About: Hi! I’m a recent magna cum laude graduate of Oregon State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a focus in Crime & Justice, along with minors in Criminology and Political Science. During nearly three years of college, I worked at a coffee shop located inside OSU’s veterinary hospital, which was such a unique and rewarding experience. I loved being surrounded by animals every day and interacting with students and staff who shared that same passion. I learned a lot about animal safety, got plenty of time with pups, and was always happy to hand out a free pup cup (when diet-approved, of course!). My love for dogs started very early. I grew up with my rescue dog Bruce, a Black Lab/Chow mix, from the time I was six years old and he was a pup until he passed at 15 and a half years old last May. He was truly my best friend and a huge part of my life—I spent years walking him, playing fetch, and caring for him full-time. In 2022, my family adopted another rescue, Phoebe, who came from a traumatic background and needed a lot of patience, structure, and care. I was heavily involved in her training process—from potty training and leash work to helping her adjust to a safe, loving home. It was a learning experience that required consistency and compassion, and it was incredibly rewarding to watch her grow into the calm, happy, and well-behaved dog she is today. She now loves walks, hikes, and being around people and other dogs. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I frequently volunteered with and donated to a local humane society in Corvallis during college. Through their “Doggy Day Out” program, I would take shelter dogs out for the day—whether that meant walks at the park, pup cups, or simply relaxing at home with plenty of cuddles. I always tailored each outing to the dog’s energy level, age, and personality, making sure they felt safe, comfortable, and loved outside of the shelter environment. I’ve also cared for dogs outside my home, including helping raise and train a puppy for a close friend—handling walks, feeding, drop-ins, and daily routines while building good habits from the start. Dawn is absolutely incredible. She was able to hunt down our very tricky cat and successfully give her the medication she needs. Pet sitters we've used in the past we're not able to do this. She let us know about a leaking pipe outside and was there to troubleshoot. We can't imagine traveling without her.
Nancy is amazing! Even though my cat is wary of people and hid when Nancy stopped by, she still went above and beyond during every visit. She made sure my cat had everything she needed, always leaving plenty of fresh food and water and checking the litter box. Nancy was easy to communicate with and even took on the extra task of watering my plants when a heat wave rolled in. I’m so happy I found her and will absolutely be using her again in the future!
Hoai did a wonderful job caring for our two cats! We went away for a week and we really appreciated the updates that she provided each day, which included photos and videos. She was also was great about asking us questions about the cats or their supplies to ensure they were receiving the very best care.
