I am a full-time pet sitter; I welcome small, cat-friendly dogs for overnight boarding or daycare, visit cats in their homes and take dogs under 30 lbs for 30-minute or 1-hour walks.

When I visit with your pet, I follow their lead and your instructions. Whether your dog is a stop-n-sniffer or the full-steam-ahead type, we take a walk that they'll enjoy. If your cat is shy, I allow them the space they need to be comfortable with me and never force anything. I always handle the business first: food, water, walk and litter and then set aside some of my time for play or TLC...usually a bit of both.

The most important thing that I should know about your pet are any medical concerns or physical limitations and secondarily, any tendencies for aggression, or idiosyncrasies that I should look out for.
Ein typischer Tag
Once I arrive, your pet and I will take a few moments on the greeting ritual. Once your dog and I are (re) acquainted we'll set out on a neighborhood walk. If there's a nearby park and your dog loves it, we'll head there, if she or he needs a leisurely stroll, that's the walk we'll be on. If I'm visiting your cat or other indoor-only pet, I'll let your pet/s know I'm there and I'll take care of the basics (food/water/litter refresh, etc.) and then we'll have some quality time - attention, affection or play...usually all three, if that's what your furry family member wants. I'll follow the routine that you have outlined so that your pet feels safe, confident and comfortable while you're away.

I've cared for animals all my life; our own family pets (since childhood), past experience working in a pet shop, volunteering at animal shelters and with pet rescue organizations. I love animals and making sure they are happy, well-cared for and enjoying life is my goal as a pet sitter.
