Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. “Priscilla and her family were wonderful with our precious Penny. This was our first time leaving her for such a long time -- while Penny is a sweetheart, she can also be a handful because of her youthful exuberance. Priscilla (along with husband and kids) left us feeling so assured that Penny was thoroughly loved during our time away. Not only did Priscilla give us frequent updates with pics and videos, she also gave us training and enrichment tips with some of the toys they had vetted with their dog Finn beforehand and got to use with Penny while she was there. Their dog is also a sweetheart, and our two pups got along phenomenally which was a delight. Moreso, Penny really bonded with the whole family! During the latter half of our trip, we had a neighbor take care of her, and they drove her up to our building safe and sound =] I'm so much more confident about traveling knowing I can leave my girl in Priscilla's wonderfully capable and caring hands.”

I can tell that Sophie loved each of the 3 days they stayed with her because she did not want to come back to the hotel (or car) with me. I can tell they were on top of her medicine too which is a priority. They were also so very flexible with the time to keep her, since my time on the coast required longer days and later hours than I had originally anticipated. The area around their home is also very dog friendly and they are steps to the beach. Very good communication as well throughout the three days. I highly recommend Egemen to keep an eye on your pups. About: Hi! I'm Jon, I'm in my early 40s, and I live with my partner in a condo in Aliso Viejo, CA. (I would be the sole service provider) Until recently, my #1 hobby was spending time with my dog, Mae. I loved taking her out on nature trails and all kinds of adventures (in 2024, I even took Mae on a family road trip all the way up to Seattle and back!). After having her for 9 years in our home, I sadly lost my sweet girl in September 2025; she was about 13 years old and unfortunately had developed several unforeseen medical issues. There were a lot of long days and nights of administering medications and emergency vet visits until I made the hard decision to have her pass in comfort at home. I'm still healing from the loss: since I worked from home, Mae was my shadow all day, every day. I have used Rover for many years, but I'm easing into the other side of being a service provider. I'm not ready to get a new dog just yet, but I have a lot of love to give and I'm ready to care for your fur baby on a part-time basis. I'm currently job hunting, so my availability is close to 100% at the moment: I can sit in your home, do drop-in visits, or have your dog(s) stay with me. My condo is completely safe for dogs, my neighborhood is quiet and safe, and there are some great walking routes as well as a dog park nearby. I look forward to hearing from you! Weekdays are best, though I can occasionally care for your dog(s) on weekends as well. With my own dog Mae, I was feeding her twice a day, taking her on 5-6 small walks a day, and making sure her brain was stimulated throughout my work day. In my home: I live in a two-story condo with a loft. Most of the square footage is on the second floor, with a 13-step staircase from the ground floor. For older dogs or those with any hip or joint issues, I have no problem carrying them up or down the stairs. The majority of the main floor has either carpet or large, thick area rugs; the rest of the flooring is wood laminate. I have no problem letting dogs up on furniture or the bed as long as they're fairly clean (especially paws). Your dog will have full access to fresh, cold, filtered water as well as fans/air conditioning, toys and brain enrichment puzzles. I will follow your instructions on what, if any, treats they are allowed to have (and how many). In your home: you make the rules and I will follow them to the letter! I will treat your home and personal property with respect. If I have a question (and I will probably think of lots of them), I will ask you instead of assuming what the answer is. I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I have my own car, and I'd love nothing more than to stay home with your dog(s) all day.

About: Growing up, I always had two dogs. Most recently I had a ChowChow mixed with a German Shepard (a very agggresive rescue) and a pure bread German Shepard. I’d take them on daily walks together and to a dog park to play catch with them and work on training them on my own. When they both passed away, I couldn’t take the heartache to go through the pain again. That’s when, I started to care for friends, family and neighbors pets to fill my heart and love for dogs without the heartache. Many friends and family have relied on me in Chicago to pet sit for them or take their dogs on walks. When I moved to California I knew I wanted to start pet sitting and dog walking, I just didn’t have an avenue to start it back up until I found Rover. I am very patient, loving and caring. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, age and tempers. Currently I work from home and am available for boarding all week. About: Animals have always been my passion! I have around 9 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds in different settings. I’ve spent the last 3 years running my own in-home petsitting and dog walking company in GA. Previously I spent a year working in a veterinary office as a kennel tech and assistant. About: Growing up helping my grandparents on their farm and having many pets in my own household gave me hands on experience with animals of all kinds including cattle, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs! I am staying with my aunt and uncle over the summer and am looking for animal care opportunities. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every pet in my care. My goal is to create a calm, reliable, and loving space where pets feel secure and happy, ensuring their well-being is always my top priority. About: My husband and I are both dog lovers and have always been the go-to choice to dog-sit when our friends go out of town. We are always thrilled to be able to take care of dogs, especially because we just lost our 12 year old pug to cancer. I am compassionate, energetic, active, responsible, and an early riser. My husband and I will treat your dog as our own! I have my own business, so I do work from home a lot. My hubby and I are home by 5 pretty much everyday, and usually home all day on the weekends. If I we agree to watch your dog, we will not be leaving them alone for extended periods of time and we will also not book any other dogs during that time Without checking with you first. We live in a pretty spacious 2 bedroom apartment. We are 2 blocks from the beach and a beautiful park that overlooks the ocean and we love going on long walks. We allow dogs to roam free in the apartment, but are willing to crate if requested. We have toys, treats, comfy couches, and we even let doggies sleep in the bed with us if they want.
About: I’ve had a dog since the age of 4! I currently have 2 huskies that out 6 and 4, plus a kitten that are very spoiled and that I treat as if they were actual children. I have taken care of all my family and friends pets and even know how to give pet CPR and trained in helping choking dogs I have a stay at home job so I’m home 24/7 which allows me to be attentive 100% of the time to pets and their care! My home provides a fenced in yard with high walls for escape artists. Around the clock petting, bathroom access at all times, toys, treats for good behavior, a large crate if needed, walks, cat posts, high surfaces to sit on, and 3 pets of my own for company!

About: Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life! I have personal and professional experience with dogs, cats, birds, small animals, and reptiles. As a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in animal science, I have extensive knowledge in pet care and animal enrichment. I am currently working remotely, so I have plenty of time in the day to entertain and care for your pet/pets if I were to be house sitting. Alternatively, I have plenty of availability for drop in visits or walks as needed. For house sitting, I would carry on your pet's schedule as if you were home. Walks, food, and any other hygiene or health care routines would be carried out as usual. I am also capable of maintaining home care routines and chores as well, garbage, watering plants, etc.

About: New to Laguna Beach and the Rover app, but not new to dogs. I’ve got time over the next few months and couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than caring for great pets. I was born and raised in San Diego and have been around animals my entire life, especially dogs. My last pets were Buddy, a Doberman, and my two cats, Doug (an orange tabby) and Sheba (a Russian Blue). Roxy’s patience, affection and understanding of Niko was beyond expectation and I’m SO grateful to have met her to help me occasionally with Niko’s care. “My wife and I booked with Banafshe for a long weekend trip, after our go-to dog sitter was unavailable. We are happy we did. Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. We would trust her and her family with our furbaby again and I highly recommend. 🥰”
“Priscilla and her family were wonderful with our precious Penny. This was our first time leaving her for such a long time -- while Penny is a sweetheart, she can also be a handful because of her youthful exuberance. Priscilla (along with husband and kids) left us feeling so assured that Penny was thoroughly loved during our time away. Not only did Priscilla give us frequent updates with pics and videos, she also gave us training and enrichment tips with some of the toys they had vetted with their dog Finn beforehand and got to use with Penny while she was there. Their dog is also a sweetheart, and our two pups got along phenomenally which was a delight. Moreso, Penny really bonded with the whole family! During the latter half of our trip, we had a neighbor take care of her, and they drove her up to our building safe and sound =] I'm so much more confident about traveling knowing I can leave my girl in Priscilla's wonderfully capable and caring hands.”

About: I am a huge animal lover and have experience in caring for a personal dog since he was a puppy, as well as volunteering as a dog walker at a local animal shelter. From these experiences, I am very flexible and able to adapt to various dog personalities in various surroundings. I am also always willing to adapt based on the owner's preferences and specific dogs needs. I am also a very active person so I am able to provide a lot of exercise for active dogs (go to the dog park, biking, running, walking). About: Hi! I have taken care of dogs almost my entire life. I got my first dog when I was 12 and from there on out I have always had at least one. I have always pet sit for family and friends when needed and now I’m looking forward to expanding my services to others. I live in a home and have a fenced in yard. I am used to giving medications if needed and can also care for senior dogs (I have one myself!) I have 2 dogs as of now so your dog will always have someone to play with 😊 I work from home so I am home nearly all day unless I have an errand to run I work from home so I am always home! I also have a backyard where they can run around whenever they want. I usually leave the door cracked for easy in/out access and I have a fully fenced in yard I have a fenced in yard and do frequent potty breaks! If your dog is crate trained I can keep them on whatever schedule they are used to at home. Throughout the years I’ve had to administer my fair share of medication so if your dog needs any medication I would be more than happy to administer! If they come to my home, they will always have a friend to play with since I have 2 dogs myself 🙂
