About: 18 years of experience with our own dogs, however, our last remaining dog crossed the rainbow bridge this year and we're looking to share some love with some furry friends again in a different way. I have experience with puppies, shy dogs and senior dogs. We don't have children and truly believe dogs are our kids and should be spoiled as such :) I work from home 5 days a week so I can provide a comforting environment with your pup, ensuring they they have plenty of company and support. I work full-time from home so I have a wide availability and will ensure your pup has plenty of care and company. We are home in the evenings and weekends, but if your pup appreciates a little adventure, we can always walk to the beach or park or whatever they like! We have an unfenced yard so playtime will always be leashed and supervised. If your pup likes a little nap in the sun, we do have a fenced patio where he or she can enjoy some supervised outside time off-leash. Due to coyote presence in Orange County, your pup will never be left outside unsupervised, even in the fenced patio.
“Thank you Kayleigh for going above and beyond while walking Dalia. And thank you so much for taking care of our hello fresh delivery and taking the initiative to out it in the fridge. We look forward to having you walk Dalia again!”

I have also administered medicine by hiding it in some peanut butter ;)
About: I love to spend time with animals and I am available weekday afternoons for dog walking, after my barn management job in the morning. I am responsible and dependable and very active, so I can handle large dogs. Fluffy dogs like golden retrievers really tickle my heart. I have extensive experience as an equestrian trainer, which has demonstrated my ability to work with animals. I will build a firm and affectionate relationship with your best friend, giving them the attention and exercise they need. When I walk and talk with a dog, I feel good and so do they. Let me meet your dog and help you provide the loving care your great dog needs. Call or text me (Nur) and I will respond to you right away. I'm am available 7days a week. I am an early riser so mornings to late afternoon are great. My hours are very flexible to fit your needs. I will always provide a safe environment for any animal and make them feel comfortable, loved and relaxed to help eliminate any anxiety while their owners are away.
About: Growing up, I always had two dogs. Most recently I had a ChowChow mixed with a German Shepard (a very agggresive rescue) and a pure bread German Shepard. I’d take them on daily walks together and to a dog park to play catch with them and work on training them on my own. When they both passed away, I couldn’t take the heartache to go through the pain again. That’s when, I started to carefor pets to fill my heart and love for dogs without the heartache. Many friends and family have relied on me in Chicago to pet sit for them or take their dogs on walks. When I moved to California I knew I wanted to start pet sitting and dog walking, I just didn’t have an avenue to start it back up until I found Rover. I am very patient, loving and caring. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, age and tempers. Currently, I work from home and am available for boarding all week. My schedule is flexible, so I can devote time to playing with your pups and taking them for walks throughout the day! I live right by the beach and take multiple walks throughout the day with my 4-year-old. We’d love to have your pup tag along with us! I have a two-story place with plenty of room to host your fur baby. Although I do not have a dog of my own at the moment, I do have a 4-year-old who loves dogs just as much as I do and will give them extra cuddles! We live in a great community, and there is plenty of grass in our courtyard for dogs to play or take a quick potty break. We also have a patio and balcony that the dogs can lounge in the sun on. I provide nearly constant companionship, as I am almost always home. However, for your pet’s safety, they should be comfortable staying alone for short periods without causing trouble or being in distress.

About: Growing up with a mom who is allergic to animals meant I never had pets of my own, but I’ve always had a huge love for animals. I started pet sitting at a young age for neighbors, friends, and family, and I’ve loved getting to care for pets as if they were my own. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether it’s energetic puppies who need playtime and training reinforcement, senior pets who need extra patience and care, or simply giving your pet companionship while you’re away, I’m dedicated to making them feel safe, loved, and happy. I am currently home for the summer and have a very flexible schedule, giving me plenty of time to dedicate to your pets and provide whatever care they need. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the week. I love incorporating pet care into my routine by making time for exercise, outdoor activities, and giving animals the attention and affection they deserve. I’m happy to work around your pet’s schedule and ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I provide care in my client’s home by following their pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I prioritize making pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owners are away.
About: I am a huge animal lover and have experience in caring for a personal dog since he was a puppy, as well as volunteering as a dog walker at a local animal shelter. From these experiences, I am very flexible and able to adapt to various dog personalities in various surroundings. I am also always willing to adapt based on the owner's preferences and specific dogs needs. I am also a very active person so I am able to provide a lot of exercise for active dogs (go to the dog park, biking, running, walking). In addition, I tend to pay a lot of care to detail and will ensure that your dog is well taken care of and has a pawsitively fantastic time with me!
About: My husband and I are both dog lovers and have always been the go-to choice to dog-sit when our friends go out of town. We are always thrilled to be able to take care of dogs, especially because we just lost our 12 year old pug to cancer. I am compassionate, energetic, active, responsible, and an early riser. My husband and I will treat your dog as our own! I have my own business, so I do work from home a lot. My hubby and I are home by 5 pretty much everyday, and usually home all day on the weekends. If I we agree to watch your dog, we will not be leaving them alone for extended periods of time and we will also not book any other dogs during that time Without checking with you first. We live in a pretty spacious 2 bedroom apartment. We are 2 blocks from the beach and a beautiful park that overlooks the ocean and we love going on long walks. We allow dogs to roam free in the apartment, but are willing to crate if requested. We have toys, treats, comfy couches, and we even let doggies sleep in the bed with us if they want.
About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a little girl, and for the past 10 years I’ve been fostering and adopting pups in need. Becoming a dog mom myself showed me just how hard it can be to find someone who cares for my furry babies with the same love and attention I give them. With that understanding, I make it my priority to ensure your fur-baby feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away from home. I am currently a new pediatric resident. Although my work hours can be long, I love spending time with animals and would love to de-stress by spending time with your furry baby. As a dog parent, you know what is best for your dog, so I will do my best to emulate the same care you give your furry baby. With my background in medical training and experience with special-needs dogs, I feel very comfortable with medically complex animals.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and started dog sitting 5 years ago after losing our dog to cancer. I treat all of my dog clients like they are my own, giving them lots of walks, love and attention. I also have experience giving medications and diabetes injections as well. I do not work outside of the home and have freedom to spend as much time as possible with my clients. We can work out what schedule works best for your dog. I care for your pet at my place and make sure they are comfortable in the surroundings. I always meet with clients before the visit so they can be assured their dog is in the best spot for them.
About: Animals have always been my passion! I have around 9 years of experience caring for animals of all kinds in different settings. I’ve spent the last 3 years running my own in-home petsitting and dog walking company in GA. Previously I spent a year working in a veterinary office as a kennel tech and assistant. For around 8 years, I’ve volunteered at a local shelter walking, feeding and medicating the dogs. I try to keep animals in my daily life because they truly bring me the most joy!
“Mikayla is an absolute life saver. Not only was she kind, our meatball loved her. She was punctual, communicative and flexible. She went above and beyond. My first time using rover I was a little skeptical but Mikayla surpassed all expectations. Absolutely can not wait to use her again.”

About: Growing up helping my grandparents on their farm and having many pets in my own household gave me hands on experience with animals of all kinds including cattle, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs! I treat every pet like family —with patience, care, and a deep understanding of their needs. I'm flexible with hours, though my schedule is still forming. I am staying with my aunt and uncle over the summer and am looking for animal care opportunities. I prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment for every pet in my care. My goal is to create a calm, reliable, and loving space where pets feel secure and happy, ensuring their well-being is always my top priority. I am happy to care for your pets in your home and walking them in your neighborhood, but I am unable to offer pet sitting at my residence.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
