I’m a PhD student at UCI and have a pretty flexible schedule—and I sometimes work from home, so I can be around during the day to check in, give attention, and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for.

Safety, trust & environment
I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine so they can feel at ease with me. I keep their environment calm, quiet, and consistent—especially important for pets that are anxious, senior, or have special needs, like my own disabled Ragdoll cat.

Information Yutong Y. would like to know about your pet
The most important thing for me to know is your pet’s routine and personality—what makes them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’d love to know about their likes and dislikes, any special needs, medical issues, or quirks (like being shy around strangers or afraid of loud noises).
A typical day
A typical day with me includes lots of love, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe and happy! For cats, I love engaging them with wand toys, puzzle feeders, or just giving them cozy cuddle time if they’re more laid-back. I’m also used to keeping a calm, quiet environment—especially helpful for shy or sensitive cats like my own. If I’m watching a dog, we’ll go on slow, relaxing walks (especially if they’re older), get some gentle playtime in, and have plenty of breaks for pets, belly rubs, or just hanging out together. I always follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and cared for.

Pet care experience
I have a Ragdoll cat who was born blind, and I’ve been taking really good care of her. Over time, I’ve learned how to help her feel safe and confident by keeping her environment consistent and being extra gentle with her. I really love cats—they’ve always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy building trust with each one. I also help take care of my friend’s senior dog, so I’m familiar with the extra love, patience, and slower pace that older pups need. I’m a PhD student at UCI and have a pretty flexible schedule, so I can be around during the day to check in, give attention, and make sure your pet feels safe and cared for.

Yutong was great! Very communicative, sent daily pictures and videos, and kept everything clean. I would definitely hire her again!

Yutong took great care of my two cats. She responded right away to my last minute booking request. She followed all instructions and sent pictures and updates. I’ll rebook her next time I need a sitter

constant updates and my dog really liked her!! highly recommend 💗

Yutong was great with my elderly cat! Very sweet, and conscientious. My cat seemed to enjoy her company and I appreciated the updates and photos.
