About: My love for pets stemmed from a young age. I grew up owning many dogs and I now currently own a handsome cane corso who I rescued. I had been a Vet assistant for a little more than 3 years, working with all kinds of dogs and cats from various ages. I also have plenty of experience with pets who may need a special diet, medication, or routine ! Unfortunately, I had to say goodbye to my vet assistant job not too long ago due to me leaving for the military. I’m available whenever and anytime as I am always free now. Needed something more flexible for the time i’m still here ! I have pet sit for clients in their home before, many clients from my last hospital would need pet sitters and my team and I always would lend a hand. About: I’m Lani! 🐾 A lifelong dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities! I grew up with dogs and have regularly cared for my family, friends, and neighbors’ dogs, including huskies, french bulldogs, english bulldogs, pit bulls, dachshunds, corgis, an aussiedoodle, and my clumsy loving bernedoodle. My approach to pet care is all about positive reinforcement. More than anything, I want your pup to feel safe and happy while you’re away. My schedule fluctuates, I’m a freelance artist, and a lot of my work takes me abroad. However, when I am home my schedule is open for Rover services. About: I've been helping my Aunts Dog Rescue Organization Doggie Bonez since the age of 10. I've grown up around all kinds of dogs from Cane Corsos and pit bulls to pugs and small dogs. I've been around dogs with different conditions and mannerisms and I feel very well equipped to take care of them and walk them. I love being around dogs and would love to help where I can. I volunteer on Sundays in San Juan Capistrano at the Doggie Bonez adoption events which consists of me watching over all the dogs feeding, walking, and monitoring them from 11am-3pm. I will also transport animals for the event and watch over dogs who are in. Foster homes when the owner needs help. I will be with the dogs or puppy for as long as I can and play with them, feed them, and clean up after them. I try to give them as much love as I can with the time I have with them.

I would highly recommend Joseph. He’s a natural with our babies and his calm demeanor is helpful for them because our little bulldog can get feisty with other dogs while on leash. Physical strength was a big deal for us as we have a 60-lb Pit/Staffy mix, and a mini (40lb) bulldog & he walks them at the same time, with ease. We’re grateful we found Joseph!

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
