About: Hello, At our home we are really down to earth and love dogs. I am home most days so I play with the pups often and always know what is going on. My husband is home after 3pm on weekdays and always on weekends. Our home has A/C and heat if needed. We have a spacious backyard so dogs can run, play and explore as much as they want. The dogs have the option to come in and out as they please. We are ok with the dogs on couches and beds. We have one dog, Stevie, who is a rescue and very sweet border collie lab mix who gets along with all dogs. We will treat your dog like part of our family. We will only have one dog and Stevie at a time so as to give extra care and attention. If special circumstance comes up, we may take 2dogs or overlap for few days but will always tell you that upfront. We provide updates via text pic or video and/or email if you wish. I hang out with them, play with them, take them on walks, and make sure they get plenty of attention. I don’t personally have a dog at the moment because I travel from time to time, but dogs have always been a big part of my life. My wife has owned two dogs, and I’ve personally had cats, so I’m very comfortable around animals and caring for them. I’m patient, calm, and good at building trust, especially with pets who may need a little time to warm up. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I will personally be the one providing all care for any pets booked through my Rover profile. I’m available mornings and evenings for dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and boarding. I enjoy spending real time with the pets I care for, whether that means going on walks, playing, hanging out, or just keeping them company. I’ll also keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how they’re doing. Since I live in an apartment, the best fit would be a dog who is house trained, calm indoors, and comfortable using either the elevator or stairs. They should also be able to settle without excessive barking. I’m happy to spend plenty of time with them, play, go on walks, and keep them company. I just ask that they don’t have aggressive behavior, biting, frequent accidents, or destructive habits. This was our first time leaving her for such a long time -- while Penny is a sweetheart, she can also be a handful because of her youthful exuberance. Priscilla (along with husband and kids) left us feeling so assured that Penny was thoroughly loved during our time away. Not only did Priscilla give us frequent updates with pics and videos, she also gave us training and enrichment tips with some of the toys they had vetted with their dog Finn beforehand and got to use with Penny while she was there. Their dog is also a sweetheart, and our two pups got along phenomenally which was a delight. Moreso, Penny really bonded with the whole family! During the latter half of our trip, we had a neighbor take care of her, and they drove her up to our building safe and sound =] I'm so much more confident about traveling knowing I can leave my girl in Priscilla's wonderfully capable and caring hands.”
