I’ve cared for all kinds, including a disabled Jack Russell, and my two beloved Boxers who are no longer with us. About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, and goats. My first job was at a pet shelter and later on as a veterinary assistant technician. I love taking dogs on long walks and runs. I’m experienced at handling dogs of all sizes and great at reading animal behavior. I have two senior dogs. I work full time but have time during the evenings and weekend to take care of your pet. I have time for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting. I have a fenced yard and two small old senior dogs who are dog friendly. Even though I have a fenced yard, I think it’s important to walk dogs several times a day to stimulate them.

My beloved childhood dog Teddy that lived to be 18 years old.. now I have a six year old seventy five pound sheepadoodle who is a big loving ball of fluff. We often watch family animals when they need help. I am also an avid walker and walk my dog 4 miles a day so your dog would definitely get adequate exercise. We have always been a dog loving family and love having them in our home. I am currently a stay at home mom so I am home the majority of the day. Your pet will get all of the love and attention. I go for a four mile walk every morning with my dog and 1.5 year old, so I would take your dog too unless otherwise specified. I have full availability unless we are out of town. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I go for multiple walks a day and have no problem walking two dogs. If your dog needs a crate I can crate them as well as long as you bring their belongings. With that said your dog must be good with other dogs as well as small children, it is a non negotiable. I have 1.5 and 4 year old kids which means you must know for sure that your dog is comfortable around small children.

About: We're recent empty nesters looking to share our love with a furry friend. Our family dog passed away recently, leaving a real hole in our hearts, and with our kids off at college, my husband and I miss having that companionship at home. I've cared for animals my whole life, most recently our family Maltipoo, who was with us for eight years. She needed a bit of extra care along the way — including knee surgery on both rear legs for a luxating patella, and extra attention after she went blind in her final year. That experience taught me a lot about patience and hands-on care, and I'd welcome a dog who needs some extra love, whether or not they come with special needs. I work from home, so your dog would never be left alone for long stretches — I have plenty of time for walks, play, and simply being present. Being we live in an area with coyotes and other wild animals, I would never leave your dog outside alone and would always have them with me on a leash including at the local park. With no kids, I will make sure there is nothing they can get into or find to chew on in the home.

Our home might be the perfect fit. We are structured, animal centered- and a lot of safety, calm and fun. We used to have 3 big dogs (Malinois, Dutch Shepherd and Mcnab Lab) but my daughter moved with her dog and our other 2shepherds passed away of old age. So now we have Toby our little dog. :) To get our dog fix we dog sit usually Fri-Sundays. My husband and I work full-time M-F. That's why we prefer Fri-Sundays. If it fits for us and your dog we can keep your dog during the week. We are gone from the house- 8am to 4:30 pm. They get a good long walk at 6:00 AM. Your dog would join my husband and I on various morning walk locations each morning with our dog Toby and then we will walk them around 5 pm each evening after they eat-usually at a local park. We have a very structured routine :) The animals stay inside our home all day. I do not leave them outside alone. I can crate train if necessary. Your dog MUST be cat friendly. I have dog friendly cats-though they hide at first :) We are super structured with a very predictable routine. We are home on the weekends and take the animals on outings- Lowes, out to breakfast/dinner, different places. Your dog is safe with us !

Cassandra and her son took such great care of Mia and sent me pictures :) I could tell from the photos Mia was really relaxed and not stressed! Cassandra has a lot of of experience with dachshunds or any other breed of dogs that you need to be careful with their backs. Mia seemed like she had a great time and got lots of snuggles and two walks!! I would definitely bring me a back to Cassandra!
Savannah was amazing! She seemed so nice upon arrival and our dog very willingly went with her when it was time for us to leave. She sent us photo updates throughout the night which was much appreciated and our dog seemed so happy. Would definitely recommend her!
