About: I grew up with a very energetic dog and have helped various neighbors and family with walks, meals, and play time. I have been around many the personalities and worked as a dog groomer where I learned skills on proper dog-handling and de-escalation for stressed/anxious pups. I pride myself on being detail oriented and focused, maintaining a safe environment for your furry friends. I am currently working part time and I have a very flexible schedule during the daytime. I provide pet care as needed in my community. I am very respectful and responsible when it comes to being in others’ homes. She makes sure to take a water break and the dogs lap it up and are ready to continue on. When our American Staffordshire Terrier wants to lay down for a break, Ilana is so patient and lets him rest until he’s ready to walk back. We can’t recommend Ilana enough. About: I’ve taken care of several types of dogs and cats of different sizes and breeds. I always know the owner knows best. I like to make sure to care for the pet the same way you guys would. I want them to feel safe and secure around someone new. I know how to read body language and observe any safety issues. I can come to a home every 4 to 8 hours. If that is too long for your pet, I can facilitate another rover at no additional charge. I always make sure I understand the food plan and the medication plan first. This is the most important part of any care. Once those two are handled, I like to discuss walk frequency and paths, play time preferences, and treat options.
