About: My name is Alec, and I do a lot of things, mostly here in South OC :) Many people know me as a local performer and teacher. I have also enjoyed house sitting and pet sitting, for many years. I understand the importance of and have experience with administering medication (such as insulin), giving your pets their normal amount of food and the water of your choice, having litter boxes as fresh as possible when you return home, and giving your fur family as much normalcy as possible while you are away. I also understand the need to feel safe and secure about your home and/or your furry family members, while away. I have lived with and cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, bunnies, and bats (my favorite comic character might have influenced that last bit). As a full time single father of a toddler, I usually have a very flexible schedule, so I'm able to be away from home as needed, and check in on pets if necessary, during the day. My son goes everywhere with me, so I only take on clients with dogs who are safe around small children, and breeds that are not notorious for doing a lot of damage when aggressive, even though I know that some of those breeds, when raised right, can be total sweethearts. I love animals, love people, and love work that involves filling someone's need. Day to day life for me over the years has included a variety of things, all involving people...I was a Swing band leader, Ballroom and Tap dance teacher, actor, massage, concert producer, and I have worked as a naturalist for grammar school field trips at the Donna O'Neill Land Conservancy, and taught children chess through a local after-school program. I have had a live scan/background check, and can provide many client/character references :) As a full-time father of a toddler, my schedule is pretty open and flexible, aside from pet sitting bookings, and occasional teaching of ballroom/social dance in private lessons around OC. I mainly do overnights for clients, providing more attention to your fur family than drop-in visits can offer, and more security for your home. Day visits can be available as needed, for an additional fee. I am generally gone in the daytime, tending to the needs of my toddler and our own pets at home. For overnights, I arrive in the evening, and leave in the morning or early afternoon. I am usually present for 12 hours or more, providing lots of company and attention to your fur family.

About: I have had and taken care of all kinds of animals almost my entire life. I have taken care of all of my dogs and cats from when they were puppies and kittens to when they have reached their elderly years, thus providing me with all life stage experience. I have experience administering liquid oral medication. Litter boxes could never scare me away and i understand the picky kitties who need a good deep clean on their litter box (my cats are quite picky as well). I have raised/taken care of all kinds of dogs from border collie's to maltipoo's and I love them all the same. I absolutely adore animals and my goal is to provide care and love to your animals while you're away. I do currently work full time but with reasonable hours. During the week I am available in the morning from 6am-7am and then in the evening from 4:30pm to 8pm. On weekends I am available all day. For drop in visits: I will arrive at your home and start by checking on each animal. Provide fresh food and water as per the feeding schedule you have provided and then spend time with each animal in whatever they prefer (example: if they prefer more cuddles than play time we can focus on that or do a little of both) Once all animals have been sufficiently loved up and all their needs are met I will check in with you and let you know how they are doing.

About: I am a big animal lover! I currently take care of 2 dogs, horses, and chickens. I have been in the animal care industry for more than 20 years. Whether it is a short walk, pets or freshening up water bowls, I see each visit as a time to dote and enjoy the fur ball while their mom or dad is away! I am free and flexible for planned walks, weekend sitting, and drop-ins, as needed. I can take last-minute walks, feedings, or potty breaks with a 45 minute turn around during the week. I check my phone diligently. I walk my own dog once a day, take him on a 2.5-mile walk, freshen water bowl twice a day before each meal, followed by a deep brush through every night before bed. He works for his treats as he taking commands or when he shows that he is listening.
