About: I’m a full-time work-from-home dog mom to my 2.5-year-old golden retriever, Goose, who loves meeting new friends. I can offer your pet constant companionship, regular potty breaks, and walks throughout the day. I’ve raised Goose since he was 12 weeks old, have over 5 years of pet-sitting experience, and grew up with cats. I can administer medications, follow detailed care instructions, and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and part of the family from the moment they arrive. Pet care is naturally woven into my everyday life—I already spend my days walking, playing with, and caring for Goose. Working from home gives me the flexibility to provide frequent potty breaks, mid-day walks, and plenty of playtime. Whether it’s a quick cuddle, a mental-stimulating game, or an extra walk to burn energy, I can easily adjust my day to meet each pet’s needs. In my home, pets are treated like family. Dogs have access to a secure balcony for fresh air and are allowed on the bed for snuggles, but not on other furniture. We follow a no human-food policy to keep pets safe. I stick closely to your feeding, exercise, and medication schedule, ensuring your dog feels comfortable and confident in their surroundings. Goose is extremely friendly with other dogs and fascinated (but gentle) with cats; if needed, I can separate spaces to keep everyone relaxed.

We have a rescue chihuahua mix that lives back home with my parents in Illinois, and I recently provided daily care for a friend’s 3-month-old puppy for a few months. I’ve personally taken my own dog through positive reinforcement, obedience, and trick training, and I’m happy to practice those skills with your pup, or even teach them a fun new trick if you’d like! Whether your dog needs patience, structure, or just some extra love, I’ll meet them where they’re at to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. My goal is to treat every pet like my own, giving you peace of mind knowing your furry family member is safe, happy, and well looked after while you’re away. My schedule is flexible as I’m a nurse and only work 3 days/ week. I can usually schedule around pets if given enough of a heads up! Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I have lifelong experience with animals, including reactive and anxious dogs, and I’m comfortable reading body language and responding calmly in stressful situations. On walks, I use secure leashes/harnesses and never introduce your pup to other dogs without your permission. I follow your home and feeding routines closely, and I’m confident giving medications if needed. I also provide frequent updates with photos and notes so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy and cared for. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, and in reliable hands.

I'm now doing part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pup! I'm always available during Monday-Friday anytime! During the weekend, I'm available in the afternoon. I have two warm dogs at home, they are very gentle and very social. My house has two floors, there is a fence leading up to the stairs, which will work if you don't want your puppy to go up or down.so your puppy will be safe.
