I was born and raised in Switzerland where I grew up with 5 different types of pets at a time, including 1 Border Collie, 1 Belgian Shepherd, rescue cats, geckos, newts, mice, tortoises and rabbits - yes, we had it all! I have been living 'abroad' for the past 10 years and I have been in the US for the past 4. My husband and I own an Australian Shepherd that we rescued from a shelter in Brooklyn, New York. We've been using Rover as clients and it is now the time that I switch sides. My husband and I work from home so they will always be someone to take care of your pet. Our Australian Shepherd wakes up around 7:00 a.m. and we feed him twice a day and go out three times a day in the neighborhood, and sometimes we even go to the beach in our EV where he has a dedicated space that he can share. We live in a quiet neighborhood in the three bedroom house where we have plenty of space for dogs and cats (2,000 sqft). We actually have so much space that we have three beds for our dog excluding the sofa and our bed :)

This was our first time leaving our Carly with anyone other than family and the first time ever leaving her this long (8 nights!). It is very clear that Sondra and Kirk are huge animal lovers and we felt comfortable leaving our "baby" in their care. Sondra was very communicative and Carly came home happy and exhausted :)
Suleyman was excellent with my dog Lolo. I often worry about her because she is a timid and is easily frightened but she warmed up to Suleyman quickly and was happy and at ease while in her care.
