Crazy Dog Mom
My name is Alison, and I've always had a dog by my side. I am a proud dog mom to four dogs -- a husky, a min pin, a german shepard, and a golden retriever -- and I currently work at a doggy day care where dog parents trust me with their furry companions. For the past seven years, I have been working at doggy daycare and boarding facilities. Although I usually summarize my job by saying, "I play with dogs," it does encompass more. With each dog that comes in for either daycare or boarding, I have to familiarize myself with its temperament. This includes knowledge of the breed, past and current medical conditions, and body language. I also have to feed the dogs and administer medications as needed. At this job, I do treat each dog as my own. Here on Rover, I would like to expand my love for dogs and help those who are uncomfortable sending their pups to boarding facility. Thus, I can provide at-home-sitting and dog walking. I do work part time at the moment, so I am available mornings and evenings, but my schedule is very flexible. I look forward to getting to know you and your dogs!

Working at a boarding facility, I understand how scary it is to leave town and leave your furry companion with someone else. Thus, prior to sitting, I do like to do a meet and greet at your home, just so your pup and I can meet, and I can familiarize myself with the environment. At this time, you can give my any instructions needed to make you feel comfortable leaving your pup with me. When you are away, I am free in the mornings to mid-afternoon, and then any time after 5. I am willing to stay at the house overnight if needed.

This was our first time using Rover as our regular sitters were unavailable. I am so impressed with Alison and cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She came to meet me and the dogs a week before our trip, and I could tell right away she was responsible, knowledgeable and loving. She was extremely communicative before and during our stay, she sent daily updates and photos and quickly won over our shy little rescue, which was such a pleasant surprise. I will absolutely rebook with Alison and I’m so grateful for her care.
Alisson was such a wonderful pet/house sitter. She was very informative sending updates and photos of the dogs. Our dogs loved her! One of our dogs usually isn’t the most comfortable with strangers but he warmed up to Alisson right away no issues. We completely felt that our home and dogs were in great hands while we were away. We will definitely be repeat customers of Alisson.
Alison was amazing! She was open to a last minute booking and even came and visited with us before our trip began. She kept us updated and sent us photos. We will absolutely be asking her to help us care for Wilo while we’re gone again!

Alison was great. We will definitely have her stay with the dogs again. She sent daily updates and has great communication. She understands that some dogs need a little extra love and care. Our dogs were happy when we got home and I know they got extra care.

Schedule
I currently work part time, so have plenty of time for your dogs! From Tuesdays-Fridays, I am available early morning until 12, and then any time after 5. On Saturdays-Monday, I am generally available after 5.
Prices include all fees.
