“Yeji is a compassionate care giver, knowledgeable when it comes to working with cats and highly professional. She is responsive, a great communicator, and our cat loved her. She completed 2 drop in visits per day while we were away and provided updates about each visit. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with their pet and look forward to working with her again. Thank you Yeji!”

“Shannon was absolutely amazing with our dog, Sky! From the beginning, she made us feel completely comfortable and confident that Sky was in great hands. She communicated with us every day, sent plenty of photos and updates, and really gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Shannon genuinely cared about Sky and treated him like she was her own. Being able to enjoy our time away without worrying about how Sky was doing meant so much to us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust Shannon to watch Sky again. Highly recommend her!”

“My cat warmed up to Emma so quick and it made my trip that much more enjoyable knowing he was in her care! I also appreciated how communicative she was and sent pictures daily !! :) She was a joy to work with and I would hire her again!”

“I wish I could give Caroline more than 5 stars! She was absolutely fantastic with our pets (a chihuahua and kitty). She was always on time, sending plenty of great photos and videos. One thing I also really loved was that she would show that they had finished their food, and she had replenished with new meals and fresh water. Her updates were lovely and overall I would 100% use Carolines services again. Thank you so much for helping take care of our babies while we were away!! :)”

About: During my senior year of high school I started volunteering at my local county animal shelter. Over the summer, I was working with dogs 8 hours a week in addition to my self managed swim lesson business and swim team practices. I also own and have fostered senior dogs! As much as I love to play with energetic young dogs, seniors are just as great ;) Fish are another specialty of mine! I have been keeping fish since I was six so if you have pet fish they are in good hands :) I am currently a college student and I am on my college swim team. My schedule is flexible and I have a reliable car. I am happy to stay overnight in clients homes. Before I moved to college my dogs had access to a large fenced yard and lived with us in the home. They were taken out on daily walks. Additionally, I have a beagle at home so I am very good at keeping food out of reach. At the animal shelter I volunteered at I would use positive reinforcement with the dogs to help train them.

“Sofiya did everything we needed and more to make sure our pets and their space was well taken care of and comfortable. She sent pictures and updates about our cat and fish when she did house visits during the week that we were out of town. She did a very thorough job, and we will definitely have her help us out again in the future!”

“I can’t say enough positive things about Kenya. She always comes when she says she will and goes above and beyond with our fur babies. Our pets actually like her more than us now. She is very trustworthy- which is hard to find these days.....I feel like I won the pet helper lottery with Kenya. If you are looking for the best, look no further.”

I have a flexible schedule and enjoy making time for walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I’m reliable and organized, so I can easily work pet care into my day while making sure each pet gets the care and attention they deserve I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I follow their normal routine for feeding, playtime, walks, and any special instructions. I’ll keep their space clean and send regular updates so you can feel confident they’re happy and well cared for.

About: I used to take care of stray cats and dogs before moving to the U.S. it was a traumatizing but at the same time rewarding experience. I should say that I am considered a beginner to private pet sitting but I love animals and therefore believe that I have the right foundation to learn and grow fast. I’m currently starting at a full time Saturday through Tuesday esthetician program and I’ll only be able to offer services everyday between 5:30 and 10:30 pm. On Sundays and Mondays I’ll be available all day. I don’t offer pet care at my own place, but for any session outside or at a client’s place I’ll probably try to communicate with the pet parent about their pet’s needs, preferences, and potentially high risk behaviors. I’d like my attitude to lean towards customizing the service routine for each pet to keep the experience safe and satisfying for them and the others.
“Madison was great. Her communication was excellent and She gave Rocky lots of love , fed him and took him outside for his business. I was very impressed that she asked us if we wanted to do a meet and greet prior to having her come over. I will def use Madison again.”

“Daly was incredible. My family and I were out of country for 2 weeks on vacation. We had never left our dog with anyone before and we were very nervous about it. Daly is very sweet and confident around us and our dog. Our dog was 1year and very high energy at times, but Daly was un-phased by the challenge. She has a lot of experience around animals and it shows. Being on complete opposite times zones was challenging, but Daly sent video, photos, updates and questions along the way to make sure we were informed about our dog everyday. It was absolutely perfect. I have no concerns about recommending her to friends and family and she will definitely be our dog’s go-to caregiver in the future!”

Parnian was absolutely amazing with Leyli! From the second Leyli saw her, she immediately loved her and felt comfortable around her, which made me feel so much better about being away. Parnian took such great care of her and gave her lots of attention, playtime, cuddles, and love. She was very caring, responsible, and kept me updated with photos and videos, which I really appreciated. It was clear that Leyli was happy and comfortable with her the entire time. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can trust with Leyli, and I would absolutely book with Parnian again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and trustworthy cat sitter! ❤️🐱

I completely trust Radhika with my cats and feel in peace when she watches them. She is very good with them, even with the territorial, feisty one. She follows all the instructions and goes above and beyond every time. I appreciate her a lot and cannot recommend her enough!

Sofiya did an amazing job with our kitties. They are shy and they loved her. Sofiya sent daily updates and videos and when we returned home everything was perfect. My cat that hides from strangers heard her voice and ran to the door to see her. I will definitely have Sofiya as our primary pet sitter. I highly recommend Sofiya. Diana

Hayley really put our minds at ease when we were away as we trusted her both with our cat and our home! She was reliable, meticulous, communicative and delightful. Our shy introverted cat adores her and it was obvious that Hayley cared very much both about our cat and about doing a good job. We loved receiving the cute photos and videos of our Cat she shared. Hayley is a gem and we hope she will come back next time to help out we are away! Thank you Hayley!

Thank you for always making me feel so comfortable that Jax is taken care of no matter if it’s a check-in or a long trip. Thank you for always meeting him where he is where he wants to be playful that day or whether he’s made a mess in front of his box. I appreciate it all.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Denise for taking care of Gemma (& all the house hiccups) this past holiday week! She kept our minds at peace while we were back East thousands of miles away. Perhaps the best compliment I can give Denise...I have had about a dozen sitters over the past 10 years and Gemma was the most calm and like herself upon our return out of any sitting experience I have ever had. So grateful for you, Denise!

Diana took great care of my 10 year old cat. Twice a day she checked-in and provided a detailed update and photos--easing my concerns for my cat's well-being. When my flight was delayed a day, Diana stepped in to provide extra care. I will gladly work with Diana again.
Celine was amazing with my cat, Starsky. The photos and updates from each visit were great and very reassuring that he was very well taken care of. Love the little details about Starsky’s actions she’d throw in the update, it let me know that she was really attentive and he was a happy cat. She really went above and beyond and I would book with her again for sure.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
