About: My spouse Cathy and I have 2 cats, who will be celebrating their 15th birthday with us this summer! I have plenty of dog experience too- I grew up with at least one dog in the house at all times, and with 17 years as a nanny I also cared for their cats and dogs as well. I have a flexible schedule as a local small business owner, and both Cathy and I love any extra pet time we can get! I am local small business owner, and have a flexible schedule. I am up early most days (4am) so early feedings would t be a problem! I always greet the pets first, and proceed according to order of priority instructions from pet owners. (Walk, give treats, feed, check water, clean litter, etc)

About: Dogs are my favorite thing in the world! Dogs are part of the family and deserve to be treat as such. I’ll make sure your pup is happy, safe, and comfortable. I’ve been dog sitting for about 10 years now and have a lot of experience training, walking, and raising dogs. I can be active with your pup or just lay around and give belly rubs. I understand that in order to have a happy, healthy pup everything from what they are eating to where they sleep is important. I’m very familiar with and have done extensive research on dog nutrition and how to interpret and act on dog behaviors so you know I’ll be prepared to care for your dog. Whatever your dog needs, I will be happy to do!
“The Doodles and I really enjoyed our time with Vy. I walked with her the first time as the feeding and walking can be complicated. And Charlie is a puppy and can be a challenge. Looking forward to the next dog walking session.”

I am available to work around schedules and am free to work whenever as of now. Preferably any time after 10 am will work best for me. I am also available on weekends. About: I’m an energetic, fun loving kind of girl. Love to be outdoors, walking/jogging with your dog is my jam! Responsible and reliable. I’ve owned dogs growing up and have dog sat for friends and family members often. Current living situations prevents me from owning a fur pup of my own, so getting to spend time with yours would warm my heart and they would be an extension of my family! I am available on weekends and week day evenings. I do work Monday through Friday at a 9-5. Weekends I am free morning , noon, or evening for walks/feeding/cuddles, or even house/dog sitting as well. I am flexible with schedules and reliable. Your fur baby is in good hands with me, and would get all the cuddles! I do work remote M - F. I do have a two year old that is good with animals. She may have to tag along at times when not in school. I have two black kitties, they roam free in the house and both indoor. I gotta keep them safe! I cannot offer any type of boarding at my house unfortunately.
“Ariana has been an absolute blessing for our dog, Sonya! She’s reliable, caring, and treats Sonya like her own. Every walk is filled with patience, attention, and genuine love—you can tell Sonya is always happy and well-exercised when she gets home. Ariana also communicates so well, keeping us updated and making us feel at ease knowing Sonya is in such good hands. We’re so grateful to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and wonderful dog walker!”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from young puppies to senior dogs with special needs. I currently have two senior pugs, ages 16 and 13, so I understand the patience, attention, and consistency that older dogs often require. Through my volunteer work with Pug Rescue of Korea, I have fostered more than 10 dogs, including senior dogs, arthritic dogs, and a semi-blind dog. I've also fostered five puppies and understand the extra supervision, structure, and positive reinforcement that young dogs need. One thing adopters and rescue coordinators consistently appreciate about me is my communication. I provide regular updates, photos, and notes so pet parents always know how their dog is doing. An adopter once described me as "extraordinarily communicative" and said the updates helped make her dog's transition into its new home seamless. I treat every dog as an individual and adjust my care to their personality, energy level, and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, prefers a slower pace, or simply enjoys extra attention and companionship, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I have a flexible weekday schedule that allows me to dedicate time and attention to pet care. As a small business owner, I manage my own hours and have the availability to provide reliable walks and check-ins throughout the week. Dogs are already a big part of my daily life. I care for my two senior pugs and continue to volunteer and foster through rescue organizations for several years. I enjoy spending time with dogs, getting outside, and helping them stay active and happy. I'm available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday and look forward to getting to know your pet. Safety, reliability, and communication are my top priorities. As a dog owner, foster volunteer, and rescue volunteer, I understand that every dog has different needs, energy levels, and routines. During walks and drop-in visits, I carefully follow each owner's instructions and pay close attention to leash safety, hydration, and each dog's comfort level. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, arthritic dogs, and a semi-blind dog, so I'm comfortable adapting to different needs and walking paces. I also respect my clients' homes and strive to be dependable, professional, and attentive. I'll provide updates and photos so you can feel confident that your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

“Rebecca is the best doggy provider a pet owner can ask for. She is professional but vary down to earth and compassionate. I would not hesitate to use her services in the future!”

“Michele is our go to dog walker! She takes great care of Lucy and helps us feed her dinner and leave lights on after dark. Michele also takes a lot of photos of Lucy so we know she's doing well.”

“Bradey was very responsive to my questions, easy to communicate with. Sent great pics and updates of our pets, 3 yo Lab/Pitt mix & middle aged cat. Took our dog on 30 minute walks AM/PM and tracked each time. Bradey offered to meet us before we left town to make sure she was a good fit. We will be using her services again on our next trip out of town.”

“If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog with the utmost care and who you can trust completely, look no further than Rich. I booked with him to walk my dog, who is extremely fearful and cautious with strangers. Rich was so patient with him and really took the time to win Wesley over. By the second walk, Wesley was trotting around with him and smiling. Thank you, Rich!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - El Toro
Great dog walker. I wasn’t sure how my dog would do but she looked so happy when she was back from her walk. Maggie was super nice, friendly and excited. You can tell how much she enjoys walking the dogs. Loved her energy since my little one can be nutty sometimes. Already rebooking with her. Also she took some great photos during the walk. I would recommend her.
Angela knows how to put a dog at ease. This was her first time walking Brownie, who’s anxious and distrustful, she approached him gently and offer treats, a pro move that calmed Brownie. She knows how to handle a dog on a leash. My dog can react to strangers, including humans, and she handled him very well when we encountered other dogs on the walk. I highly recommend Angela for dog walking.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
