“Did absolutely amazing with our rescue dog. Sent me pictures and videos, even made sure she drank water and that she was comfortable before putting her back in her kennel. 100% recommend her to walk your fur babies!”

“Susan is absolutely wonderful! My dog liked her instantly when she came by for a meet and greet and I knew that was a great sign. She took good care of my dog and went above and beyond to make sure she got a good walk. I highly recommend Susan for anyone who’s looking for reliable and loving care for their pet!”

About: I have 8+ years of pet sitting experience, in addition to caring for my dachshund from ages 2 to 14. Since her passing last year, we have a pet-free home and backyard suitable for hosting dogs and cats and a lot of love and attention to give. Our dog was also VERY food motivated and would try to eat anything vaguely edible in the house. Because of this, we are still in the habit of keeping all foods out of pet-reach, including in the kitchen, purses/bags, and trash cans. I am currently job-seeking, which can be done from any location and allows me to have a completely flexible schedule, all days and hours of the week. I have a 2 story pet-free home with a fenced in backyard with grass. We have dog beds, dog stairs for the couch, and a small crate available. I only host 1 client at a time in my home (1 or 2 dogs from the same household). This means your pets will get my full attention, and there won’t be any issues with reactive dogs.
“Kristie is outstanding! She was extremely patient with my reactive and fearful dog, spent a lot of time getting to know her, and make her feel safe and comfortable. She has obviously a lot of experience handling dogs and I would highly recommend her!”

About: I am the biggest animal lover at heart. I truly believe that pets are family, and they deserve the same love, patience, and attention as any human. I've always had a deep connection with animals of all kinds, and spending time with them brings me so much joy. I have professional experience working at a dog daycare, where I was responsible for supervising playgroups, feeding, administering medications when needed, cleaning, and making sure every dog was happy, safe, and well cared for. I've worked with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels, from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs. I'm comfortable with high-energy dogs, shy dogs, and everything in between. Safety, trust, and keeping pets happy are always my top priorities. My journey on Rover is trying to work for myself and my furry friends because I love the freedom of constructing my own hours and creating a schedule that works for both me and the pets I care for. To me, taking care of animals is not a job - it is a privilege. I don't take that lightly. Every pet in my care will be treated like my own, with endless love, attention, and respect. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, overnight care, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, I will be there to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I love being able to create my own hours and work around each pet’s individual routine and needs. I’m available for overnight stays, boarding, walks, drop-ins, and extended daytime care. I’m happy to communicate with you beforehand to make sure your pet’s normal schedule is followed as closely as possible while you’re away. Safety, trust & environment Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort are my absolute top priorities! 🐾 I provide care exclusively in the client’s home, which means your pet gets to stay in the place they know and love while keeping their normal routine. “I needed Kayla to come in/out on her own during my recovery time. Mac loved his walks and she quickly settled him at door which I appreciated. So grateful for you Kayla! Thank you.”

About: From as long back as I can remember I’ve had pets of all kinds. I was the kid that brought strays home. I’m the person that an owner of a stubborn pet will say to “wow! They actually like you.” It’s hard for me to put into words how much I love animals. I have pets of my own and know how hard it is to trust others with them. I just want to help pets who have owners that need to go away for a bit feel safe in that change. And I want to give you peace of mind that your fur-babies are being taken care of. I’m here to help them and to help you. I’ve never lived a day without having a dog. I’ve cared for and watched over many dogs of my own, of family’s and of friend’s. Professionally I have walked for Wag! and continued on as a personal/private house and dog sitter for a couple who traveled on average once a month. I held this position for almost three years. I bonded with and stayed in their home with their dog consistently to maintain her routine when her owners were away. Growing up I’ve had dogs of many breeds and sizes. I take pride in my ability to connect and communicate with dogs and to understand their unique ways of communicating. I have a natural affinity for them. I find genuine joy in entertaining and caring for animals, and making them feel and comfortable and stable while you’re away. Feel free to reach out or request a free met-and-greet! I am a recent graduate working part time. I am able to easily accommodate in-home, over-night care. My job is 9-5 or 10-5 depending on the day, so the days I work I will be able to easily do morning and evening care routines, and if you’re close enough to my work place I can take long lunches for mid-day walks, check-ins, and potty breaks. The days I am off, I will be able to stay with them all day. I have flexibility with my schedule so given 2 weeks notice I can move my work schedule to have days off during my stay. Reach out to discuss these options! When staying at a client’s house or even just stopping by for the day, I like to know the animal’s regular routine and will do my best to follow it. I do everything I can to bond with the animal and to gain their trust, showing them that I am not a threat. I will engage in anything they enjoy from snuggling, playing, walking etc. Whatever they need I will happily provide. As long as I have a clear description of their routine and needs I’m confident they will be happy and comfortable with me. I am uniquely skilled at connecting with animals of all kinds. I am able to determine their unique style of communication and abide by it. My speciality is in-home over-night stays. I will be work to maintain their regular routine.
“Brady absolutely loves his walks with Jay! He looks so happy when he gets picked up, his tail wags away as they go for walks. My pooch is a "hard walker", he pulls & and at times he has reactivity issues towards other dogs, but Jay seems to know how to handle him. They definitely have a connection! Jay also has an easy going personality & he's been trust worthy regarding the schedule. Super happy to have discovered Jay as Brady's dog walker!🐾😊”

Cassie was fantastic! You could tell she’s really caring your dog.She took great care of my husky and made sure he got plenty of exercise ,water and attention during his walk. She was reliable, communicative, and sent thoughtful updates, which gave me peace of mind. My dog came home happy and tired, and it’s clear Cassie genuinely cares about the pets she works with. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker!

Lan has been amazing with my dog! She is patient, kind, and genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. My pup always comes back happy and well-exercised. Her communication is great, and I love receiving the walk summaries and pictures. So grateful to have found her!

Susan is absolutely wonderful! My dog liked her instantly when she came by for a meet and greet and I knew that was a great sign. She took good care of my dog and went above and beyond to make sure she got a good walk. I highly recommend Susan for anyone who’s looking for reliable and loving care for their pet!

10/10! This was my first experience with rover and Lainie was awesome! I reached out pretty last minute, she got back to me immediately! I really appreciated that she proactively let me know she wouldn’t be available until about 15 minutes after one of my requested times and checked to make sure that was okay before confirming through the app. Even a longer delay wouldn’t have mattered, as long as my dog received love and attention, but her communication and professionalism truly stood out.

I couldn’t be happier with Yan! She took excellent care of my energetic husky, kept me updated at walk, and really treated him like family. She’s very on time professional, love and caring! It’s such a relief knowing he’s in good hands when I’m away. Definitely booking again!
