The most important thing for me to know is your pet’s routine and personality—what makes them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I’d love to know about their likes and dislikes, any special needs, medical issues, or quirks (like being shy around strangers or afraid of loud noises).
A typical day
A typical day with me includes lots of love, playtime, and making sure your pet feels safe and happy! For cats, I love engaging them with wand toys, puzzle feeders, or just giving them cozy cuddle time if they’re more laid-back. I’m also used to keeping a calm, quiet environment—especially helpful for shy or sensitive cats like my own. If I’m watching a dog, we’ll go on slow, relaxing walks (especially if they’re older), get some gentle playtime in, and have plenty of breaks for pets, belly rubs, or just hanging out together. I always follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and cared for.

Pet care experience
I have a Ragdoll cat who was born blind, and I’ve been taking really good care of her. Over time, I’ve learned how to help her feel safe and confident by keeping her environment consistent and being extra gentle with her. I really love cats—they’ve always been a big part of my life, and I enjoy building trust with each one. I also help take care of my friend’s senior dog, so I’m familiar with the extra love, patience, and slower pace that older pups need. Lexie was absolutely AMAZING! In all the years I have used Rover all over northern and southern California, she has been by far my favorite pet sitter. She is so communicative, understanding, and a true dog lover. I’ve never seen Maple and Wasabi warm up to any other sitter the way they did with Lexie, it was so obvious they truly adored her and no wonder why! She included them in everything, played with them, didn’t mind their silly quirks and clinginess — I was so touched she even included them in her everyday routine and took them to work! It was so sweet and reassuring to receive all these updates and see her do all these things we didn’t even ask her to do, especially since it was the first time we have ever left my dogs this long. We will definitely be booking with her and only her again! I’m sure my dogs will be so excited to see her again! 🤣♥️
