“Ellie recently cared for our two dogs while we were away for several days. From the moment we dropped them off, it was evident that Ellie takes her job as a caregiver very seriously. She has a nice set up for both dogs, with beds, crates, and a fenced outdoor area for play. She adhered to the general schedule we provided, and offered a balanced diet, exercise and walk routines, lots of cuddles, and a comfortable area for them to rest. This is the first time we've ever had our dogs come home more well behaved than when we left. Ellie clearly loves the dogs in her care; she's warm, patient, and genuinely affectionate. She goes out of her way to create a positive and nurturing environment, and even offered some great suggestions for later, when she noticed Max didn't really care for his food. We also received multiple daily updates, both photo and video, and loved seeing what they were up to throughout the day. It was very reassuring. Our younger dog is anxious and not well socialized; she had a rough upbringing before she came to us and we've never boarded her because we didn't know if she would be comfortable. She did so well, and we feel like we can travel occasionally again, knowing that our dogs will be safe, happy, and well cared for with Ellie and her family.”

Our cat is quite anxious and I was worried about leaving her but I quickly felt at ease knowing that Patty was coming twice a day and communicating regularly with lots of detail about how the cat was doing and everything else related to the house. About: Hi! I’m a recent magna cum laude graduate of Oregon State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a focus in Crime & Justice, along with minors in Criminology and Political Science. During nearly three years of college, I worked at a coffee shop located inside OSU’s veterinary hospital, which was such a unique and rewarding experience. I loved being surrounded by animals every day and interacting with students and staff who shared that same passion. I learned a lot about animal safety, got plenty of time with pups, and was always happy to hand out a free pup cup (when diet-approved, of course!). My love for dogs started very early. I grew up with my rescue dog Bruce, a Black Lab/Chow mix, from the time I was six years old and he was a pup until he passed at 15 and a half years old last May. He was truly my best friend and a huge part of my life—I spent years walking him, playing fetch, and caring for him full-time. In 2022, my family adopted another rescue, Phoebe, who came from a traumatic background and needed a lot of patience, structure, and care. I was heavily involved in her training process—from potty training and leash work to helping her adjust to a safe, loving home. It was a learning experience that required consistency and compassion, and it was incredibly rewarding to watch her grow into the calm, happy, and well-behaved dog she is today. She now loves walks, hikes, and being around people and other dogs. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I frequently volunteered with and donated to a local humane society in Corvallis during college. Through their “Doggy Day Out” program, I would take shelter dogs out for the day—whether that meant walks at the park, pup cups, or simply relaxing at home with plenty of cuddles. I always tailored each outing to the dog’s energy level, age, and personality, making sure they felt safe, comfortable, and loved outside of the shelter environment. I’ve also cared for dogs outside my home, including helping raise and train a puppy for a close friend—handling walks, feeding, drop-ins, and daily routines while building good habits from the start. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love working with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and backgrounds. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a senior dog who needs a gentler pace, I’m committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m currently home for the summer in San Clemente and Rancho Santa Margarita through July 28, and will return again starting September 1. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions, whether it’s feeding routines, walks, medications, or special care. I have experience giving oral medications, eye and ear medications, topical treatments, and subcutaneous injections when prescribed by a veterinarian. When I’m caring for your dog, I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages. While you’re away, I’m also happy to bring in mail and packages, water indoor or outdoor plants, rotate lights if requested, and help keep your home looking lived-in. Just let me know what you need, and I’ll do my best to help. 🐾 Health & Safety For the health and safety of all pets in my home, all dogs staying with me must be current on veterinarian-recommended vaccinations and on an active flea and tick prevention program. I understand that some dogs may be unable to receive certain vaccines or use standard flea/tick preventatives for medical reasons. If your dog has a documented medical restriction, please let me know before booking so we can discuss your veterinarian’s recommendations and determine whether I can safely accommodate your pet. All boarding guests must arrive flea- and tick-free. If fleas or ticks are discovered during your dog’s stay, I will contact you before administering any treatment. The pet parent will be responsible for the cost of any approved treatment, as well as a $100 flea cleaning fee to cover the additional cleaning and sanitizing required in my home. Any extraordinary professional pest-control expenses resulting from an active infestation may also be the pet parent’s responsibility. Please also let me know in advance about any medical conditions, medication sensitivities, vaccine reactions, allergies, or other important health information. ❤️ I’m currently completing professional training from home, so I spend most of my day at home. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of companionship for the pets in my care. Our home is shared with our small dog, Glitch, and our indoor cat, Vinnie. Both are important members of our family. Glitch enjoys having canine visitors, and he has always done well with dogs in our home. To keep everyone safe and comfortable, I carefully introduce dogs and only accept dogs that are friendly with cats. We have a fully fenced yard. I’m happy to accommodate your dog’s normal routine, including using a crate if they’re already crate trained and comfortable with it.

About: Hi! I’m a recent magna cum laude graduate of Oregon State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a focus in Crime & Justice, along with minors in Criminology and Political Science. During nearly three years of college, I worked at a coffee shop located inside OSU’s veterinary hospital, which was such a unique and rewarding experience. I loved being surrounded by animals every day and interacting with students and staff who shared that same passion. I learned a lot about animal safety, got plenty of time with pups, and was always happy to hand out a free pup cup (when diet-approved, of course!). My love for dogs started very early. I grew up with my rescue dog Bruce, a Black Lab/Chow mix, from the time I was six years old and he was a pup until he passed at 15 and a half years old last May. He was truly my best friend and a huge part of my life—I spent years walking him, playing fetch, and caring for him full-time. In 2022, my family adopted another rescue, Phoebe, who came from a traumatic background and needed a lot of patience, structure, and care. I was heavily involved in her training process—from potty training and leash work to helping her adjust to a safe, loving home. It was a learning experience that required consistency and compassion, and it was incredibly rewarding to watch her grow into the calm, happy, and well-behaved dog she is today. She now loves walks, hikes, and being around people and other dogs. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I frequently volunteered with and donated to a local humane society in Corvallis during college. Through their “Doggy Day Out” program, I would take shelter dogs out for the day—whether that meant walks at the park, pup cups, or simply relaxing at home with plenty of cuddles. I always tailored each outing to the dog’s energy level, age, and personality, making sure they felt safe, comfortable, and loved outside of the shelter environment. I’ve also cared for dogs outside my home, including helping raise and train a puppy for a close friend—handling walks, feeding, drop-ins, and daily routines while building good habits from the start. I’m responsible, attentive, and genuinely love working with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and backgrounds. Whether it’s an energetic puppy or a senior dog who needs a gentler pace, I’m committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m currently home for the summer in San Clemente and Rancho Santa Margarita through July 28, and will return again starting September 1. During these times, I have full availability and a very flexible schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all routines—feeding, walks, medications, and preferences—so your dog feels as normal and stress-free as possible. “Ellie recently cared for our two dogs while we were away for several days. From the moment we dropped them off, it was evident that Ellie takes her job as a caregiver very seriously. She has a nice set up for both dogs, with beds, crates, and a fenced outdoor area for play. She adhered to the general schedule we provided, and offered a balanced diet, exercise and walk routines, lots of cuddles, and a comfortable area for them to rest. This is the first time we've ever had our dogs come home more well behaved than when we left. Ellie clearly loves the dogs in her care; she's warm, patient, and genuinely affectionate. She goes out of her way to create a positive and nurturing environment, and even offered some great suggestions for later, when she noticed Max didn't really care for his food. We also received multiple daily updates, both photo and video, and loved seeing what they were up to throughout the day. It was very reassuring. Our younger dog is anxious and not well socialized; she had a rough upbringing before she came to us and we've never boarded her because we didn't know if she would be comfortable.
