As a fellow Rover host, it pained me to be rejected by multiple hosts when they stereotyped the breed but not Ellie. She responded very quickly to the meet-and-greet, and Bella was such a sweet and calm girl. Ryder was unique in his own way, just as another mini schnauzer that I take care of. These pups are the perfect combination for Toby. Ellie handled Toby's anxiety very well on the first day, and Toby was completely chilling starting on day 2. Ellie sent countless photos and videos and gave us peace of mind during our hectic trip. Toby got to play fetch in the front, hang out in the backyard, sunbathe and get cozy with others inside the house. Her backyard is double-fenced/gated on all sides, and her house is in a very safe neighborhood. Toby had the best vacation!”

I am excited to open my home to offer loving care and attention for your pet. My husband is also usually home and is good at painting pet portraits as an extra service! I offer daytime daycare, overnight stays in my home, energetic walks, or drop-in visits to keep your pet comfortable in their own space. I enjoy two beautiful Grandcats that belong to my daughter and would love to visit your cats, birds in your home up to twice a day. I am retired, so I am able to be home most of the day with your pet. I enjoy walking and would love to walk your dog. I am also happy to do home drop ins up to 2 times per day for your dogs, cats or birds, and will follow whatever routine your animal requires! I adapt easily to whatever your dog needs to thrive. They will be treated as a member of the family. I prefer one dog at a time in my home for daycare or spending the night. I have a fenced back yard for playing, and a comfortable home for your dog to be in. I will walk the dog at least twice a day to Valyermo Park which is near my home. More energetic dogs can join me walking the Oso Creek Trail, which I walk regularly. I can walk your dog in your neighborhood , or drop-in visits to keep your pet (dog, cat, birds)comfortable in their own space.

About: I’ve always been around animals and genuinely love them, especially Golden Retrievers. My friends and family trust me with their dogs because I actually enjoy spending time with them. I hang out with them, play with them, take them on walks, and make sure they get plenty of attention. I don’t personally have a dog at the moment because I travel from time to time, but dogs have always been a big part of my life. My wife has owned two dogs, and I’ve personally had cats, so I’m very comfortable around animals and caring for them. I’m patient, calm, and good at building trust, especially with pets who may need a little time to warm up. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I will personally be the one providing all care for any pets booked through my Rover profile. I’m available mornings and evenings for dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding. I enjoy spending real time with the pets I care for, whether that means going on walks, playing, hanging out, or just keeping them company. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how they’re doing. Since I live in an apartment, the best fit would be a dog who is house trained, calm indoors, and comfortable using either the elevator or stairs. They should also be able to settle without excessive barking. I’m happy to spend plenty of time with them, play, go on walks, and keep them company. I just ask that they don’t have aggressive behavior, biting, frequent accidents, or destructive habits. A quick meet-and-greet beforehand would be great so we can make sure everyone feels comfortable and it’s a good fit.

Radhika was great with my senior dog! She was patient with him as he adjusted to a new space and administered his medication on time. My dog had so much fun while he was there, he almost didn’t want to leave! She also sent many photos and updates so I never worried about him while we were away.
My dog and I had our meet and greet and instantly fell in love with Patty and her family. My dog jumped on the couch and fell asleep, he seemed to feel right at home. He also became BFF with her puppy Glitch. I was gone for 3 weeks and was 100% comfortable with where my puppy was. This was our second time leaving Chomp with Annie & as soon as we drove into her neighborhood & he realized where he was going, he got so excited & was so happy to see her. Annie always sends us the cutest updates and Chomp has the best time with her. We always feel super comfortable leaving him in her care because we know she really prioritizes the safety and happiness of the pups she watches. We will absolutely be booking with her again!
We used Jordana for the first time for our two labs (ages 12 and 6), to board for 9 nights. She was great and communicated with us almost daily providing updates and photos. It allowed us to enjoy our vacation and have the peace of mind our pups were in good hands. She was super flexible with drop off and pick up times being that weren’t the most convenient or business hour friendly which was so appreciative and allowed us flexibility with our travels.
Todd kept our Goldendoodle for 8 days last week. We were extremely happy with the care that he gave our pup. He regularly communicated with us, sharing stories and pictures. I would recommend Todd to anyone who has a special pup that likes a lot of attention. He's terrific!
Grace had the best time with Neha and her family! Grace stayed an entire month so it was crucial for me to know that she was going to be taken care of appropriately, especially as I was going abroad. This is a stressful time for a dog owner as you want to be sure you are making the right choice. Immediately after meeting with Neha and her husband, I knew that she would be well at Neha's. Grace and Hachi (Neha's dog) hit it off nicely and got along together quickly. Neha's house was very welcoming and dog friendly. Neha and her husband were very kind, they wanted to be sure they could provide appropriate care for my dog and that their dog and mine would get along. All the conditions were there for me, really. During my trip, I was getting pictures daily, and I could tell Grace felt at home there, I saw her playing, resting, smiling. I almost fell bad she would have to leave because she no longer have dog friends to play with at home (my other dog passed away recently). I would definitely ask Neha to watch Grace again and we talked about having play dates for Grace and Hachi in the near future. 5 stars! Well deserved!
This was our first time leaving our Carly with anyone other than family and the first time ever leaving her this long (8 nights!). It is very clear that Sondra and Kirk are huge animal lovers and we felt comfortable leaving our "baby" in their care. Sondra was very communicative and Carly came home happy and exhausted :)
