Pet care experience
I have experience working as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital for 1 year. During passed visits, I have take taken care of elderly dogs who need to be checked on frequently and take medications and injections as well as puppies and cats. I’ve been a previous dog owner and have also accompanied my sister who also pet sits on Rover for little over a year before I started my own account, and I am very familiar with how the process works.

One of our dogs has a medical condition, and Vanessa is always patient and attentive—especially with our Malinois who has Addison’s. She truly understands how to handle her needs with care and confidence. We always come home to a clean house and happy, well cared for dogs. Vanessa is incredibly trustworthy, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.
Vanessa took wonderful care of our three dogs while house sitting—keeping them happy, well-exercised, and on their routine. Communication was excellent, with regular updates and photos that gave us peace of mind. We came home to a clean house and very content pups. Highly recommend and would absolutely book again!
Great experience, Vanessa was responsive, punctual and provided updates and pics. She also seemed to have no problem with our dog who is a bit more challenging
