Pet care experience

FULL TIME AVAILABILITY :)

Hi there, I’m Maggie, and I’ve spent more than 25 years caring for animals of every temperament, size, and personality. I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s quirks and routines, and I take pride in creating a calm, dependable experience for both pets and their humans. If you’re looking for someone seasoned, steady, and genuinely animal-obsessed, you’re in the right place. I’m around full-time for walks, potty breaks, meals, meds, snuggle sessions, playtime, and pretty much anything else your furry friend demands. Need me last-minute? I got you. Life happens, and pets don’t exactly check calendars. I have extensive experience with anxious pets, seniors, and those with special needs, and I’m very comfortable providing extra support when needed. My specialization is more with shy dogs as opposed to pups who might react aggressively to me coming into their space. I safely handle dogs who pull on leash and am confident with administering oral and injected medications. For walks, I follow a wildlife-aware safety approach, including thoughtful route selection, short secure leash control, and calm handling if wildlife is ever observed - prioritizing prevention and awareness rather than escalation. I’m certified in cat and dog first aid and CPR through the American Red Cross, and all services are backed by PCI Pet Care Insurance, so you can relax knowing your pet is in capable, caring hands. WALKS: Perfect for dogs who need regular exercise, structure, or just a good stretch and sniff around the neighborhood. Your dog gets a dedicated walk for the majority of the visit, tailored to their pace and energy level. I focus on safe handling, positive reinforcement, and making sure they come home calmer, happier, and fulfilled. Great for busy days, long work shifts, or pups who simply thrive on routine. DROP-INS: These visits cover everyday pet care while you're away, whether you’re at work, out for the day, or traveling. Each visit is customized to what your pet needs in the moment. This can include short walks, potty breaks, fresh water, meals, medication support, litter box care, and tidying up small messes. I also build in time for companionship and play (anything from throwing a favorite toy to sitting quietly with those who just need a calming presence).

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in their own home where they feel most comfortable and secure. I follow each pet’s routine closely, so their day feels as normal as possible while you’re away. I also treat your home with respect and keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and cared for.

Maggie is sincerely the best!! Better than my friends and family, better than anyone who ever walked my silly princess pulls a lot. The best. She’s caring, thoughtful, communicative, aware and experienced.

Charlie and pepper had a great walk! They were super mellow for the rest of the day. Appreciate the last minute change and adjustment based on weather.

Maggie was a last minute find for originally a two day but accommodated for a three day instead. Very flexible and does very well with our frenchie and cavapoo. Special needs dogs and I was not worried at all when Maggie was there to see the pups, feed and even apply medicines (topical and injection!) We found an amazing one.

Maggie was fantastic! We did a meet & greet and knew my cats would be in good hands with her right away! She was attentive and reliable throughout the whole sitting process and sent daily updates and photos for after every visit 😊 Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a sitter in the area!
