Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. Not only did Priscilla give us frequent updates with pics and videos, she also gave us training and enrichment tips with some of the toys they had vetted with their dog Finn beforehand and got to use with Penny while she was there. About: I have been an animal lover my entire life. I got my first dog when I was eight years old, and we were inseparable. I have always been people’s go to person to watch their pets! This led to me wanting to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. I have almost 5 years of clinical experience and just completed my first year of vet school! About: Hi! I'm Jon, I'm in my early 40s, and I live with my partner in a condo in Aliso Viejo, CA. (I would be the sole service provider) Until recently, my #1 hobby was spending time with my dog, Mae. I loved taking her out on nature trails and all kinds of adventures (in 2024, I even took Mae on a family road trip all the way up to Seattle and back!). After having her for 9 years in our home, I sadly lost my sweet girl in September 2025; she was about 13 years old and unfortunately had developed several unforeseen medical issues. There were a lot of long days and nights of administering medications and emergency vet visits until I made the hard decision to have her pass in comfort at home. I'm still healing from the loss: since I worked from home, Mae was my shadow all day, every day. I have used Rover for many years, but I'm easing into the other side of being a service provider. I'm not ready to get a new dog just yet, but I have a lot of love to give and I'm ready to care for your fur baby on a part-time basis. I'm currently job hunting, so my availability is close to 100% at the moment: I can sit in your home, do drop-in visits, or have your dog(s) stay with me. My condo is completely safe for dogs, my neighborhood is quiet and safe, and there are some great walking routes as well as a dog park nearby. I look forward to hearing from you! I'm currently job hunting, but have been working remotely for the past 13 years. Whatever new job I land will either be Remote or Hybrid. Weekdays are best, though I can occasionally care for your dog(s) on weekends as well. With my own dog Mae, I was feeding her twice a day, taking her on 5-6 small walks a day, and making sure her brain was stimulated throughout my work day. In my home: I live in a two-story condo with a loft. Most of the square footage is on the second floor, with a 13-step staircase from the ground floor. For older dogs or those with any hip or joint issues, I have no problem carrying them up or down the stairs. The majority of the main floor has either carpet or large, thick area rugs; the rest of the flooring is wood laminate. I have no problem letting dogs up on furniture or the bed as long as they're fairly clean (especially paws). Your dog will have full access to fresh, cold, filtered water as well as fans/air conditioning, toys and brain enrichment puzzles. I will follow your instructions on what, if any, treats they are allowed to have (and how many). In your home: you make the rules and I will follow them to the letter! I will treat your home and personal property with respect. If I have a question (and I will probably think of lots of them), I will ask you instead of assuming what the answer is. I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I have my own car, and I'd love nothing more than to stay home with your dog(s) all day.

About: 3 bedroom single family home with gated yard. We are a dog family with very little boundaries. Couches, cars, and beds are all fair game. Moose is our 6 year old chocolate lab who spends the day playing, sleeping, and watching the neighborhood from the front porch. He often has four legged friends come stay with us when their parents go out of town. He enjoys it so much our family decided to open up our home to other dogs in need of a loving place to vacation. Open and usually clean house with decent size back yard. Your pup will have plenty of attention from all the neighborhood kids that frequent our home. I am a Firefighter and generally have 4 days off every week so I’m available for walks in the local area. My wife is a teacher M-F. Sleepover dogs have access to a gated back yard with plenty of room to run around and a flat dirt area for them to do their business. Plenty of couch, dog beds, and human beds for them to choose from. Room for a crate if that is more comfortable for them. We are near the Doheny beach trail which is our usually run/walk route. We sometimes hit the dog park off Stonehill. Depending on how active our visitors are I’ve taken them on 3-6 mile runs or hikes. Basically the dogs go where we go.

About: I’m highly reliable and flexible. I can meet the needs of you pet and will give them the attention they require. I’m a stay at home mom and I would enjoy the presence of your pet to help me stay productive. The number of walks per day will depend on your location. I’m able to dog sit up to 5-7 days a week. Over night stays would be discussed depending if your pet sleeps indoor or outdoors. It is very possible at my home but I would like to know any important details about your pet I should know about when going to bed. I prefer for your pet to be child friendly as well. “My wife and I booked with Banafshe for a long weekend trip, after our go-to dog sitter was unavailable. We are happy we did. Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. We would trust her and her family with our furbaby again and I highly recommend. 🥰”

This was our first time leaving her for such a long time -- while Penny is a sweetheart, she can also be a handful because of her youthful exuberance. Priscilla (along with husband and kids) left us feeling so assured that Penny was thoroughly loved during our time away. Not only did Priscilla give us frequent updates with pics and videos, she also gave us training and enrichment tips with some of the toys they had vetted with their dog Finn beforehand and got to use with Penny while she was there.
