About: Hi! I’m Julie, a lifelong dog lover who understands that pets are family. I’ve cared for my own dogs and know how important it is to keep them happy, safe, and on their normal routine. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing, or relaxing together, I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention and affection. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup feels comfortable and loved. I currently work full time but with a hybrid schedule and open weekends. I am pretty free when I work from home to walk every hour if need be. I have a fenced yard and whole house so there is no need to worry about other neighbors or outside dogs. They will be safe with their own boundary!

Another great visit with Parnian! She was extra patient with my crazy girl and gave her the perfect break in the middle of my long work day. Super grateful, Parnian was even able to manage the rainy weather AND get my crazy girl back in the crate at the end of their visit!

I can’t say enough great things about David! He is patient, reliable, kind, and truly goes above and beyond. Our foster dog Lady is a very large, hyper terrier mix with little structure or social skills, and she can be overwhelming for most people. David has never been intimidated by her and always shows up with a smile, ready to give her the best care. Lady absolutely adores him — even when she gets overly excited and jumps all over him, he handles it like a total pro. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my pets are in such loving, capable hands. We will absolutely continue using David for Lady and any future foster dogs!

About: I have worked as a vet assistant for 3 years with 15+ years of animal care experience. Experienced with dogs, cats, horses, and farm animals. Comfortable administering medications, injections, and providing specialized care. As a lifelong animal owner, I treat every pet like family and strive to provide dependable, loving care you can trust. 🐾 I am currently an online Clinical Psychology student and work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. Because I spend most of my time at home, I can accommodate pet sitting, drop-in visits, walks, feeding schedules, medication administration, and plenty of playtime, companionship, and supervision. As a veterinary assistant with extensive experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, and other animals, your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring health concerns, and following detailed care instructions. Whether in my home or yours, I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment with plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection to help pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs of all ages my whole life, and have extensive experience in plenty of different scenarios. I helped train my dog when she was a puppy, I’m responsible for bathing her, feeding her, picking up her poop, walking her, and more - all the responsibilities of owning a pet. I am also the go-to dog sitter for my friends, family, and colleagues, as I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and do a great job at it. I have experience dog sitting for senior dogs, dogs with special accommodations, dogs who need medication, puppies, hyperactive dogs, standoffish dogs, pretty much every dog under the sun. I have no problems with any situation and can handle anything thrown my way! I have a very flexible part-time job where I can pick my hours, so pet care fits anywhere into my weekly routine where I may choose it. I tend to go above and beyond when pet sitting in the sense that I spend most of my time with the animals, so complete attention and pet care won’t be a problem. I could only care for pets in the client’s home, as my own dog stays at my house and is a solo act, but in a client’s home I would care for pets as if they were my own. I would expect to have access to resources I’d need to properly care for the pets, but I could also bring anything of my own if needed. I am determined to create and maintain a comfortable, safe, and loving environment for any pets that I’d be lucky enough to watch over.

About: Hi! I'm Debbie, and caring for animals has been my passion for most of my life. I began volunteering at a veterinary hospital as a teenager and was hired at just 16 years old. I pursued veterinary technology, passed the California Registered Veterinary Technician state board examination in 2011, and have spent nearly two decades working in small animal veterinary medicine. While I no longer maintain an active RVT license, I continue working in the veterinary field and use the knowledge and experience I've gained over the years every day. My background includes caring for puppies and kittens, healthy adult pets, senior pets, and animals with chronic medical conditions. I'm experienced with administering oral medications, eye and ear medications, injections, sub-q fluids, topical treatments, and providing attentive care to pets that need a little extra support. Animals have always been a huge part of my life beyond my career. I'm a proud Mom, wife, dog owner and chicken keeper, and I also have experience caring for parrots and other companion birds. I enjoy grooming my own dogs and have experience with routine grooming, including bathing, brushing, nail trims, and styling. In addition to companion animals, I'm comfortable caring for backyard flocks and many ranch and farm animals, understanding that each species has its own unique routines and needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your animals are safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I strive to keep pets comfortable, maintain their routines, and provide plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your furry (and feathered!) family members are in caring, experienced hands. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, medication, companionship, or care for your backyard flock or small farm, I'd be honored to care for them as if they were my own. Between being a Mom to older children/wife/part-time vet tech, my schedule allows me to fit in jobs to care for other's pets while they are going out of town for the day or longer. I will honor and follow your instructions to care for your pets as you wish. I also am big on sending pics via text with pupdates and for you to see that all is well.

About: Hi, I'm Evan! With nearly a decade of pet care experience and boundless enthusiasm for animals, I'm your go-to walker and sitter. After graduating college, I found joy in providing reliable and considerate care for pets of all sizes and personalities. I recently reached a milestone of 1500 five-star reviews on a popular dog walking app! It's hard to find someone trustworthy who can understand your fur baby's unique needs. Rest assured, your pet's wellbeing is safe with me! I'm known to keep tails wagging! 😁 As a full time provider, I'm very fortunate to able to fill my weekdays with walks and sittings. My weekend availability is more limited, but still feel free to ask! When I care for pets in clients' homes, I prefer having lots of information. Please tell me everything there is to know about your fur baby, so that I can help them be most comfortable. Such as... -their daily food and sleep schedule -toys and treats -favorite rituals -training commands and walking etiquette -any triggers or off-limits areas

About: Hi! I have taken care of dogs almost my entire life. I got my first dog when I was 12 and from there on out I have always had at least one. I have always pet sit for family and friends when needed and now I’m looking forward to expanding my services to others. I live in a home and have a fenced in yard. I am used to giving medications if needed and can also care for senior dogs (I have one myself!) I also have a backyard where they can run around whenever they want. I usually leave the door cracked for easy in/out access and I have a fully fenced in yard I have a fenced in yard and do frequent potty breaks! Throughout the day, dogs are supervised and let out into the backyard every 2–3 hours for potty breaks, playtime, and fresh air. I love providing lots of love and attention through backyard playtime, calm indoor and outdoor activities, head scratches, and belly rubs. Mealtimes are always kept consistent with your dog’s regular routine. I’m home most of the day and only step out occasionally for Rover walks, drop-in visits, or quick errands. During those times, dogs at home are supervised by my husband. Evenings are all about winding down with a walk to the park, dinner, final potty breaks, and calm relaxation before settling in comfortably for the night. You’ll receive photo and video updates each day, so you never miss a moment of your pup’s stay. 😊 Group Size & Temperaments It’s always nice to make new friends! I keep boarding and daycare groups small, usually four dogs or fewer at a time. Each group is thoughtfully booked based on size, energy level, and personality to provided a positive experience for everyone. It’s a wonderful way for your pup to meet new friends in a calm, supervised environment. 🛡️ Safety First Your pup’s safety is my top priority. I ’m trained in American Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid. I’ve also completed my hands on trading and received my Pet Tech CPR & First Aid Certification, 2026 All walks are always leashed, we avoid interactions with other dogs, and our home is fully secured with locked gates, a two-layer front door, and in/outdoor security. Backyard play, sun bathing and potty breaks are always supervised.

About: I’ve had pets of my own since I was a little girl and have always treated them with the love and respect that they deserve. I’ve raised a puppy of my own during COVID which was humbling but extremely rewarding as he is truly the best boy and now my best friend. I’ve been around dogs of all ages all my life and understand that each dog is different, each with their own personality, just like us humans. I have the patience it takes to understand dogs and know that it’s not always easy for them to express themselves, body language being a huge thing I look at. Owning an orange tabbycat of my own, I also have experience with understanding a cat’s needs and although they can be more skiddish, they seek and deserve just as much care and attention. I hope I have the opportunity to help you to take care of your pet in whatever way I can, and trust that they are under my safe and full supervision. I’m currently working full time but am available and eager to help you with your pets on afternoons, nights and weekends. Whatever your pet’s needs are, I’m happy to help. I live in Lake Forest and work full time in Mission Viejo, so I am willing to go anywhere in the South OC area to care for your fur babies! I have a small dog and cat of my own at home, so I can understand how much caution goes into owning and taking care of a pet. My priority is making pets feel comfortable and safe in a place where they can both have fun and relax, because we all deserve to feel that peace at home. As a pet parent, I always check that risky items are stored away so that there’s less room for error, that there’s always access to food and water (unless instructed otherwise of course!) and that fun toys are in reach!

Saeedeh (Lili) is amazing with Jasmine! Lili loves her as if she was her own dog, and Jasmine gets so excited when she sees her. I especially appreciate Lili’s rapid and consistent communication to make plans as well as sending all the videos and pictures. It makes me feel better when I am traveling or out of town knowing that Lili is watching Jazmine and that she is being well cared for. That peace of mind is priceless.

I highly recommend Gabriella!! She arrived right on time and was incredibly sweet from the moment she walked in. It’s always a relief to see your dog instantly warm up to someone, and it’s clear she has a natural gift with animals. My pup responded so well to her and came back happy and relaxed. I will absolutely be booking her again!

Chris has been amazing! We have a strong high energy Belgian Malinois who we needed an experienced walker to exercise. Chris was able to take immediate control over him and does a great job tiring him out. He takes Cono’s experience seriously, provides feedback and recommendations and most importantly Cono loves going with him. We are so thankful to have found Chris!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Laguna Hills. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Laguna Hills. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
