About: I’m a professional woman, early 40’s, no kids, no other pets, non-smoking home, and live in a townhome in Coto. I work from home when I’m not traveling to client sites- I’m a healthcare compliance consultant. I learned about Rover years ago after using it for my own former pets. My dogs: lab/pit mix, and a terrier mix, and two cats- all rescues. I also grew up with snakes, lizards and fish because I have a sister who is allergic to fur, so home-sitting reptiles is not a problem. As I mentioned, I travel often and don’t think having my own pet is a responsible, caring choice at this time. So, instead, I’d love to take care of your fur babies when I’m not traveling. Because I work from home, you can expect my 24/7 attention. During the day, conference calls can be taken during long walks, or I can work on my laptop from the dog park. I’d love to have them snooze at my feet in my office as I type away. In the evening it’s just Netflix and play. While I don’t have my own backyard, I’m just steps from one of our amazing trails, so frequent potty breaks are easy. I’m comfortable with animals on my furniture or co-sleeping. But I also am comfortable with crating as I did this with my larger dogs. Pets with special needs are welcome. Please supply any special toys, treats, food, and maybe even one of your old tee-shirts to help with the temporary transition. Also, I prefer to do a quick pre-sit meet and greet to ensure that everyone is comfortable, and you’re welcome to come see my home if I’ll be hosting. I work from home, so I am generally available 24/7. I will plan my schedule around a booking. I will never leave your pet home alone during a visit. If I need to step out I will do my best to alert you in advance and will have my pet-friendly boyfriend of 8 years step in for an hour or two. I really want to mirror your existing schedule as much as possible to prevent pet anxiety. Please leave instructions and I’m happy to follow them.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i was young. I am also a nanny who dogs sits my family’s dogs on a regular basis! I have done so with all my nanny families over the last 4 years in their home and in my own home for weeks at a time! I currently work a nanny job in the early morning for school drop offs plus a part time restaurant job a few days of the week so most of my time is free! I have dogs and a newer pup so we are dog/puppy proofed in my house! Fenced backyard and lots of room to wiggle around in my home!

About: Loving Care From Someone Who Truly Understands Hi, I’m Tara! 🐾 A few weeks ago, I said goodbye to my best friend, my boy, after almost 16 incredible years together. He was my everything, and caring for him through every stage of his life taught me more about dogs than I ever could have imagined. I always had a hard time finding someone I truly trusted to care for him. My mom was the person who always helped me, and after losing her in 2023, finding that same sense of comfort and trust became even harder. I know firsthand how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone, especially when they need extra attention, medication, patience, or simply someone who will sit with them and make them feel loved. I would especially say I have a soft spot for senior dogs. ❤️ After nearly 16 years with my own dog, I learned through plenty of trial and error how to care for an aging pup and adjust to their changing needs. I know that sometimes the little things make the biggest difference. I work full-time remotely, which gives me flexibility to provide the kind of attention dogs deserve. I’m not looking to fill my schedule with as many dogs as possible. I’m here because I have so much love to give and I know there are dogs out there who need a little extra care and companionship. I’m not quite ready to have another dog of my own yet. The love I had for my boy after 16 years is hard to put into words, and I’m still learning how to navigate life without him. Caring for other dogs feels like a really special way for me to continue giving that love while I heal and, someday, prepare for another dog of my own. My promise to you is simple: I will treat your dog like they are my own. I’ll take the extra steps, pay attention to the little things, communicate with you, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Although, I don’t have a “backyard”, I’m used to taking my old dog on ~8 walks/day around and miss the walks and interactions with neighbors.
About: I previously held a job at Smart Parke, a dog daycare and boarding facility. I’ve fostered dogs for the past two years so I have experience working with dogs of various personalities. I’m a recent college grad navigating the job search (it’s tough out there!) and looking to make an income in the meantime. I am free at all hours and days of the week. If you prefer to have your dog(s) stay over at my home, I have a fenced backyard and large house for them to roam, and I also have two French bulldogs who are super friendly and silly, I just ask that your fur baby is also ok around other dogs. If you choose to have me go to your home, I will let your pets be the boss and follow their rules and understand what they’re comfortable with (and yours of course too!).
