About: The reflection of a person reflects how a domesticated animal will come to be. Thoughts like these make me want to understand more of why we were put on this world. Animals make me happy. They do things so flowingly and naturally and it’s so unique because it’s so simple. They don’t want to do it, they just do it. Each dog and cat all have their quirks and differences which is why they are so special to me being that all animals are special as well. These thoughts and experiences help me into exploring more of what I want to be as a person with animals and how this could help me to become what I aspire in being and beyond. I go to the gym almost everyday about an hour and a half. I go out most of the weekends usually between 2pm to 1am. 3 adults also live in our household and they already take care of most of the pets in our household. Every single moment counts as animals are in every single moment as well since they are being. To this moment I am still learning to understand all of my pets, they all have their differences and that is what I love so much. I have be different with each one. Adapting is such a big challenge for me because it can require a vast amount of patience and effort. Sometimes things will not go the way you want it to and that’s ok. There will always be another moment to try. These thoughts and reasons are what I want to apply when I’m studying new animals and how I can gain their trust.
“I chose Daniela as my sitter the fist time I used Rover and will always continue to choose her. She is the kindest, most compassionate lover of her animals and welcomed our pup with open arms. She sent pics and communicated throughout Reyas stay…she was not only a perfect fit for our puppy, but our family. Nothing but amazing things to say about her service and needless to say our puppy was extremely tired after all their playful adventures!”

“Lee took excellent care of our girl! She is older and has some particular needs and Lee was highly communicative and helped make our gal’s stay a success. I was super grateful for her flexibility. This was the furthest we had been away from our dog and Lee made me feel at ease the entire time. Her home felt like a very safe space and I’m so grateful to Lee for working so hard to keep Pickle happy. Definitely book with Lee!”

“Yeji is a compassionate care giver, knowledgeable when it comes to working with cats and highly professional. She is responsive, a great communicator, and our cat loved her. She completed 2 drop in visits per day while we were away and provided updates about each visit. I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with their pet and look forward to working with her again. Thank you Yeji!”

“It was the first time Radhika took care of my two cats and won’t be the last for sure. She was really nice to them and me. She was on time for all the visits, provided the information I needed, played with them and all. I also appreciate that she didn’t feel intimidated by one of my cats who is aggressive to people he has just met :)”

“Seren is awesome. She is super reliable, and obviously loves hanging out with your pet. I like how she sends pictures and takes the extra time to show them some love when their owners are out of town.”

“We returned to a very happy and well cared for cat after Rachel watched her for a few days. Rachel left our place in immaculate condition and provided us with regular updates. We won’t hesitate to hire Rachel for our future pet sitting needs!”

About: I’ve had many cats over my life and have dealt with all sorts of cats with different personalities, disabilities, or childhood traumas. There’s even this one cat that I’m pretty sure was autistic. For me they’re the least challenging most lovable pets to care for.
About: During my senior year of high school I started volunteering at my local county animal shelter. Over the summer, I was working with dogs 8 hours a week in addition to my self managed swim lesson business and swim team practices. I also own and have fostered senior dogs! As much as I love to play with energetic young dogs, seniors are just as great ;) Fish are another specialty of mine! I have been keeping fish since I was six so if you have pet fish they are in good hands :) I am currently a college student and I am on my college swim team. My schedule is flexible and I have a reliable car. I am happy to stay overnight in clients homes. Before I moved to college my dogs had access to a large fenced yard and lived with us in the home. They were taken out on daily walks. Additionally, I have a beagle at home so I am very good at keeping food out of reach. At the animal shelter I volunteered at I would use positive reinforcement with the dogs to help train them.
About: I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. 2 of the dogs are pretty big, one is small. They all have totally different personalities which I love I know how to attend to each of their needs. My pets are my world, and I'm sure you feel the same about your pets. Pets should be treated as family and that's exactly how I treat them. Our best friends. When they're happy, I'm happy. I'll be sure to take care of your pets just like they're my own, giving them all the love and affection. I've had pets for over 9 years. I'll let them take their time on walks, play with them, and happily follow any instructions you have for your pet. I'm happy to take care if any type of pet: big, small, young, old. I'm currently working 5 days a week, excluding Wednesdays and Thursdays. I typically work from 7am-3:30pm. So after 4pm would be the best time for me to come take care of your pets! On Wednesdays and Thursdays I'm free all day! I will keep a constant eye on your pets and follow any instructions you have. I will also provide plenty of updates throughout the visit to ensure your peace of mind!
“Daria was amazing! She watched my cat for the weekend and it was so nice knowing that she was handling everything. She was always right on time and sent me pictures daily. Would definitely use her again!”

“Sofiya was absolutely amazing! She did drop in visits at my house in the evening and my cat loved her. She sent me loads of pictures and videos and great updates throughout my trip. She is super communicative and did a great job! Will definitely book again (-:”

About: I have experience with pets(cat, dogs, mouses) from my childhood. In my childhood I read book how to train puppies and I have some knowledge. I think that pets makes people more kind, relax and healthy. I take care about my child and we are or at home or at park near our home or within our community most of the time. At park a lot of dogs are playing together, like at dog park. 5 min away we have dog park too.We are really available to take care about pets(walk, play, feed, care). We are living in big pet friendly community with green grass field which is good to walk with dogs. Our community goes in to the park. Our appartment is so comfortable. If it will be needed we can keep our dog separate from your dog or cat. Our dog is 2 years old. He is calm and delicate, well-being doggy. He is kind and friendly, likes to play. We will responsibly to take care about your cat or dog, because We are enjoining to do that. My son is gentle with cats and dogs. He is my little big helper.

About: I have been a lifelong cat owner and have cared for many cats over the years, including those with very different personalities, temperaments, and needs. I currently have two cats of my own, one of whom requires medication twice daily, so I am very comfortable with administering medications and maintaining consistent care routines. While my professional pet sitting experience with other cats is growing, my hands-on, long-term experience as a cat owner has given me a deep understanding of feline behavior, body language, and trust-building. I am especially comfortable working with shy, anxious, or “difficult” cats and take a patient, gentle approach that allows them to feel safe at their own pace. I believe in earning a cat’s trust through calm energy, consistency, and positive interactions. This often includes spending extra time during visits playing, engaging, or simply sitting quietly so cats can approach on their terms. With patience, affection, and a little playtime, I’ve had great success helping even the most cautious cats relax and feel secure. My goal during every visit is to ensure your cat feels safe, comfortable, and cared for — not rushed — while maintaining their normal routine and providing plenty of attention and enrichment.
About: I have had animals since I was eight. I have compassion and patience. I enjoy the animals company and taking care of all their needs I have an open schedule and will accomadate all the animals needs and the pet parents wants for their animals. My goal is to meet all needs I will help pet feel relaxed, calm and not sad while the owner is away. I will play with them and try to make it like a vacation for them.

About: I love cats and have always been a cat person. I grew up on a 10 acre farm in Washington state with several cats, large and small dogs, horses, and chickens. I gained many years of experience volunteering at animal shelters growing up with my family and was in 4H. I feel confident in my ability to care for any animal, I have experience caring for nursing kittens to senior cats and have administered medications. I have two cats Lani and Josie, I adopted them both while living on Oahu. You can trust that I will take your pet care as seriously as I take my own pets care. Thank you for your consideration in trusting me with your beloved pets and home.

I truly appreciate the care and attention she provided and would definitely recommend Shelley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you, Shelley! 🐾❤️”

“Very nice first visit with Hannah! She is very kind, caring and nice. Our puppy seemed to have a good day. She sends lots of pictures and updates which is great as it's our first time leaving our puppy.”

“Emely has been super helpful with helping take care of my 3 month old pup. She is very attentive and is always sure to send me updates throughout the day. I definitely recommend!”

“Jacqueline and her husband are so sweet and easy to work with! Winnie had a great time with them for day care. They sent updates and were flexible with my shifting schedule! Thankful for them!”

“David and his family were so great to Perry. He was very responsive and we did a meet and greet prior to book the day care. We are looking for a long term sitter in the area so decided to use the daycare as a trial to see if it would be a good match. David sent us a lot of photos and from the photos I can tell Perry was having fun, always in a big smile. Thank you so much for taking care of Perry and we will be back to book David really soon!”

“Thanks so much, Sondra, for taking such good care of Sumo and Gromit! They slept great last night and they're looking forward to seeing you over the Christmas break!”

“I left my 4 month old mini doxie pup with Claudia for doggie daycare! It was his first time being dropped off with a stranger for the day so I was a little nervous for her sake and his! Upon arriving I was greeted by Claudia and her incredibly calm and sweet dog! I immediately felt at ease seeing her energy around him (again calm, friendly) and knew he’d okay! Claudia was great at communicating updates about our pup throughout the day and I could tell he was having a great time. I was delighted to bring him back home and have him sleep right away haha, she clearly gave him a full, fun day of attention and activities. Very glad to have found a reliable dog sitter like Claudia and couldn't recommend her more!”

“Alyssa was amazing with our very nervous dog! She was a very patient, understanding, kind, and very communicative with us throughout the whole process. Her and her fiancé are great people and we look forward to our next stay! We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome in our dog came back to us happy!”

“My husband and I are so happy we left our beloved dog Nimko with Dan. He put as at ease the moment we met. We occasionally go to Irvine for work, and we will definitely leave him with Dan again. He's a wonderful person.”

“Taro stayed with Ailen, and I could tell she had such a great time! She was always so happy in the pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. 🥰 Ailen also took the time to ask thoughtful questions about Taro and how she should care for her, which was really reassuring. I think Taro even made some new friends! As she’s gotten a little older, she’s not quite as friendly with other dogs as she used to be, so it was really nice to see her enjoying their company and having fun. Ailen is wonderful if you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive to take care of your fur baby. I would definitely recommend her! ❤️”

“Jaime was great with Sage. Sage can be nervous first meeting people and Jaime was confident Sage would be taken care of and warm up. She sent several update photos and Sage had a great time. I will definitely hire Jaime again ◡̈”

About: I’ve always been around animals and genuinely love them, especially Golden Retrievers. My friends and family trust me with their dogs because I actually enjoy spending time with them. I hang out with them, play with them, take them on walks, and make sure they get plenty of attention. I don’t personally have a dog at the moment because I travel from time to time, but dogs have always been a big part of my life. My wife has owned two dogs, and I’ve personally had cats, so I’m very comfortable around animals and caring for them. I’m patient, calm, and good at building trust, especially with pets who may need a little time to warm up. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I will personally be the one providing all care for any pets booked through my Rover profile. I’m available mornings and evenings for dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding. I enjoy spending real time with the pets I care for, whether that means going on walks, playing, hanging out, or just keeping them company. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how they’re doing. Since I live in an apartment, the best fit would be a dog who is house trained, calm indoors, and comfortable using either the elevator or stairs. They should also be able to settle without excessive barking. I’m happy to spend plenty of time with them, play, go on walks, and keep them company. I just ask that they don’t have a history of aggressive behavior, biting, frequent accidents, or destructive habits. A quick meet and greet beforehand would be great so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable and it’s a good fit. I’m happy to spend plenty of time with them, play, go on walks, and keep them company. I just ask that they don’t have aggressive behavior, biting, frequent accidents, or destructive habits. A quick meet-and-greet beforehand would be great so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable and it’s a good fit.

“Radhika is amazing. She’s so good with my very stubborn guy. She suggested a different harness for his breed and ever since we tried that new harness he’s been so much more well behaved! She’s intuitive, calm, kind, and wonderful. I feel so lucky to have her as a regular walker.”

“DanaRene was very nice and patient with our dog. She took her time at the meet and greet making sure my dog was comfortable. They had a great walk together and I will definitely use her again!”

“Shannon was fantastic! Needed my Dobie fed and walked for 2 days while I was away 6am - 8pm. After an initial meet & greet, I felt Shannon was right for the job and she exceeded expectations. In addition to providing the necessary poop & pee report, she added additional commentary and plenty of photos. Bianca seemed happy each night when I returned home. I will definitely use Shannon again when needed.”

About: I’m Lani! 🐾 A lifelong dog lover with plenty of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities! I grew up with dogs and have regularly cared for my family, friends, and neighbors’ dogs, including huskies, french bulldogs, english bulldogs, pit bulls, dachshunds, corgis, an aussiedoodle, and my clumsy loving bernedoodle. My approach to pet care is all about positive reinforcement. More than anything, I want your pup to feel safe and happy while you’re away. My schedule fluctuates, I’m a freelance artist, and a lot of my work takes me abroad. However, when I am home my schedule is open for Rover services. Our home has been a lively playground for many dogs. Nearby is a huge park with fields and walking trails for the pups to enjoy.

About: Hi! I'm Jon, I'm in my early 40s, and I live with my partner in a condo in Aliso Viejo, CA. (I would be the sole service provider) Until recently, my #1 hobby was spending time with my dog, Mae. I loved taking her out on nature trails and all kinds of adventures (in 2024, I even took Mae on a family road trip all the way up to Seattle and back!). After having her for 9 years in our home, I sadly lost my sweet girl in September 2025; she was about 13 years old and unfortunately had developed several unforeseen medical issues. There were a lot of long days and nights of administering medications and emergency vet visits until I made the hard decision to have her pass in comfort at home. I'm still healing from the loss: since I worked from home, Mae was my shadow all day, every day. I have used Rover for many years, but I'm easing into the other side of being a service provider. I'm not ready to get a new dog just yet, but I have a lot of love to give and I'm ready to care for your fur baby on a part-time basis. I'm currently job hunting, so my availability is close to 100% at the moment: I can sit in your home, do drop-in visits, or have your dog(s) stay with me. My condo is completely safe for dogs, my neighborhood is quiet and safe, and there are some great walking routes as well as a dog park nearby. I look forward to hearing from you! I'm currently job hunting, but have been working remotely for the past 13 years. Whatever new job I land will either be Remote or Hybrid. Weekdays are best, though I can occasionally care for your dog(s) on weekends as well. With my own dog Mae, I was feeding her twice a day, taking her on 5-6 small walks a day, and making sure her brain was stimulated throughout my work day. In my home: I live in a two-story condo with a loft. Most of the square footage is on the second floor, with a 13-step staircase from the ground floor. For older dogs or those with any hip or joint issues, I have no problem carrying them up or down the stairs. The majority of the main floor has either carpet or large, thick area rugs; the rest of the flooring is wood laminate. I have no problem letting dogs up on furniture or the bed as long as they're fairly clean (especially paws). Your dog will have full access to fresh, cold, filtered water as well as fans/air conditioning, toys and brain enrichment puzzles. I will follow your instructions on what, if any, treats they are allowed to have (and how many). In your home: you make the rules and I will follow them to the letter! I will treat your home and personal property with respect. If I have a question (and I will probably think of lots of them), I will ask you instead of assuming what the answer is. I don't smoke, I don't do drugs, I have my own car, and I'd love nothing more than to stay home with your dog(s) all day.

About: My family has three large labradors, so I’ve grown up with crazy dogs since forever! I know how to handle dogs who have reactive issues on leash because of my own dogs. I’m a college student home for the summer and I’m pretty much free all of the time! I love dogs so I thought trying out Rover would be a fun experience for me! I’m very good at following directions and can do whatever is needed to best care for your dog! I’m open to caring for any size and breed.
About: I have more than 30 years of experience. I started dog-sitting for friends and family and through private referrals. I have cared for dogs of all ages. I will keep you updated with photos and messages. And for additional peace of mind, I have pet-sitter insurance (certificate available upon request). Doggy socializing (the dog park, Starbucks, restaurant patios, doggy play dates with their friends or your fur baby's other favorite hangout spot) are included during overnight stays with dog parents' permission of course. I work from home which allows me to give your fur babies the love and attention that you would want for them and that they deserve. My aim is to provide next level service and to help lessen the stress of being away from your fur baby. All I need is a place to crash (I don't mind sharing the bed with your dogs), the Wi-Fi password, and your doggos to hang out with. I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, safe, relaxed, doted on and well looked after while you’re away. Rest assured, during overnight bookings, your pets will be the only ones that I take care of. Meaning, I won't book any drop-ins or walks with other clients.
About: I have had animals since I was eight. I have compassion and patience. I enjoy the animals company and taking care of all their needs I have an open schedule and will accomadate all the animals needs and the pet parents wants for their animals. About: My name is Marina and I am a true dog lover ! I was raised with dogs and I always considered them my family. I have been dog sitting for 5 years now and really enjoy having them over or taking them for walks. I’m available to boarding and walk any day and I enjoy taking the dogs for daily walks and to beach if it’s ok with the owner. I have a good size patio that they can sunbathe and I also have a lot of green areas around my neighborhood to go for walks.
About: I've lived around animals all my life and have experience with taking care of a large variety of species and personalities! In addition to dogs and cats I've cared for birds, reptiles, and rodents. Getting to hang out with animals is something I really enjoy! Currently I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to drop in whenever needed to take good care of your pet! I don't mind early mornings or late check ins. When I enter the home I first greet the animal and make sure they are doing well. After I make sure all is well and they're accustomed to me being there, I'll feed them, let them outside, or whatever else is needed. In addition, I love to play with them or just give them company for as long as possible!

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and from a young age I have been responsible for their care. I have been dog-sitting for neighbors and friends since I was a little kid. I am most experienced with large and small dog breeds. I currently have a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees named Bowie who loves all dogs and people, and a 10-year-old Chihuahua/Wiener dog mix named Lola who also loves all dogs and people. I also have a 12-year-old Indian Ringneck parrot named Cloudy. Cloudy is kept away from dogs when out of the cage for his safety. I am also experienced with small to medium-sized birds and can pet-sit for them as well. I trained both of my dogs myself, and they are very well behaved. I can care for dogs with all sorts of needs or special care; I follow instructions to a T, and all pets are treated like family in my home. I work part-time, and while my work schedule is not regular, my pet schedule does not change. I wake up at 8:30 every morning, and the first thing I do is walk and feed my dogs and my bird. If I am not home, my mom, who is just as experienced with pets as I am, will be home, and she will walk our dogs. I feed my dogs between 4:30 and 5. I try my best to have a walking schedule of every 2-3 hours. This usually looks like an 8:30 am walk, 11:30 am walk, 2:30 pm walk, 5:30 pm walk, and our last walk is usually at 8:30 pm. At 8:30 pm, depending on the dogs' mood, I will either let them go to the bathroom in the yard or take them for a walk if they have some energy left. My schedule is always open to change given your dogs' needs. All my pets get 24/7 snuggles, but I am more than capable of giving a dog their space if they just like to co-exist. My dogs are given kibble and a mix of Greek yogurt, cooked turkey, and green beans as their topper. Lola struggles with her weight, so we do usually put food up after about 30 minutes to prevent her from eating our other dogs' unfinished food. Bowie has a lot of allergies, so we usually stick to turkey, salmon, and duck-based foods for his sensitive tummy. Bowie has lots of hair, so in the evenings I usually like to brush him while I watch TV, so I am more than happy to brush your dog if that is something they are interested in. Our home is two stories, and we keep my bird Cloudy upstairs, so if there are any issues between your pet and my bird, it is not a problem if we have to keep them separated. Our backyard is more of a cement patio. We have a patch of turf for them to potty, and we have a really high fence with no gaps, so don't fret if your pet is an escape artist; I am readily equipped! Lola used to be a runner before she got chunky, so I am also experienced in safely handling dogs that like to try and slip out the front door. I do walk our dogs on non-retractable leads as I find that it instills the best walking manners. When I walk my dogs, it is usually just around my neighborhood, which is about a 15-minute loop, but I also have excellent walking trails outside my neighborhood that I can walk the dogs on if your dog would like some extra long walk and sniff time. Lastly, we do not crate our dogs, but if your dog needs to be crated, we can accommodate that. Every situation is unique, and every dog has their own needs, and I will handle them with the utmost compassion and understanding.

“Temi is the BEST! My girl Penne always has so much fun with Temi. She runs up and gives her lots of love! I get plenty of pictures and videos and my girl is always smiling! I know she’s being well taken care of!”

“Our experience with Doug was great! Puppies are difficult, but Doug is patient and willing to work with us on trying potential solutions. We are so happy we found a reliable person whom we can entrust our doggos with!”

“William and his wife were great hosts for our dog. They sent daily updates and photos and videos, which I very much appreciated. Additionally, they have a beautiful yard for dogs to roam around in! I highly recommend them.”

“My wife and I booked with Banafshe for a long weekend trip, after our go-to dog sitter was unavailable. We are happy we did. Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. We would trust her and her family with our furbaby again and I highly recommend. 🥰”

“SaeWon was so kind and caring towards my sweet pup, Ava. I always get nervous leaving my pup with a stranger for boarding but SaeWon kept me in the loop with lots of pictures and videos of Ava while I was gone. She also sent me updates on her and it gave me lots of ease knowing my dog was taken care of. SaeWon’s sons also helpedcare for the dogs and I can tell the sons are wonderful with dogs!! I highly recommend SaeWon and her family’s services. Thank you for everything, SaeWon!”

“We’re so grateful for Rommel and his family for taking such great care of our dogs while we were away. They treated our dogs like part of their own family and made sure they felt safe, loved, and well cared for. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We got regular updates, and it was clear they were happy and comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter!”
