“Amazing! My fear reactive dog, Toby, loves Kianna so much and my Cassie is the same! They are sad for hours after she leaves and look for her each day. Just amazing how quickly they took to her! She is a new member of our pack!”

“I needed a dog walker for a few days while I was out of town and once I met Gabby I knew she'd be a great fit for my dog Rafa. She is on time, has prompt communication, and takes the time to ask all the right questions so she's informed about your dog. Highly recommend her and I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Michele is our go to dog walker! She takes great care of Lucy and helps us feed her dinner and leave lights on after dark. Michele also takes a lot of photos of Lucy so we know she's doing well.”

“The Doodles and I really enjoyed our time with Vy. I walked with her the first time as the feeding and walking can be complicated. And Charlie is a puppy and can be a challenge. Looking forward to the next dog walking session.”

About: My whole life I’ve always had a passion for animals and taking care of them would be a dream to me. Pets light up my world and inspire me with their unique personalities. I am available to work around schedules and am free to work whenever as of now. Preferably any time after 10 am will work best for me. I am also available on weekends. I always show animals love and affection and make sure their needs are met. I am good at knowing what they need and picking up on their signs.
“Bradey was very responsive to my questions, easy to communicate with. Sent great pics and updates of our pets, 3 yo Lab/Pitt mix & middle aged cat. Took our dog on 30 minute walks AM/PM and tracked each time. Bradey offered to meet us before we left town to make sure she was a good fit. We will be using her services again on our next trip out of town.”

“Ariana has been an absolute blessing for our dog, Sonya! She’s reliable, caring, and treats Sonya like her own. Every walk is filled with patience, attention, and genuine love—you can tell Sonya is always happy and well-exercised when she gets home. Ariana also communicates so well, keeping us updated and making us feel at ease knowing Sonya is in such good hands. We’re so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and wonderful dog walker!”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from young puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I currently have two senior pugs, ages 16 and 13, so I understand the patience, attention, and consistency that older dogs often require. Through my volunteer work with Pug Rescue of Korea, I have fostered more than 10 dogs, including senior dogs, arthritic dogs, and a semi-blind dog. I've also fostered five puppies and understand the extra supervision, structure, and positive reinforcement that young dogs need. One thing adopters and rescue coordinators consistently appreciate about me is my communication. I provide regular updates, photos, and notes so pet parents always know how their dog is doing. An adopter once described me as "extraordinarily communicative" and said the updates helped make her dog's transition into its new home seamless. I treat every dog as an individual and adjust my care to their personality, energy level, and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, prefers a slower pace, or simply enjoys extra attention and companionship, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible weekday schedule that allows me to dedicate time and attention to pet care. As a small business owner, I manage my own hours and have the availability to provide reliable walks and check-ins throughout the week. Dogs are already a big part of my daily life. I care for my two senior pugs and continue to volunteer and foster through rescue organizations for several years. I enjoy spending time with dogs, getting outside, and helping them stay active and happy. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday and look forward to getting to know your pet. Safety, reliability, and communication are my top priorities. As a dog owner, foster volunteer, and rescue volunteer, I understand that every dog has different needs, energy levels, and routines. During walks and drop-in visits, I carefully follow each owner's instructions and pay close attention to leash safety, hydration, and each dog's comfort level. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, arthritic dogs, and a semi-blind dog, so I'm comfortable adapting to different needs and walking paces. I also respect my clients' homes and strive to be dependable, professional, and attentive. I'll provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.
About: I’ve had pets of my own since I was a little girl and have always treated them with the love and respect that they deserve. I’ve raised a puppy of my own during COVID which was humbling but extremely rewarding as he is truly the best boy and now my best friend. I’ve been around dogs of all ages all my life and understand that each dog is different, each with their own personality, just like us humans. I have the patience it takes to understand dogs and know that it’s not always easy for them to express themselves, body language being a huge thing I look at. Owning an orange tabbycat of my own, I also have experience with understanding a cat’s needs and although they can be more skiddish, they seek and deserve just as much care and attention. I hope I have the opportunity to help you to take care of your pet in whatever way I can, and trust that they are under my safe and full supervision. I’m currently working full time but am available and eager to help you with your pets on afternoons, nights and weekends. Whatever your pet’s needs are, I’m happy to help. I live in Lake Forest and work full time in Mission Viejo, so I am willing to go anywhere in the South OC area to care for your fur babies! I have a small dog and cat of my own at home, so I can understand how much caution goes into owning and taking care of a pet. My priority is making pets feel comfortable and safe in a place where they can both have fun and relax, because we all deserve to feel that peace at home. As a pet parent, I always check that risky items are stored away so that there’s less room for error, that there’s always access to food and water (unless instructed otherwise of course!) and that fun toys are in reach!
About: I love animals very much and I’ve had various pets ever since I was little. I genuinely love to care for each pet I meet and am always attentive to whatever they need. I’ve also dogsat and catsat for pet owners, neighbors, friends, and family before. Im excited to walk dogs because that means im keeping dogs healthy as well as myself! I’m a part time college student but I take my classes online, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your lovely pets! I am free each day of the week and weekends. When I’m in a client’s home I always make sure I follow every instruction and am very respectful of their expectations and pet’s unique needs.
About: Go out in peace knowing that your babies are well taken caren of. My house is their new house no need to worry when with me. Will take care of them, play with them, cuddle with them and give them lots of love Currently working part time three days a week and available most days and weekends. Let me know in advance of your days neeeded to watch I have a fenced yard with doggy door so dogs will be able to enter and leave and be able to sun bath, get in their walks and have time to rest and cuddle

I’ve been dog sitting for about 10 years now and have a lot of experience training, walking, and raising dogs. I can be active with your pup or just lay around and give belly rubs. I understand that in order to have a happy, healthy pup everything from what they are eating to where they sleep is important. I’m very familiar with and have done extensive research on dog nutrition and how to interpret and act on dog behaviors so you know I’ll be prepared to care for your dog. Whatever your dog needs, I will be happy to do!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lake Forest
Great dog walker. I wasn’t sure how my dog would do but she looked so happy when she was back from her walk. Maggie was super nice, friendly and excited. You can tell how much she enjoys walking the dogs. Loved her energy since my little one can be nutty sometimes. Already rebooking with her. Also she took some great photos during the walk. I would recommend her.
Angela knows how to put a dog at ease. This was her first time walking Brownie, who’s anxious and distrustful, she approached him gently and offer treats, a pro move that calmed Brownie. She knows how to handle a dog on a leash. My dog can react to strangers, including humans, and she handled him very well when we encountered other dogs on the walk. I highly recommend Angela for dog walking.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
