About: I currently work my main job freelance so my schedule is 100% open and flexible ✨I am generally at home at all hours and available to meet the needs of your kitty whenever needed! Leaving your pets home can be stressful especially if they have separation anxiety. I'll work hard to keep their routine consistent and reduce stress. I ask that your pets be up to date on vaccinations and flea preventative treatments, and during initial meeting I may check for fleas with a comb (Yes - indoor kitties can get them too!) to make sure there is absolutely no cross-infestation with any of the animals I work with c: ** A note for cats, regardless if you choose to contact me - I highly recommend to hire help that provides care in your own home (drop in/house sitting) in an environment your cat already feels safe in instead of boarding elsewhere. It would be the less stressful option for most kitties 💕
“Kristi was fantastic and left us at ease being away for a long weekend, especially when one of our kitties was shy and she went searching for them and sent pictures to reassure us. She met with us before and took detailed notes and all kitties were happy when we returned! Highly recommend and will use Kristi again :)”

“David is awesome! Very friendly, communicative and makes me feel comfortable having him in my home while I’m gone. My cats really liked him and they were in good spirits when I got home from my trip, which is important to me. One of my cats can be difficult to get to take his medicine but David was sure to spend extra time with him to get him to take the pill. Will definitely be using him again, highly recommend!”

“Zhenni was an amazing cat sitter! She was incredibly communicative and kept us well-informed about our sweetheart cat. She gave our cat all the attention and care it needed, and even sent us the most adorable pictures!”

Currently am working full-time but have a very flexible schedule. My weekends are Sundays and Mondays allowing me ample time to care for your pets. I make sure that I am aware or in the same room as the pet the entire time to make sure they are safe and relaxed.

About: My spouse Cathy and I have 2 cats, who will be celebrating their 15th birthday with us this summer! I have plenty of dog experience too- I grew up with at least one dog in the house at all times, and with 17 years as a nanny I also cared for their cats and dogs as well. I have a flexible schedule as a local small business owner, and both Cathy and I love any extra pet time we can get! I am local small business owner, and have a flexible schedule. I am up early most days (4am) so early feedings would t be a problem! I always greet the pets first, and proceed according to order of priority instructions from pet owners. (Walk, give treats, feed, check water, clean litter, etc)
“Amanda is awesome! She is kind and genuinely loves animals. She was reliable, prompt and sent me daily pictures of my very shy cat Alice. She was also kind enough to place some flowers I received in water so that they wouldn’t die. Definitely would have her watch Alice again!”

About: I worked on an animal sanctuary for 2 years that provided care for domestic and exotic animals. I have also been with Rover for about 3 years now. I have very flexible availability to help people take care of their animals I currently have 2 cats in my household that I take care of full time. The place I came from before I moved had 3 dogs that I helped my pervious roommates take care of as well. About: I taking care of pets. I'm an animal lover. I have a lot of experience caring for pets since I've had pets since I was 13 (I'm 32 now). I've been a pet sitter for my sister's 2 dogs; brother's 3 cats; my brother-in-law's 2 dogs; my parent's 2 dogs; and aunt's two dogs and 1 cat. Now, I have my own clients that love my services. I have learned a lot of behavioral training skills my friend Tony Nila, the dog trainer from tony-nila[dot]com. Overall, I put your pets needs first. If your pet has special needs, physical activities, medication, etc. I will write notes on that matter to make sure I remember. The happiness of you and your pets is my #1 priority. I will make sure they are in a safe, happy and comfortable environment. I will make sure they are fed, hydrated, and happy. I take care of pets every day. I love to take my dog on morning and evening walks around the neighborhood at the same time. Dogs love routine. It helps them prepare to eat and use the restroom. It's also important for her to sniff different scents and exercise. What are some things that might bother your pet? Does your pet bite? Is your pet mouthing? Does your pet like other pets or other people? Does your dog like to bark at or show aggression towards people/other animals? Is your pet good on walks (walk beside you without pulling on the leash or lunge forward)? Does your pet have any allergies? Does your pet need any special assistance?
“We left Oelun in charge of our kitties while we were out of town for a week and she did a stellar job! Great communication, friendly and easygoing, punctual, responsible and organized. And I got the sense that our cats were happy with the service, too. Thanks Oelun!”

Being raised around so many different animals helped shape my deep love and respect for animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. I truly believe every animal is unique and deserves individualized care. I take the time to get to know each pet I care for, learning their routines, preferences, and needs so I can provide the best possible care. I have years of experience as a trusted pet sitter for neighbors and clients, caring for pets ranging from energetic puppies and kittens to senior animals who need extra patience and attention. I am comfortable administering medications, following specific care instructions, and monitoring pets for any changes in behavior or health. I am confident working with animals of all ages and sizes and am knowledgeable about common conditions and needs of cats, dogs, and farm animals. My goal with every walk or visit is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I treat every animal as if they were my own and always show them the kindness, patience, and respect they deserve. I work part time in the evenings, so I have lots of availability in the mornings to go on walks, spend quality time playing, and give your pets plenty of attention. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and messages during visits so you can feel confident knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Hoai did an amazing job taking care of our two kitties during our trip away with family for Thanksgiving break. I appreciated the meet and greet where she took great notes. She communicated frequently and took cute photos and sent video which put our minds at ease.”

El Toro cat parents share their Rover experiences
Hoai was a better sitter than we could have imagined! She took detailed notes about the kittie’s preferences during our meet and greet, and gave us thorough updates during her drop ins. It gave us so much peace of mind, and the kitties were in great spirits. She also left the house and cat bowls spotless, which was the cherry on top!
I was nervous about an "on-line" pet sitting business model frankly when I searched for pet sitters, but I gave it a try and went to Rover.com. My pet sitter was Maggie. "Pet Sitter" doesn't begin to honor the care and love my Noodles got from Maggie. Maggie was wonderful and beyond my expectations. She came twice a day to take care, feed and played with Noodles, my 1 1/2 yr old tabby. I got videos almost every day, sometimes twice a day. I was very concerned about my Noodles, I didn't want to put her in some horrible kennel or "Pet Hotel". No matter what anyone tells you, don't leave your pet in one of those places. Rover was actually less expensive to get for better care and loving. I'll will be using Maggie exclusively from now on, and you should too.
I found Chen through Rover to drop in and take care of my two cats for six days while I was away, and she did an excellent job. From the start, she carefully wrote down all the details I shared about my cats’ routines, which gave me confidence that she truly listened and cared. Every day, she provided thorough and timely updates, including how much each cat ate, their litter box habits, and their energy levels. She consistently refreshed their water, fed them meals and treats as instructed, and made an effort to interact and engage with both cats so they wouldn’t feel lonely. Chen comes across as very responsible, well-educated, and trustworthy. Because of her attentiveness and clear communication, I felt much less anxious leaving both my cats and my home in her care. I highly recommend Chen to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter, and I will definitely book her again in the future.

Thank you for always making me feel so comfortable that Jax is taken care of no matter if it’s a check-in or a long trip. Thank you for always meeting him where he is where he wants to be playful that day or whether he’s made a mess in front of his box. I appreciate it all.

Angela has done a great job taking care of my two kitties! Great communication, accommodating my last minute modification. Jojo got acquainted with her pretty quick and started to ask for petting. Captain has always been shy but stopped hidding deeply in the closet pretty quick too.
