your pet's schedule as if you were home. Walks, food, and any other hygiene or health care routines would be carried out as usual. I am also capable of maintaining home care routines and chores as well, garbage, watering plants, etc.
“Lisa is AWESOME! She stayed at our house with our two Goldendoodles (who can be a handful) and it was a great experience. The dogs loved her and I think they were sadder to see her go than for us to get home! She shared lots of pics and updates and made us feel very secure knowing our dogs were so well cared for. We will definitely be using Lisa again in the future!”

About: I'm a student with a passion for dogs & cats. You can rely on me to be a gentle, patient caretaker while I'm with your furry friends. I pay attention to signs of stress, like "whale eyes," and respect the boundaries of the dog setting them. And don't worry, I'm prepared for some behavior management there and some mess clean-up here, it's part of the job! TRANSPARENCY: I will communicate with you with photo, video, and textual updates whether or not they are requested. I will especially let you in on any red flags for medical problems like refusing food or vomit. BOARDING: I am currently only taking pets from one client at a time, as my apartment is not large enough to separate pets (especially two or more dogs) if issues arise. I will take up to two medium-large dogs at once. I will take up to three small dogs (0-20 lb) or cats. You will be expected to provide dog/cat food, harness/collar, any medications, and pee pads if necessary. Optionally you can provide comfort items like a crate, blanket, or toys. I will not accept pets that are reactive / aggressive for boarding, but will for other services. DROP INS VS. WALKS: A drop-in may consist of: feeding/watering the pet, sweeping/scooping/refilling litter, and a short walk (10-15 minutes). A walk usually does not have at-home tasks such as feeding, just a 30 minute walk, though I will provide opportunities for water from my dog-water bottle especially if it's a hot day, throughout the walk. BOARDING OR HOUSE-SITTING?: I would recommend boarding if you have pets that are accustomed to transitioning between locations, and are friendly toward/tolerate meeting new people. I would recommend house-sitting if your pet has separation-anxiety, if they may see new environments/people as threats, if budget is an issue, or if they are a senior. IF YOU have a pet that requires injected medications or has any disabling medical conditions, I will require we meet so you can provide thorough instruction for proper care. This is to ensure I am confident in caring for your dog's special needs prior to our booking. Mon: No classes Tues: 1 class 4pm - 7pm Wed: 2 classes, 10 am - 3 pm, 4 pm - 9 pm Thurs: No classes. Fri: No classes. Sat & Sun: No classes. At your home: I'll respect and take care of the environment as well as your companion. For example pest control, watering plants, sweeping. While Rover only offers specific services for cats and dogs, I could take care of other pocket or caged pets you might have at your home, too. At my home: I thoroughly clean in-between cat clients, including vacuuming, sanitizing food bowls and more. I will not take dogs or more than one cat in my home due to the rules of my landlord. If your dog has very upsetting medical red-flags, such as a seizure, persistent vomitting, or other very concerning symptoms then I will take them to the vet ASAP, which may mean before you have seen my message on the matter. I would do this to prevent a medical emergency worsening due to lack of immediate attention. I would expect compensation for the vet and commuting cost. If you need to end the board / house-sit because of this emergency, or if the pet must stay with the vet overnight, you will be refunded the days after which the board/ house-sit abruptly had to end.
“Emma was amazing! We already can’t wait to use her again. My girls are pretty shy but they warmed up so fast with her! She made them feel really comfortable and I can tell made them feel so loved. She sent a lot of updates and even washed the sheets and took out the trash before she left, she went above & beyond! Thank you Emma!”

“Kassidy is great! She's on time, communicative, and, most importantly, so sweet with our senior dog. It was so reassuring to know she was caring for him so diligently while we were away. I'd highly recommend her!”
“Marketta did an amazing job taking care of our 2 dogs while we were away. She is very trustworthy, responsive and caring. It’s nice to know our dogs were in great hands! We highly recommend her and can’t wait to have her watch our pups again!”

“Wonderful! While we were out of town Micah cared for our girl and our home. We interviewed quite a few people prior to meeting and subsequently hiring Micah during our first meet. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring and went beyond our expectations. We spent our time away knowing our girl was taken care of. He sent daily updates w photos and videos. This is the guy you want taking care of your precious family pet!”

“Brenda was amazing with my older small diabetic dog and young cat! She took such good care of them and followed our over night instructions perfectly. I will definitely be using her services again.”

“Yara is fantastic! She was so communicative, sent plenty of photos throughout the day, and we could tell she really understands dogs exceptionally well. We would absolutely love to work with her again and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog while in the Carmel area!”
