About: 18 years of experience with our own dogs, however, our last remaining dog crossed the rainbow bridge this year and we're looking to share some love with some furry friends again in a different way. I have experience with puppies, shy dogs and senior dogs. We don't have children and truly believe dogs are our kids and should be spoiled as such :) I work from home 5 days a week so I can provide a comforting environment with your pup, ensuring they they have plenty of company and support. I work full-time from home so I have a wide availability and will ensure your pup has plenty of care and company. We are home in the evenings and weekends, but if your pup appreciates a little adventure, we can always walk to the beach or park or whatever they like! We have an unfenced yard so playtime will always be leashed and supervised. If your pup likes a little nap in the sun, we do have a fenced patio where he or she can enjoy some supervised outside time off-leash. Due to coyote presence in Orange County, your pup will never be left outside unsupervised, even in the fenced patio.
“I would highly recommend Joseph. He’s a natural with our babies and his calm demeanor is helpful for them because our little bulldog can get feisty with other dogs while on leash. Physical strength was a big deal for us as we have a 60-lb Pit/Staffy mix, and a mini (40lb) bulldog & he walks them at the same time, with ease. We’re grateful we found Joseph!”

“Thank you Kayleigh for going above and beyond while walking Dalia. And thank you so much for taking care of our hello fresh delivery and taking the initiative to out it in the fridge. We look forward to having you walk Dalia again!”
“Shannon was fantastic! Needed my Dobie fed and walked for 2 days while I was away 6am - 8pm. After an initial meet & greet, I felt Shannon was right for the job and she exceeded expectations. In addition to providing the necessary poop & pee report, she added additional commentary and plenty of photos. Bianca seemed happy each night when I returned home. I will definitely use Shannon again when needed.”

About: I have grown up with animals all of my life. With busy working parents, I was often the one doing most of the animal care. I grew up with 2 large German Shepherds and 2 cats, so I am familiar with handling large breeds and taking care of multiple animals at once. I am a huge animal lover and have always been a natural pet caregiver. The well-being of animals is my top priority. I am currently working remotely and so I will be home and available to take care of your pets. I am also completely available on the weekends. I love to be outside and walking! I can’t wait to take lovely long walks with pets. Additionally, my favorite pastime is cuddling with furry friends on the couch!
About: I’ve had pets my entire life and I absolutely love working with any and all animals! It would be an honor to be able to hang out with your pets for the day! I am available most evening from 4:00 pm onward. Tuesdays and Thursday I am available for multiple hours throughout the day! Contact me about weekend! I have a car for walks in the park and a large backyard for the dogs to roam in under my supervision. Your pet will be in good care! I also love walks and hikes and am happy to walk your pup within your comfort zone!
“Egemen is amazing! He is the best dog sitter/walker I have ever had. He is so communicative, understanding, and very kind! I appreciate how patient and gentle he is with my dogs. He is very easy to work with and is great with last minute changes! 5 stars for sure, would give 6 if I could! I’m so grateful to have found an amazing dog sitter for when I’m at work.”

“Sarah is super accommodating and extremely kind! She treated our puppy as her own and spoiled her with lots of snuggles. We even felt comfortable enough to extend our vacation because we knew our puppy was in the very best hands while we were away!”

About: Hi! I’m new to Rover and excited to start caring for pets in my community. I grew up with dogs and have always loved being around animals. I’m patient, responsible, and happy to give pets lots of attention, whether that’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company at home. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m also very respectful of people’s homes and treat them with the same care I would my own. Keeping things clean, safe, and exactly how you left them is very important to me. I currently have open availability, so pet care is my main focus right now. I’m able to be fully present, stick to your pet’s routine, and provide consistent care and companionship throughout the day. I follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I keep a clean, calm environment, pay close attention on walks and at home, and always prioritize safety. I treat every home with respect and send regular updates so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I've been helping my Aunts Dog Rescue Organization Doggie Bonez since the age of 10. I've grown up around all kinds of dogs from Cane Corsos and pit bulls to pugs and small dogs. I've been around dogs with different conditions and mannerisms and I feel very well equipped to take care of them and walk them. I love being around dogs and would love to help where I can. I volunteer on Sundays in San Juan Capistrano at the Doggie Bonez adoption events which consists of me watching over all the dogs feeding, walking, and monitoring them from 11am-3pm. I will also transport animals for the event and watch over dogs who are in. Foster homes when the owner needs help. I will be with the dogs or puppy for as long as I can and play with them, feed them, and clean up after them. I try to give them as much love as I can with the time I have with them.
About: Growing up, I always had two dogs. Most recently I had a ChowChow mixed with a German Shepard (a very agggresive rescue) and a pure bread German Shepard. I’d take them on daily walks together and to a dog park to play catch with them and work on training them on my own. When they both passed away, I couldn’t take the heartache to go through the pain again. That’s when, I started to carefor pets to fill my heart and love for dogs without the heartache. Many friends and family have relied on me in Chicago to pet sit for them or take their dogs on walks. When I moved to California I knew I wanted to start pet sitting and dog walking, I just didn’t have an avenue to start it back up until I found Rover. I am very patient, loving and caring. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, age and tempers. Currently, I work from home and am available for boarding all week. My schedule is flexible, so I can devote time to playing with your pups and taking them for walks throughout the day! I live right by the beach and take multiple walks throughout the day with my 4-year-old. We’d love to have your pup tag along with us! I have a two-story place with plenty of room to host your fur baby. Although I do not have a dog of my own at the moment, I do have a 4-year-old who loves dogs just as much as I do and will give them extra cuddles! We live in a great community, and there is plenty of grass in our courtyard for dogs to play or take a quick potty break. We also have a patio and balcony that the dogs can lounge in the sun on. I provide nearly constant companionship, as I am almost always home. However, for your pet’s safety, they should be comfortable staying alone for short periods without causing trouble or being in distress.

About: Hi, My name is Lita, I’m new on rover but well experienced in the dog world. I currently own a very special boy Doberman pincher. His name is Griffin and he is 6 1/2 years old. I’ve had him since the age of one. He is a rescue that survived a gunshot went to a shelter then to a foster who couldn’t handle him and back to the shelter. Then to his final destination which was ME! Nowadays, Griffin is thriving, and is known to be the best behaved and well trained dog in the neighborhood, as well as the most loved at the vet. I’ve spent a tremendous amount of time and effort, making sure that Griffin will live up to his potential And become the best possible dog. I live a bi- coastal life (part Southern California part south Florida) which means that if you see my availability open on here, my schedule would be wide open to take care of your dog/s, and I won’t be leaving for extended periods of time to work. I’m happy to take them with me anywhere like parks, hikes, the beach, car rides etc. And will be providing them with all the enrichment and exercise they want and or need :) looking forward to working with you! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
