“Andrea was super helpful and responsive. I made a mistake with my address in Rover and she reached out quickly and was very kind about the whole situation. Highly recommend & will hopefully book with her again in the future :)”

About: I’ve been a dog owner since 2013 where I was responsible for feeding, walking, grooming and giving my dog daily exercise activities. I also previously watched dogs for families and friends before apps like Rover came out. I’ve always been naturally friendly with dogs and they take a liking to me. Right now I’m available weekdays. I do work part-time as a sports coach in the afternoons. I do my best to be very present to support my wife and first born seven month old girl. I’m able to walk our fur pals whether their are crated or not with care. Our two dogs (a pure miniature Corgi and white Canaan) used to be crated for when my wife and I went to work. Eventually I worked from home so they didn’t have to be crated during the day. My wife and I moved back home with her parents so our dogs live with my mother on their property.

About: I’ve had dogs majority my life and would love nothing more than to share the love and take care of your dogs & pups when you aren’t able to give them the love they deserve! Growing up my family used rover and opened our home to other dogs often! I work a part time job, mainly shifts at 5 AM, so my days are wide open and flexible to come take care of your dog! I am flexible with timing and would love nothing more than to fill the time I’m not at work with keeping your dog(s) safe and loved! My own dog is very energetic and eager to walk so I am used to long walks and not afraid to take them on fun adventures while you are at work or on your own fun adventure! I don’t mind staying longer after walks and feeding your fur babies and making sure they have water to stay hydrated!
“My wife and I needed a dog walker last minute. We also needed someone to come by early. Amy was very professional. She continuously gave me updates on the walk. This was my first time using a hired dog walker and Amy made me and my wife feel very comfortable. We very much appreciate Amy and the effort she took to walk our dog.”

“Kelsey is a one of a kind dog-sitter. From the start, her communication was consistent and friendly. My dog, Birdy, took an immediate liking to her and I felt totally relaxed as Kelsey’s care for her was as if Birdy was her own. Throughout their time together, Kelsey updated me with videos and pictures and took extra care in assuring my home was safely locked up and secure before she left. Kelsey went above and beyond and I will be thrilled to use her expertise again soon. Thank you!!!”

About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience raising two Frenchies and a Chihuahua. I also care for loved ones’ pets when needed, providing reliable, loving, and attentive care. Since I am currently not working, I have plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate my full attention to caring for pets. My days are focused on providing love, playtime, walks and companionship, making sure your furry friend feels happy and well cared for throughout the day and/or night. I’m available to give your pets the consistent care and attention they deserve! When caring for pets in your home, I focus on making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’ll keep up with their usual routine–feeding, walking, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. When the dogs are calm and resting, I will use that quiet time to tidy up and clean around the house, so everything looks even better than when you left. It’s all about keeping your pets and home happy!
“It's always a pleasure to have Maria watch over my dogs!! She genuinely puts a lot of care and love into them. My dogs are a handful, and she is one of the few people I trust who I know can handle them! I highly recommend her!”

About: With more than 10 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, I truly love working with animals. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making sure pets feel comfortable, exercised, and cared for. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, extra scratches, feeding, or companionship, I make sure every pet gets the love and attention they deserve. I’m mostly available on Fridays, and the weekends. The weekends, I have the most availability so you can do day trips and not have to worry. I can also do some weeknights. I follow each pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to keep them comfortable and easy any stress. It usually helps to have some guidelines to feeding schedules or walk schedules that the owner requests. I will give pets plenty of attention during play time and make sure they are happy, either purring or wagging tails in a good way. I also treat the home with respect by keeping it clean, secure, and following any instructions the owner provides.
About: I LOVE dogs! I’ve worked at a family owned pet store for years and volunteer at the Little Red Dog rescue and adoption events all the time! I raised two furry friends of my own and fostered many in the past. I can’t wait to meet yours!🐾🤍 I’m working part-time right now, I am available during the afternoons and evenings and flexible on Saturdays! Always open to working out a plan :) I go by your dog’s pace. I am patient and gentle while your pup tells me how they feel. About: Hi I’m Janelle! As a self proclaimed “type A” pet parent, I know firsthand how hard it can be to trust someone else with your furry family members. I pay attention to the little details, sticks to routines, and want to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m a proud pet parent to two beagles, Quarter and Nickel, and a senior cat, Karma. My dogs have taught me so much about patience, enrichment, and celebrating each pet for who they are. One of my beagles is reactive, and while he may need a little extra space and understanding, he is still the sweetest pup with his own quirks and personality. Because of this, I’m comfortable working with reactive dogs and understand the importance of patience, boundaries, and building trust. I’m comfortable following your pet’s established routines and care preferences, including the use of e-collars if that is part of their normal training. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, enrichment, medication, or simply a calm companion while you’re away, I’ll provide thoughtful, loving care to help them feel safe and happy. About me: My fiancé and I recently moved back to OC from Seattle! We have 3 fur babies, 2 beagles and 1 cat! I love taking my dogs on walks and hikes and I especially love making treats for them! I also like playing enrichment games with them and agility course training. Our cat is 13 but you wouldn't know it from looking at her! She still enjoys chasing strings and lasers as much as I enjoy watching her lol! I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable care throughout the week to accommodate you and your pet’s routines and needs. Whether your pet is active or a couch potato, I’ll be there to match their pace in your home or on a walk or hike!

I am available for drop ins, dog walking and house sitting on weekdays and weekends. I make sure to ask details such as where the extra pet food, toys, leashes etc are located. I like to set up a meet and greet to go over any pertinent information I need to know. During the stay, I will provide an ample amount of pictures, updates and I always respond promptly to answer any questions or concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
