“First time working with Emma and definitely not the last time. The cats approve! On time, which is crucial with the medication and very caring for both the cats and our piece of mind.”

“Sofiya did everything we needed and more to make sure our pets and their space was well taken care of and comfortable. She sent pictures and updates about our cat and fish when she did house visits during the week that we were out of town. She did a very thorough job, and we will definitely have her help us out again in the future!”

“Celine was such a kind, thoughtful sitter to my 18 year old "old man kitty" Bear. She followed all instructions and he was comfy, fat and happy when I arrived home. She also made time for a thorough meet and greet with Bear.”
About: I have experience with pets(cat, dogs, mouses) from my childhood. In my childhood I read book how to train puppies and I have some knowledge. I think that pets makes people more kind, relax and healthy. I take care about my child and we are or at home or at park near our home or within our community most of the time. At park a lot of dogs are playing together, like at dog park. 5 min away we have dog park too.We are really available to take care about pets(walk, play, feed, care). We are living in big pet friendly community with green grass field which is good to walk with dogs. Our community goes in to the park. Our appartment is so comfortable. If it will be needed we can keep our dog separate from your dog or cat. Our dog is 2 years old. He is calm and delicate, well-being doggy. He is kind and friendly, likes to play. We will responsibly to take care about your cat or dog, because We are enjoining to do that. My son is gentle with cats and dogs. He is my little big helper.
“Rachel was amazing with our dog!!! We were nervous using rover for our first time but Rachel made it seamless. You can tell that she is great with animals. She sent updates and pictures each time and was very communicative. Highly recommended trusting her with your pets, will be most definitely rebooking her services!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and from a young age I have been responsible for their care. I have been dog-sitting for neighbors and friends since I was a little kid. I am most experienced with large and small dog breeds. I currently have a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees named Bowie who loves all dogs and people, and a 10-year-old Chihuahua/Wiener dog mix named Lola who also loves all dogs and people. I also have a 12-year-old Indian Ringneck parrot named Cloudy. Cloudy is kept away from dogs when out of the cage for his safety. I am also experienced with small to medium-sized birds and can pet-sit for them as well. I trained both of my dogs myself, and they are very well behaved. I can care for dogs with all sorts of needs or special care; I follow instructions to a T, and all pets are treated like family in my home. I work part-time, and while my work schedule is not regular, my pet schedule does not change. I wake up at 8:30 every morning, and the first thing I do is walk and feed my dogs and my bird. If I am not home, my mom, who is just as experienced with pets as I am, will be home, and she will walk our dogs. I feed my dogs between 4:30 and 5. I try my best to have a walking schedule of every 2-3 hours. This usually looks like an 8:30 am walk, 11:30 am walk, 2:30 pm walk, 5:30 pm walk, and our last walk is usually at 8:30 pm. At 8:30 pm, depending on the dogs' mood, I will either let them go to the bathroom in the yard or take them for a walk if they have some energy left. My schedule is always open to change given your dogs' needs. All my pets get 24/7 snuggles, but I am more than capable of giving a dog their space if they just like to co-exist. My dogs are given kibble and a mix of Greek yogurt, cooked turkey, and green beans as their topper. Lola struggles with her weight, so we do usually put food up after about 30 minutes to prevent her from eating our other dogs' unfinished food. Bowie has a lot of allergies, so we usually stick to turkey, salmon, and duck-based foods for his sensitive tummy. Bowie has lots of hair, so in the evenings I usually like to brush him while I watch TV, so I am more than happy to brush your dog if that is something they are interested in. Our home is two stories, and we keep my bird Cloudy upstairs, so if there are any issues between your pet and my bird, it is not a problem if we have to keep them separated. Our backyard is more of a cement patio. We have a patch of turf for them to potty, and we have a really high fence with no gaps, so don't fret if your pet is an escape artist; I am readily equipped! Lola used to be a runner before she got chunky, so I am also experienced in safely handling dogs that like to try and slip out the front door. I do walk our dogs on non-retractable leads as I find that it instills the best walking manners. When I walk my dogs, it is usually just around my neighborhood, which is about a 15-minute loop, but I also have excellent walking trails outside my neighborhood that I can walk the dogs on if your dog would like some extra long walk and sniff time. Lastly, we do not crate our dogs, but if your dog needs to be crated, we can accommodate that. Every situation is unique, and every dog has their own needs, and I will handle them with the utmost compassion and understanding.
“I can’t say enough positive things about Kenya. She always comes when she says she will and goes above and beyond with our fur babies. Our pets actually like her more than us now. She is very trustworthy- which is hard to find these days.....I feel like I won the pet helper lottery with Kenya. If you are looking for the best, look no further.”

About: My wife and I have always loved pets and we would love to help you provide care for your pets as well! We grew up with pets: cats and dogs, and currently have an Australian Shepherd and a Persian cat in our home. Our dog has epilepsy and our cat is a senior so we have plenty of experience caring for pets with special needs. Your pet will have constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and immediate attention throughout the entire day. Our home is a detached three-bedroom, fenced-in condo that is right next to a small/private park so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and play. Unfortunately we can not accept pets that are not potty-trained. I currently work from home and have plenty of time for walks and playtime throughout the week. Overnight boarding is also available any day of the week. I have a fenced in yard in a quiet community that is right next to a park. I have a senior cat that is not very active anymore and a low energy dog with epilepsy.
“Lynn went above and beyond to take care of my dog last minute. She came everyday and kept me updated about the care and love she gave my dog. Shes a wonderful person to rely on when you need your animals cared for!”
About: Growing up with dogs, I have a genuine love for animals. My main job offers flexible hours and the ability to work from home, giving me ample time to watch and care for your pet. I provide undivided attention to ensure your pet's happiness and well-being. I work from home and live alone which gives me a chance to be able to spend time with cats and dogs at the same time. I'll watch over your pet and play with it as if it's my own. they'll be staying in my apartment with me right there at all times. we can go on short walks every few hours.
“This is my second time using Daria and she is amazing! She always takes such good care of my cat and keeps my house in shape as well. I totally trust her and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Radhika is a pro! She was wonderful with our dogs and brought me peace of mind knowing they were in good hands, and sent cute pictures. She helped me navigate using Rover service for the first time and was flexible. We would love to have Radhika help us in the future.”

About: Dog Walking & Pet Care Services I provide reliable dog walking services tailored to your dog’s energy level and needs. Walks can include neighborhood strolls, park visits, potty breaks, and enrichment time to keep your pup happy and active. My goal is to make every walk safe, fun, and engaging. My Experience With Pets I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with playful puppies, energetic adult dogs, and senior pups who prefer a slower pace. I focus on patience, positive reinforcement, and building trust with each dog. Availability I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. Because I work from home, I’m often available for daytime walks, midday potty breaks, and flexible scheduling throughout the week. This flexibility allows me to give dogs my full attention during their walks. My Approach I treat every dog as if they were my own and prioritize their safety and comfort. Pet parents can expect dependable communication and thoughtful care during each visit. My goal is to make sure your dog returns home happy, relaxed, and well-exercised. I am currently working full-time but have the time and energy to walk and play with some fuzzy friends which is actually a treat for me after a long day of desk work. I have a cat currently that I make sure to spend plenty of time playing with and loving on daily and make sure she has nutritious food and clean water every day. I would do the same for any pets that I accept into my home.

Sofiya did an amazing job with our kitties. They are shy and they loved her. Sofiya sent daily updates and videos and when we returned home everything was perfect. My cat that hides from strangers heard her voice and ran to the door to see her. I will definitely have Sofiya as our primary pet sitter. I highly recommend Sofiya. Diana

Thanks to Laurie we have had another successful trip without worrying about our cat. Laurie is the best! We can always count on her to make sure Benny gets his treat each visit and has his food, water, and litter refilled. He also gets play time with Laurie each day. We also appreciate all the updates and photos Laurie sends us. Thank you Laurie! :)

Hayley really put our minds at ease when we were away as we trusted her both with our cat and our home! She was reliable, meticulous, communicative and delightful. Our shy introverted cat adores her and it was obvious that Hayley cared very much both about our cat and about doing a good job. We loved receiving the cute photos and videos of our Cat she shared. Hayley is a gem and we hope she will come back next time to help out we are away! Thank you Hayley!

Thank you for always making me feel so comfortable that Jax is taken care of no matter if it’s a check-in or a long trip. Thank you for always meeting him where he is where he wants to be playful that day or whether he’s made a mess in front of his box. I appreciate it all.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Denise for taking care of Gemma (& all the house hiccups) this past holiday week! She kept our minds at peace while we were back East thousands of miles away. Perhaps the best compliment I can give Denise...I have had about a dozen sitters over the past 10 years and Gemma was the most calm and like herself upon our return out of any sitting experience I have ever had. So grateful for you, Denise!

Diana took great care of my 10 year old cat. Twice a day she checked-in and provided a detailed update and photos--easing my concerns for my cat's well-being. When my flight was delayed a day, Diana stepped in to provide extra care. I will gladly work with Diana again.
Celine was amazing with my cat, Starsky. The photos and updates from each visit were great and very reassuring that he was very well taken care of. Love the little details about Starsky’s actions she’d throw in the update, it let me know that she was really attentive and he was a happy cat. She really went above and beyond and I would book with her again for sure.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Aliso Viejo. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
