About: Hello! We are a couple living in south OC. Having both grown up with dogs our entire lives, we both have a sense of purpose in caring for pets. We have raised both small dogs like Shih-tzus to big dogs like Australian Shepherds and Golden Retrievers. Now offering petsitting and care for various ages, sizes, and breeds. We currently have a high energy dog and are used to the exercise and care they require, so rest assured your dog will be satisfied! My girlfriend works from home so she would be doing most of the walks and dog parks visits. I am free on weekends. We can arrange anything from simple walks to hikes. DM us to schedule! We currently have a 2.5 year old Australian Shepherd Meeko, who loves to play and is well-socialized. Our apartment complex has a small private park area but we take him to various fenced-in dog parks during the week to ensure he has enough playtime and exercise. On the weekends we sometimes take him on an hike or go to the beach. Our dogs will have a great time being new friends if that is what you wish! We can also do separate walks if that’s what you prefer.

About: I have fostered multiple dogs and love to take care of dogs! I also had a dog for many years. I enjoy walking, playing, and being around dogs! I am currently doing online school, so I have a lot of availability throughout my week to walk dogs or drop in and take care of them! I will always make sure your dog is safely taken care of throughout our walks or when coming in and taking care of the dogs!
“My dogs love Melody! They were so excited when she came back for a walk the next day. Melody is communicative, punctual, and clearly enjoyed my dogs. Will be rebooking with her in the future.”

About: Hi! I’ve had a deep love for animals for as long as I can remember. I even thought about becoming a vet, but my heart wasn’t built for the tough stuff. I’d probably cry right alongside the owners. I’ve been around pets my whole life and currently have a dog and two rescue cats. They’re bonded brothers and pretty much run the house. I’m definitely that person who notices the dog before the human every single time. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, from tiny to large breeds, and I always do my best to make sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at ease. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk to get their zoomies out, or an overnight stay, I’ll follow your pet’s routine like it’s my own. My goal is to make your pets feel like you never left and to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I don’t just watch pets. I bond with them. You’ll get updates, love, and someone who truly cares Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I already care for my own pets daily. I enjoy spending time with animals and easily work visits or walks into my flexible schedule. In my home or my client’s, I create a calm, safe environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for. I stick to their routine, respect any rules or preferences, and always prioritize their well-being, comfort, and trust.

“This is our second time using Jackie to walk our dogs when we're visiting Laguna Niguel on vacation. We appreciate her great communication before and after each walk. She was also very flexible when we had to change our plan to a different day due to weather. Highly recommend!”

About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always had at least one furry friend in my house (dogs and cats). I’ve also dog sat for friends and family over the course of my life. I am currently working part-time 25hrs per week 5-hour shifts and am typically off at around 10pm. Therefore, I have plenty of time to spend with your furry friends before and after when I do work. More than happy to spend the night taking care of your pet(s) as well. Message me for more accurate details pertaining to my schedule as it can vary from week to week. I have a fenced yard, and can crate your dog(s) if needed. I would provide your pets with all the love they can ask for as well as physical stimulation through walks and playtime with pet toys. If applicable, I am also happy to take your pet to a dog friendly park or beach if that is something that would interest you (and your furry friend[s].)

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Laguna Niguel
I need a walker for my dog at the last minute and reached out to Yeji. She was quick to respond and we scheduled a meet and greet the same day. I could tell my dog would be well taken care of with her. Yeji did all I asked and provided a very detailed Rover card which I appreciated. Thank you, Yeji!

Austin was easy to communicate with, friendly, go-with-the-flow, on time, and very trustworthy. My mother in law felt very comfortable with him and our dogs appreciated his willingness to take them on familiar walking paths. Would definitely recommend and rehire.

Jonathan helped us with dog walks for over a week. Our dogs are picky and take a while to warm up (they are Shiba Inus), but they really seemed to like Jonathan immediately. He was extra communicative and sent great videos, photos and updates. Absolutely would hire Jonathan again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
