cat mom & lover of shy kitties 🥰
As a dog lady converted into a cat person, nothing brings me more joy that earning a cat’s or shy pup’s trust and affection. I grew up caring for Labrador retrievers and I now have two indoor kitties of my own - Waldo and Lettuce. However, I’ve been caring for animals for all of my adult life, including a long term stint caring for 2 dogs (pug & springer spaniel) and 5 cats (of all sizes and temperaments) and frequent drop ins for friends and neighbors. It’s such a joy learning about the personality of each pet, and I’d love the chance to get to know your furry loved ones. With two of my own, I know the importance of not only providing quality care and cuddles but also frequent and timely updates with plenty of photos. I also have experience administering oral medication and inhalers for asthma should your cat or dog need any extra care.

Safety, trust & environment
As a Rover user myself, I understand the importance of having a sitter that will get to know your pet’s quirks, especially for shy cats. Whether your pet needs a friend to sit with them while they munch, coax them out from under the bed, or play with them for the whole visit, I’m happy to oblige. I will provide lots of love while also refreshing water, food, and litter and checking to make sure your cat hasn’t been too mischievous around the house. For doggos, I’m happy to explore new neighborhoods on walks or trips to the dog park to ensure they get some good exercise and playtime in. And, of course, I’ll send you plenty of updates and photos in the process. I hope to give you piece of mind to know your furry loved one is well cared for while you’re away.

Nancy was simply wonderful. I am so glad to have found her because she took such good care of my cats and made me feel very comfortable about leaving my cats for a couple of weeks. She was extremely professional, communicative, and I could tell she was great with pets because my very shy cats came out to greet her… so unlike them and a great sign. I would not hesitate to book her again. Thanks Nancy!!!
Nancy was wonderful with our cats!! She made sure to give them both attention/ pets/ brushes and send loads of photos. We will definitely book her again!

Schedule
I currently work remotely full-time but have the flexibility to create my own hours outside of meetings. The majority of my availability is early to mid mornings and evenings, but depending on the day and advanced notice of bookings, I can accommodate mid day or afternoon check-ins.
