I'm not ready to get a new dog just yet, but I have a lot of love to give and I'm ready to care for your fur baby on a part-time basis. I'm currently job hunting, so my availability is close to 100% at the moment: I can sit in your home, do drop-in visits, or have your dog(s) stay with me. My condo is completely safe for dogs, my neighborhood is quiet and safe, and there are some great walking routes as well as a dog park nearby. I look forward to hearing from you! I'm currently job hunting, but have been working remotely for the past 13 years. Whatever new job I land will either be Remote or Hybrid. Weekdays are best, though I can occasionally care for your dog(s) on weekends as well. With my own dog Mae, I was feeding her twice a day, taking her on 5-6 small walks a day, and making sure her brain was stimulated throughout my work day. In my home: I live in a two-story condo with a loft. Most of the square footage is on the second floor, with a 13-step staircase from the ground floor. For older dogs or those with any hip or joint issues, I have no problem carrying them up or down the stairs. The majority of the main floor has either carpet or large, thick area rugs; the rest of the flooring is wood laminate. I have no problem letting dogs up on furniture or the bed as long as they're fairly clean (especially paws). Your dog will have full access to fresh, cold, filtered water as well as fans/air conditioning, toys and brain enrichment puzzles. I will follow your instructions on what, if any, treats they are allowed to have (and how many). In your home: you make the rules and I will follow them to the letter! I will treat your home and personal property with respect. If I have a question (and I will probably think of lots of them), I will ask you instead of assuming what the answer is. I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I have my own car, and I'd love nothing more than to stay home with your dog(s) all day.

About: Hi, My name is Lita, I’m new on rover but well experienced in the dog world. I currently own a very special boy Doberman pincher. His name is Griffin and he is 6 1/2 years old. I’ve had him since the age of one. He is a rescue that survived a gunshot went to a shelter then to a foster who couldn’t handle him and back to the shelter. Then to his final destination which was ME! Nowadays, Griffin is thriving, and is known to be the best behaved and well trained dog in the neighborhood, as well as the most loved at the vet. I’ve spent a tremendous amount of time and effort, making sure that Griffin will live up to his potential And become the best possible dog. I also take care of Eros, a European champion line, German Shepherd, who weighs as much as I do if not more. After nearly 5 years of taking care of him, he and his family are like my own. I’ve been around dogs and learned proper care and handling since childhood, as my family used to breed Airedale Terriers and French bulldogs. I live a bi- coastal life (part Southern California part south Florida) which means that if you see my availability open on here, my schedule would be wide open to take care of your dog/s, and I won’t be leaving for extended periods of time to work. I’m happy to take them with me anywhere like parks, hikes, the beach, car rides etc. And will be providing them with all the enrichment and exercise they want and or need :) looking forward to working with you! I have a fitness business in south Florida that I return to but When I’m in California, my schedule is nearly wide open and this dog sitting will take priority. I would be with them as much as needed and can take them with me places. I provide very knowledgeable handling, care, and attention. Dogs THRIVE on structure and I am the best at it. I’m extremely disciplined with my dog, and can follow any routine with yours too.

About: Growing up, I always had two dogs. Most recently I had a ChowChow mixed with a German Shepard (a very agggresive rescue) and a pure bread German Shepard. I’d take them on daily walks together and to a dog park to play catch with them and work on training them on my own. When they both passed away, I couldn’t take the heartache to go through the pain again. That’s when, I started to carefor pets to fill my heart and love for dogs without the heartache. Many friends and family have relied on me in Chicago to pet sit for them or take their dogs on walks. When I moved to California I knew I wanted to start pet sitting and dog walking, I just didn’t have an avenue to start it back up until I found Rover. I am very patient, loving and caring. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, age and tempers. Currently, I work from home and am available for boarding all week. My schedule is flexible, so I can devote time to playing with your pups and taking them for walks throughout the day! I live right by the beach and take multiple walks throughout the day with my 4-year-old. We’d love to have your pup tag along with us! I have a two-story place with plenty of room to host your fur baby. Although I do not have a dog of my own at the moment, I do have a 4-year-old who loves dogs just as much as I do and will give them extra cuddles! We live in a great community, and there is plenty of grass in our courtyard for dogs to play or take a quick potty break. We also have a patio and balcony that the dogs can lounge in the sun on. I provide nearly constant companionship, as I am almost always home. However, for your pet’s safety, they should be comfortable staying alone for short periods without causing trouble or being in distress.
About: I've been helping my Aunts Dog Rescue Organization Doggie Bonez since the age of 10. I've grown up around all kinds of dogs from Cane Corsos and pit bulls to pugs and small dogs. I've been around dogs with different conditions and mannerisms and I feel very well equipped to take care of them and walk them. I love being around dogs and would love to help where I can. I volunteer on Sundays in San Juan Capistrano at the Doggie Bonez adoption events which consists of me watching over all the dogs feeding, walking, and monitoring them from 11am-3pm. I will also transport animals for the event and watch over dogs who are in. Foster homes when the owner needs help. I will be with the dogs or puppy for as long as I can and play with them, feed them, and clean up after them. I try to give them as much love as I can with the time I have with them.

My schedule is very flexible, my calendar is kept up weekly. I can come to you and prefer to keep dogs in their environment. This keeps them peaceful. We have two of our own dogs, 2 small Yorkies.
