About: Apart from always caring for my own dogs, I have loved walking my old neighbors pups as well. I am average build but strong for my size so I can handle the tugs from the bigger dogs like husky’s. I have an almost 3 month old who I stay home with so I am available for around the clock care for pups, children, or any elders who need assistance. Me and my baby would love to have your fur baby join our walks and play time! When boarding at my home, all we ask is to please bring your pup washed, thank you! p.s. tips are never expected but alwaysss appreciated;) I am a stay at home mom to a very chill and quiet baby. Our days consist of his nap times, sitting on our enclosed balcony, and going on long walks. We live in a condo with a balcony that has no escape route, and a medium size patio/backyard. It does not have grass but we have a 47x32in. artificial grass mat for potty breaks. The condo has stairs as well.

About: I'm a writer who works from home and I live with my partner and his father, so there is very little alone time for your babies. We have a very gentle and playful staffie, Maia, who gets along great with other dogs, but if you’re at all concerned about compatibility, it’s no problem to do a meet and greet. We like to go to the dog park and/or on long walks in the Back Bay or along the coast, depending on your preferences. I focus on positive reinforcement, safety, and security; so you never have to worry about your dog when they're with me. I have lots of love and attention to give, I am adaptable to your particular feeding/walking schedule, and I have several different zones in my home: a nice quiet place for shy dogs, a couch for sleepy dogs and a yard for sunning and running. I have experience with different medication and dietary requirements and have no problem with special needs or older pets. I also take photos of the dogs playing and send them throughout the visit. I’m a morning person, so the pups get their first walk at sun up. Then it’s play all day, lounging, more walks and bed at a reasonable hour. We have the home set up so that there are no safety hazards or aggressive dogs, and someone is always home. I focus on getting the wiggles out and positive reinforcement. Exhausted dogs are calm dogs, so I make sure to get them all the exercise they need and as many treats as they are permitted.

About: We're recent empty nesters looking to share our love with a furry friend. Our family dog passed away recently, leaving a real hole in our hearts, and with our kids off at college, my husband and I miss having that companionship at home. I've cared for animals my whole life, most recently our family Maltipoo, who was with us for eight years. She needed a bit of extra care along the way — including knee surgery on both rear legs for a luxating patella, and extra attention after she went blind in her final year. That experience taught me a lot about patience and hands-on care, and I'd welcome a dog who needs some extra love, whether or not they come with special needs. I work from home, so your dog would never be left alone for long stretches — I have plenty of time for walks, play, and simply being present. Being we live in an area with coyotes and other wild animals, I would never leave your dog outside alone and would always have them with me on a leash including at the local park. With no kids, I will make sure there is nothing they can get into or find to chew on in the home.

About: The reflection of a person reflects how a domesticated animal will come to be. Thoughts like these make me want to understand more of why we were put on this world. Animals make me happy. They do things so flowingly and naturally and it’s so unique because it’s so simple. They don’t want to do it, they just do it. Each dog and cat all have their quirks and differences which is why they are so special to me being that all animals are special as well. These thoughts and experiences help me into exploring more of what I want to be as a person with animals and how this could help me to become what I aspire in being and beyond. I go to the gym almost everyday about an hour and a half. I go out most of the weekends usually between 2pm to 1am. 3 adults also live in our household and they already take care of most of the pets in our household. Every single moment counts as animals are in every single moment as well since they are being. To this moment I am still learning to understand all of my pets, they all have their differences and that is what I love so much. I have be different with each one. Adapting is such a big challenge for me because it can require a vast amount of patience and effort. Sometimes things will not go the way you want it to and that’s ok. There will always be another moment to try. These thoughts and reasons are what I want to apply when I’m studying new animals and how I can gain their trust.

It is very difficult to find someone who is both confident in caring for such a big dog and has the energy to keep up with him. Steph made him feel right at home by giving him plenty of cuddles, play time, and taking him on fun adventures. She is an amazing human and a one in a million dog caretaker! Steph treats your dog like a king, taking tons of photos of them and sending updates. Levi didn’t even want to come home! We are grateful to Steph and we will for sure use her 5 star boarding again.”

About: Apart from always caring for my own dogs, I have loved walking my old neighbors pups as well. I am average build but strong for my size so I can handle the tugs from the bigger dogs like husky’s. I have an almost 3 month old who I stay home with so I am available for around the clock care for pups, children, or any elders who need assistance. Me and my baby would love to have your fur baby join our walks and play time! When boarding at my home, all we ask is to please bring your pup washed, thank you! p.s. tips are never expected but alwaysss appreciated;) I am a stay at home mom to a very chill and quiet baby. Our days consist of his nap times, sitting on our enclosed balcony, and going on long walks. We live in a condo with a balcony that has no escape route, and a medium size patio/backyard. It does not have grass but we have a 47x32in. artificial grass mat for potty breaks. The condo has stairs as well.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, and goats. My first job was at a pet shelter and later on as a veterinary assistant technician. I love taking dogs on long walks and runs. I’m experienced at handling dogs of all sizes and great at reading animal behavior. I have two senior dogs. I work full time but have time during the evenings and weekend to take care of your pet. I have time for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting. I have a fenced yard and two small old senior dogs who are dog friendly. Even though I have a fenced yard, I think it’s important to walk dogs several times a day to stimulate them.
“My wife and I booked with Banafshe for a long weekend trip, after our go-to dog sitter was unavailable. We are happy we did. Before the sit, Banafshe was courteous and timely in replying to our handful of messages with questions. She was gracious enough to allow us to bring Huxley over for a quick meetup with her and her lovely family), before the scheduled stay. Banafshe followed up with us the day of to confirm what time we would be dropping Huxley off. Unexpectedly, our pup had a tooth pulled prior to the boarding, and Banafshe was very helpful in ensuring Huxley received his medication (in his food). Throughout the time of the boarding she provided thoughtful updates and photos and was very responsive. She checked in with us to confirm when we would be picking up Huxley and made sure his items we left with her, were in his bag. 10/10. We would trust her and her family with our furbaby again and I highly recommend. 🥰”

About: Works from home, fully fenced 10,000 sq ft yard! I've been pet sitting and dog walking for over 12 years, including working with repeat families. I’ve lived in an apartment the last few years, and paused Rover because it wasn’t an ideal set up. But with my new backyard and working from home, I'm able to give your pets constant company, attention and care during their stay, so you can be away knowing they are in good hands. We have 2 dogs at our home, so your pup will be part of the pack during their stay! We have a large, fully fenced yard with lots of space to play. We are happy to take your dog on our daily walks, or can prioritize playing the backyard depending on your comfort/routine! I have experience training a Golden Retriever, Golden Doodle & Australian Shepherd from 8 weeks to 16 years. I've also cared for senior dogs (ages 11-16) and know how to help them rest (AKA snuggle), give them medicine, and ensure their dietary and health needs are met. Relationships are very important to me - with you and your pets. I'd love to build long-lasting relationships where I can continue to watch your pets over the years, so they are comfortable with me and I learn their typical behaviors and routines. If you're looking for someone in a hurry - I'm here for you! I'm available to pet sit on weekdays, weekends, and for weeks at a time. I'm very flexible and can take on jobs quickly. I like to keep your pets routines as similar as possible while you are away. Happy to help with minimal house work (watering plants, etc.) to ensure you come home feeling refreshed.
