Brady absolutely loves his walks with Jay! He looks so happy when he gets picked up, his tail wags away as they go for walks. My pooch is a "hard walker", he pulls & and at times he has reactivity issues towards other dogs, but Jay seems to know how to handle him. They definitely have a connection! Jay also has an easy going personality & he's been trust worthy regarding the schedule. Super happy to have discovered Jay as Brady's dog walker!🐾😊

About: I have had dogs all my life and have been caring for them longer than I can remember. I’m patient, gentle, caring and communicative. Ever since I was little, I would walk and bathe neighbors dogs, purely for simple enjoyment. I have trained all three of my own dogs and they are very docile and well-behaved. I’m very affectionate towards animals and have a deep love for them, and would treat your dog as if they were my own. I am a college student, so I do still have school as a priority, however I also do have an attentive family who can help out whenever needed as well, but I am usually available and when caring for a dog, I never leave them unattended for more than 2 hours and make time to care properly for them. If caring for a pet in my home, they will be free to roam downstairs and in the backyard. We have a secure fence and a doggy door, however I also would let them outside and play with them or take them to our local dog park if they get along with other dogs. If I was caring for a dog in the owners home, I would run through their usual daily routine after communicating with the owner.

I have experience with puppies and seniors, as well as dogs and cats with special medications/diets and behavioral issues. About: have been around animals my entire life and have a lot of hands-on experience caring for them. Growing up, my family had three rescue dogs that I helped raise and care for while my parents were busy with work. Watching them grow into perfect, well-behaved family pets has been incredibly amazing to watch. In college, I help care for two cats and two guinea pigs, and this past school year I also pet sat for my neighbor’s two dogs. Being around animals has always been one of my favorite parts of the day. No matter how busy I am, coming home to pets instantly makes my day 100x better!! I genuinely love spending time with animals, making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved, and treating them with the same care and attention I would give my own pets. Pet care fits very great into my schedule. I recently started a part-time job, but my hours are flexible and it will not take away much of my availability during the week. I enjoy spending time with animals before and after work, and I am happy to work pet care into my daily routine. As a college student home for the summer, I have a fairly open schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pets. The only dates I am unavailable are June 27–28, when I will be out of town for the weekend, and July 1–6, when I will be attending a family wedding. Outside of those dates, I am available and excited to provide reliable and wonderful care for your doggos! 🐾 My top priorities are safety, comfort, and making sure each pet feels loved and secure.! I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I do my best to keep their schedule as consistent as possible. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, exercise needs, medications, and any special requests from owners. I also make sure pets always have access to fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention and affection. I also treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own. I know how important trust is when leaving a pet in someone else’s care, so I make communication a top priority and am happy to provide updates, photos, and check-ins while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, confident, and stress-free throughout the entire experience. 😄

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little kid, I was always watching my neighbors pets. Since then I was a dog dad to a German Shepard/Rottweiler mix. I currently walk dogs on the WAG! app as well and have 18 five star reviews. Pet care fits into my daily routine very well. I am a full time photographer and create a schedule to fit my photography and pet care. I treat all pets as if they are my pet. I love to give pets and scratches but will make sure the pet is healthy and well taken care of. During the walk I make sure to have water and check in with the dog to make sure they aren’t too hot or tired.

About: Hi there! I bring years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs including my own husky and several senior pups requiring medical support and vet visits. Over my lifetime, I’ve owned and loved five dogs, and I understand the importance of treating every pet like family. Beyond pet care, I’ve been entrusted to look after luxury homes in Coto de Caza, Dove Canyon, Ladera Ranch, Irvine, and Newport. For over four years, I managed weekly household needs to coordinating with maids, landscapers, pool services, and more. I’ve cared for estates valued at $1-10 million, always leaving them spotless and secure. Whether it’s keeping up with energetic huskies, tending to senior dogs with extra care, or making sure your home is in perfect order, you can count on me to handle it all with reliability and professionalism. Rest assured I’ve got you (and your pets) covered. I’m available most days and love spending my time with pets. My own husky enjoys running 1-2 times a day, so staying active is already part of my routine. At home, I also care for two cats, so I’m comfortable balancing different personalities and needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve learned how to build trust quickly—even the shyest cats seem to warm up to me. I provide a safe, caring, and consistent environment where pets feel secure and loved.

About: I have had three dogs in my lifetime all of different sizes and breeds. I absolutely love spending time with dogs, currently do not have one (just not the right time for me). I have walked my friends dogs for them when they could not make it home and they always are so excited to see me. They bring me so much joy to be around. I am currently not working so I am available any time. If things change I will update my schedule accordingly to what I am able to accommodate. I am not able to have pets in my home at the current moment and I can really only do walks and drop in services currently. I am a very trustworthy person and I treat customers dogs like they are my own and also the customers home as well. If given a key or access I make sure that all doors that I have opened are closed and locked just like it was my home. I have worked in jobs that I have had to have many background checks and also I have been a security guard as well so when I say I am trustworthy I really do mean it.

10/10! This was my first experience with rover and Lainie was awesome! I reached out pretty last minute, she got back to me immediately! I really appreciated that she proactively let me know she wouldn’t be available until about 15 minutes after one of my requested times and checked to make sure that was okay before confirming through the app. Even a longer delay wouldn’t have mattered, as long as my dog received love and attention, but her communication and professionalism truly stood out.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
