About: The reflection of a person reflects how a domesticated animal will come to be. Thoughts like these make me want to understand more of why we were put on this world. Animals make me happy. They do things so flowingly and naturally and it’s so unique because it’s so simple. They don’t want to do it, they just do it. Each dog and cat all have their quirks and differences which is why they are so special to me being that all animals are special as well. These thoughts and experiences help me into exploring more of what I want to be as a person with animals and how this could help me to become what I aspire in being and beyond. I go to the gym almost everyday about an hour and a half. I go out most of the weekends usually between 2pm to 1am. 3 adults also live in our household and they already take care of most of the pets in our household. Every single moment counts as animals are in every single moment as well since they are being. To this moment I am still learning to understand all of my pets, they all have their differences and that is what I love so much. I have be different with each one. Adapting is such a big challenge for me because it can require a vast amount of patience and effort. Sometimes things will not go the way you want it to and that’s ok. There will always be another moment to try. These thoughts and reasons are what I want to apply when I’m studying new animals and how I can gain their trust.
“I left my 4 month old mini doxie pup with Claudia for doggie daycare! It was his first time being dropped off with a stranger for the day so I was a little nervous for her sake and his! Upon arriving I was greeted by Claudia and her incredibly calm and sweet dog! I immediately felt at ease seeing her energy around him (again calm, friendly) and knew he’d okay! Claudia was great at communicating updates about our pup throughout the day and I could tell he was having a great time. I was delighted to bring him back home and have him sleep right away haha, she clearly gave him a full, fun day of attention and activities. About: I grew up with dogs, rabbits, gunnie pigs, etc. Caring for animals comes natural to me. I have dog sat a family friends dog for weeks at a time for roughly 3 years consistently. I am currently a dog mom to two male dogs who are my world. I am experienced in basic training through classes taken with both my dogs. I have a full time job working remotely. About: Hi! I'm Jon, I'm in my early 40s, and I live with my partner in a condo in Aliso Viejo, CA. (I would be the sole service provider) Until recently, my #1 hobby was spending time with my dog, Mae. I loved taking her out on nature trails and all kinds of adventures (in 2024, I even took Mae on a family road trip all the way up to Seattle and back!). After having her for 9 years in our home, I sadly lost my sweet girl in September 2025; she was about 13 years old and unfortunately had developed several unforeseen medical issues. There were a lot of long days and nights of administering medications and emergency vet visits until I made the hard decision to have her pass in comfort at home. I'm still healing from the loss: since I worked from home, Mae was my shadow all day, every day. I have used Rover for many years, but I'm easing into the other side of being a service provider. I'm not ready to get a new dog just yet, but I have a lot of love to give and I'm ready to care for your fur baby on a part-time basis. I'm currently job hunting, so my availability is close to 100% at the moment: I can sit in your home, do drop-in visits, or have your dog(s) stay with me. Weekdays are best, though I can occasionally care for your dog(s) on weekends as well. With my own dog Mae, I was feeding her twice a day, taking her on 5-6 small walks a day, and making sure her brain was stimulated throughout my work day. In my home: I live in a two-story condo with a loft. Most of the square footage is on the second floor, with a 13-step staircase from the ground floor. For older dogs or those with any hip or joint issues, I have no problem carrying them up or down the stairs. The majority of the main floor has either carpet or large, thick area rugs; the rest of the flooring is wood laminate. I have no problem letting dogs up on furniture or the bed as long as they're fairly clean (especially paws). Your dog will have full access to fresh, cold, filtered water as well as fans/air conditioning, toys and brain enrichment puzzles. I will follow your instructions on what, if any, treats they are allowed to have (and how many). In your home: you make the rules and I will follow them to the letter! I will treat your home and personal property with respect. If I have a question (and I will probably think of lots of them), I will ask you instead of assuming what the answer is. I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I have my own car, and I'd love nothing more than to stay home with your dog(s) all day.

Cassandra has a lot of of experience with dachshunds or any other breed of dogs that you need to be careful with their backs.
