Claudia was very kind and responsible with our Golden girl. We are always nervous about leaving her for the first time, but Claudia was very loving and sent photos showing how happy and relaxed she was. We came home to a happy, tired pup. Highly recommend.

Sean did well with our Sabrina! We needed a last minute booking because we had just moved from across the country and Sabrina did just fine. He even communicated that she was a bit anxious but was trying to help her calm down (not surprising because of all the changes she experienced with our move) thank you Sean! We hope to have her stay with you again!

About: My home is a "Doggie's sweet home away from home", small dogs only(up to 20lb). I’m housewife and would love to welcome some fluffy friends into my life to make each day a little brighter! Having been around dogs since childhood, I take great pride in knowing how to keep them happy and healthy. I currently have a handsome, fabulous, and loving 9-year-old miniature Poodle, whom I’ve raised with all my care and affection. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs! I can assure you that your beloved pet will feel right at home with me, enjoying the same love and attention they would with you. I offer both short-term and long-term care, adapting to whatever you need. Rest assured, I’ll keep you updated with photos and videos on my instagram so you can see just how much fun they’re having! I can take upto 3 dogs. Thank you for considering, and I can’t wait to meet your wonderful companion! Your fluffy friend will be under my watch throughout the entire day. I’m happy to walk your dog, according to your preferences. There’s a park just near my home, so I can take them there for some extra fun if you’d like!

She is years above her prime. Each day is a bonus with her. . . I work from home and available to give daily care for all our dog friends. We balanced our time with play of fetch, catch, tugs, puzzles, and cuddle times. . I care for pets with the instructions provided from pet parents. . Each dog has its own personality and words used in commands they picked up from training or from their doggy friends. Learning and understanding each dog requires lots of patience. The reward is getting their trust. .

We had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Diana and Emily to anyone looking for sitters that will care for your dogs the way you do.

ALISO VIEJO, CA, 92656

About: Hi! I'm Jon, I'm in my early 40s, and I live with my partner in a condo in Aliso Viejo, CA. (I would be the sole service provider) Until recently, my #1 hobby was spending time with my dog, Mae. I loved taking her out on nature trails and all kinds of adventures (in 2024, I even took Mae on a family road trip all the way up to Seattle and back!). After having her for 9 years in our home, I sadly lost my sweet girl in September 2025; she was about 13 years old and unfortunately had developed several unforeseen medical issues. There were a lot of long days and nights of administering medications and emergency vet visits until I made the hard decision to have her pass in comfort at home. I'm still healing from the loss: since I worked from home, Mae was my shadow all day, every day. I have used Rover for many years, but I'm easing into the other side of being a service provider. I'm not ready to get a new dog just yet, but I have a lot of love to give and I'm ready to care for your fur baby on a part-time basis. I'm currently job hunting, so my availability is close to 100% at the moment: I can sit in your home, do drop-in visits, or have your dog(s) stay with me. My condo is completely safe for dogs, my neighborhood is quiet and safe, and there are some great walking routes as well as a dog park nearby. I look forward to hearing from you! I'm currently job hunting, but have been working remotely for the past 13 years. Whatever new job I land will either be Remote or Hybrid. Weekdays are best, though I can occasionally care for your dog(s) on weekends as well. With my own dog Mae, I was feeding her twice a day, taking her on 5-6 small walks a day, and making sure her brain was stimulated throughout my work day. In my home: I live in a two-story condo with a loft. Most of the square footage is on the second floor, with a 13-step staircase from the ground floor. For older dogs or those with any hip or joint issues, I have no problem carrying them up or down the stairs. The majority of the main floor has either carpet or large, thick area rugs; the rest of the flooring is wood laminate. I have no problem letting dogs up on furniture or the bed as long as they're fairly clean (especially paws). Your dog will have full access to fresh, cold, filtered water as well as fans/air conditioning, toys and brain enrichment puzzles. I will follow your instructions on what, if any, treats they are allowed to have (and how many). In your home: you make the rules and I will follow them to the letter! I will treat your home and personal property with respect. If I have a question (and I will probably think of lots of them), I will ask you instead of assuming what the answer is. I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I have my own car, and I'd love nothing more than to stay home with your dog(s) all day.

About: What sets me apart is the depth of experience, dedication, and heart I bring to every pet I care for. With over 40 years of hands-on experience—including dogs, cats, birds, and horses—my love for animals started when I was just 10 years old. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors who trust me with everything from playful pups to beloved senior pets. I have extensive experience working with rescues and training puppies, which has taught me patience, gentleness, and how to read an animal’s unique personality and needs. I’m also very comfortable caring for senior pets, including administering medications, accommodating mobility challenges, and providing the extra TLC they need to feel safe and loved. Because I’m self-employed with a flexible schedule, your pets get my full attention—whether it’s for walks, playtime, snuggles, or quiet companionship. I also offer reliable house-sitting year-round, including during holidays, always following your instructions closely to ensure your pets are happy and at ease in their own familiar environment. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and life routine as a self-employed individual with a flexible schedule. This enables me to dedicate ample time to play and care for your beloved pets. Whether it's a regular weekday or a holiday, I'm available for house-sitting, ensuring your furry loved ones receive the attention and care they deserve at any time. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, my top priority is making sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at ease. I always keep their space clean and cozy, follow any special diets or medical instructions to the letter, and make sure their routine stays as normal as possible. I also like to keep the lines of communication open—sharing updates, photos, or anything you’d like to stay connected and worry-free. My goal is to create a warm, caring environment where your pet feels happy and right at home while you’re away.

About: Apart from always caring for my own dogs, I have loved walking my old neighbors pups as well. I am average build but strong for my size so I can handle the tugs from the bigger dogs like husky’s. I have an almost 3 month old who I stay home with so I am available for around the clock care for pups, children, or any elders who need assistance. Me and my baby would love to have your fur baby join our walks and play time! I am a stay at home mom to a very chill and quiet baby. Our days consist of his nap times, sitting on our enclosed balcony, and going on long walks. We live in a condo with a balcony that has no escape route, and a medium size patio/backyard. It does not have grass but we have a 47x32in. artificial grass mat for potty breaks. The condo has stairs as well.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Laguna Niguel

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Laguna Niguel on Rover is $42.18 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 2,846 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Laguna Niguel. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Laguna Niguel commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,846 sitters in Laguna Niguel, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
