Priscilla (along with husband and kids) left us feeling so assured that Penny was thoroughly loved during our time away. Not only did Priscilla give us frequent updates with pics and videos, she also gave us training and enrichment tips with some of the toys they had vetted with their dog Finn beforehand and got to use with Penny while she was there. “Ellie recently cared for our two dogs while we were away for several days. From the moment we dropped them off, it was evident that Ellie takes her job as a caregiver very seriously. She has a nice set up for both dogs, with beds, crates, and a fenced outdoor area for play. She adhered to the general schedule we provided, and offered a balanced diet, exercise and walk routines, lots of cuddles, and a comfortable area for them to rest. This is the first time we've ever had our dogs come home more well behaved than when we left. Ellie clearly loves the dogs in her care; she's warm, patient, and genuinely affectionate. She goes out of her way to create a positive and nurturing environment, and even offered some great suggestions for later, when she noticed Max didn't really care for his food. We also received multiple daily updates, both photo and video, and loved seeing what they were up to throughout the day. It was very reassuring. Our younger dog is anxious and not well socialized; she had a rough upbringing before she came to us and we've never boarded her because we didn't know if she would be comfortable. She did so well, and we feel like we can travel occasionally again, knowing that our dogs will be safe, happy, and well cared for with Ellie and her family.”

Our fur kids are very used to new siblings coming in the home. We have been fostering for PACT FOR ANIMALS for years. They provide foster homes for military personnel.
About: Hi! I'm Debbie, and caring for animals has been my passion for most of my life. I began volunteering at a veterinary hospital as a teenager and was hired at just 16 years old. I pursued veterinary technology, passed the California Registered Veterinary Technician state board examination in 2011, and have spent nearly two decades working in small animal veterinary medicine. While I no longer maintain an active RVT license, I continue working in the veterinary field and use the knowledge and experience I've gained over the years every day. My background includes caring for puppies and kittens, healthy adult pets, senior pets, and animals with chronic medical conditions. I'm experienced with administering oral medications, eye and ear medications, injections, sub-q fluids, topical treatments, and providing attentive care to pets that need a little extra support. Animals have always been a huge part of my life beyond my career. I'm a proud Mom, wife, dog owner and chicken keeper, and I also have experience caring for parrots and other companion birds. I enjoy grooming my own dogs and have experience with routine grooming, including bathing, brushing, nail trims, and styling. In addition to companion animals, I'm comfortable caring for backyard flocks and many ranch and farm animals, understanding that each species has its own unique routines and needs. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to know your animals are safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I strive to keep pets comfortable, maintain their routines, and provide plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your furry (and feathered!) family members are in caring, experienced hands. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, medication, companionship, or care for your backyard flock or small farm, I'd be honored to care for them as if they were my own. Between being a Mom to older children/wife/part-time vet tech, my schedule allows me to fit in jobs to care for other's pets while they are going out of town for the day or longer. About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with German Shepherds, a Cocker Spaniel, and a mixed-breed dog. Later, when I started my own family, we welcomed Fiera, our Labrador Retriever. She grew up alongside my children—they were like siblings and partners in crime. If your dog isn’t acting like themselves, isn’t eating normally, or just seems “off,” I’ll notice and I’ll let you know. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions, whether it’s feeding routines, walks, medications, or special care. I have experience giving oral medications, eye and ear medications, topical treatments, and subcutaneous injections when prescribed by a veterinarian. When I’m caring for your dog, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages. While you’re away, I’m also happy to bring in mail and packages, water indoor or outdoor plants, rotate lights if requested, and help keep your home looking lived-in. Just let me know what you need, and I’ll do my best to help. 🐾 Health & Safety For the health and safety of all pets in my home, all dogs staying with me must be current on veterinarian-recommended vaccinations and on an active flea and tick prevention program. I understand that some dogs may be unable to receive certain vaccines or use standard flea/tick preventatives for medical reasons. If your dog has a documented medical restriction, please let me know before booking so we can discuss your veterinarian’s recommendations and determine whether I can safely accommodate your pet. All boarding guests must arrive flea- and tick-free. If fleas or ticks are discovered during your dog’s stay, I will contact you before administering any treatment. The pet parent will be responsible for the cost of any approved treatment, as well as a $100 flea cleaning fee to cover the additional cleaning and sanitizing required in my home. Any extraordinary professional pest-control expenses resulting from an active infestation may also be the pet parent’s responsibility. Please also let me know in advance about any medical conditions, medication sensitivities, vaccine reactions, allergies, or other important health information. ❤️ I’m currently completing professional training from home, so I spend most of my day at home. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of companionship for the pets in my care. Our home is shared with our small dog, Glitch, and our indoor cat, Vinnie. Both are important members of our family. Glitch enjoys having canine visitors, and he has always done well with dogs in our home. To keep everyone safe and comfortable, I carefully introduce dogs and only accept dogs that are friendly with cats. We have a fully fenced yard. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s normal routine, including using a crate if they’re already crate trained and comfortable with it.

She will pee multiple times as she is older and needs more frequent walks so less accidents happen I have a small patio and lots of yard space to walk my dog. “Ellie recently cared for our two dogs while we were away for several days. From the moment we dropped them off, it was evident that Ellie takes her job as a caregiver very seriously. She has a nice set up for both dogs, with beds, crates, and a fenced outdoor area for play. She adhered to the general schedule we provided, and offered a balanced diet, exercise and walk routines, lots of cuddles, and a comfortable area for them to rest. This is the first time we've ever had our dogs come home more well behaved than when we left. Ellie clearly loves the dogs in her care; she's warm, patient, and genuinely affectionate. She goes out of her way to create a positive and nurturing environment, and even offered some great suggestions for later, when she noticed Max didn't really care for his food. We also received multiple daily updates, both photo and video, and loved seeing what they were up to throughout the day. It was very reassuring. Our younger dog is anxious and not well socialized; she had a rough upbringing before she came to us and we've never boarded her because we didn't know if she would be comfortable. She did so well, and we feel like we can travel occasionally again, knowing that our dogs will be safe, happy, and well cared for with Ellie and her family.”
