About: Hi! My name is Gayane, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently share my home with two wonderful rescue cats, and throughout my life I have cared for both cats and dogs of all ages and personalities. Beyond caring for my own pets, I have experience fostering, rehabilitating, and helping homeless and abandoned animals find safe and loving homes. I understand that every pet is unique and deserves patience, kindness, and individual attention. About: I’ve worked at Wags and Wiggles daycare/boarding and cared for my own dog through her seniorhood. I’ve puppy sat for lots of friends and family members as well as having Dog Dates when those same people just need a moment! I’m a part-time and gig worker so I have plenty of time to give your pups the love and care they deserve! Additionally, I work from home often enabling me to be hands on and attentive to all specific pet needs. My flexible schedule allows me to cater to YOUR dogs needs. I live right next door to a dog park and incorporate long walks into my every day, making me compatible with a more social dog. About: Hi! I’m a recent magna cum laude graduate of Oregon State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a focus in Crime & Justice, along with minors in Criminology and Political Science. During nearly three years of college, I worked at a coffee shop located inside OSU’s veterinary hospital, which was such a unique and rewarding experience. I loved being surrounded by animals every day and interacting with students and staff who shared that same passion. I learned a lot about animal safety, got plenty of time with pups, and was always happy to hand out a free pup cup (when diet-approved, of course!). My love for dogs started very early. I grew up with my rescue dog Bruce, a Black Lab/Chow mix, from the time I was six years old and he was a pup until he passed at 15 and a half years old last May. He was truly my best friend and a huge part of my life—I spent years walking him, playing fetch, and caring for him full-time. In 2022, my family adopted another rescue, Phoebe, who came from a traumatic background and needed a lot of patience, structure, and care. I was heavily involved in her training process—from potty training and leash work to helping her adjust to a safe, loving home. It was a learning experience that required consistency and compassion, and it was incredibly rewarding to watch her grow into the calm, happy, and well-behaved dog she is today. She now loves walks, hikes, and being around people and other dogs. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I frequently volunteered with and donated to a local humane society in Corvallis during college. Through their “Doggy Day Out” program, I would take shelter dogs out for the day—whether that meant walks at the park, pup cups, or simply relaxing at home with plenty of cuddles. I always tailored each outing to the dog’s energy level, age, and personality, making sure they felt safe, comfortable, and loved outside of the shelter environment. I’ve also cared for dogs outside my home, including helping raise and train a puppy for a close friend—handling walks, feeding, drop-ins, and daily routines while building good habits from the start. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love working with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and backgrounds. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a senior dog who needs a gentler pace, I’m committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m currently home for the summer in San Clemente and Rancho Santa Margarita through July 28, and will return again starting September 1. During these times, I have full availability and a very flexible schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all routines—feeding, walks, medications, and preferences—so your dog feels as normal and stress-free as possible. I’m very attentive to behavior and body language, especially with dogs who may be anxious or still adjusting. I take precautions on walks, keep environments secure, and always prioritize safety. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I am Animal Care Certified. I can take care of birds, cats, lizards and dogs. I take care of animals daily. I feed and play with them everyday. If I’m needed to help with the pets, I need a full day’s notice for transportation needs. I care for the animals in my household by having set feeding times and lots of cuddles. With the dogs, I make sure we get lots of playtime.
