About: I have lived with, loved, and cared for dogs throughout my entire life. I have been pet sitting and walking for over a decade. I have also been fostering dogs and cats for many years, so I am well versed in the care of pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. I have 3 pets (2 dogs and cat), for which my love is unmeasurable, and I can assure you that I will show your animals the same love. All of my pets are very friendly to other animals and love having friends over! If your dog would rather not be around other dogs then you can just book house sitting, and I will come give them my undivided attention in your home. I have a minor in animal science from UC Davis, I have worked at a local doggy daycare, and most recently I worked at the San Diego Humane Society before moving back to Huntington Beach. That being said I am completely comfortable caring for senior animals and pets with special needs. I have personally owned an anxious and reactive dog, so I know how scary it can be to leave them with a sitter, but I can assure you that I will go at your dogs pace, and I will be extremely attentive to things like doors and gates to make sure your baby stays safe. I am also comfortable using a variety of walking/training tools (Prong, Ecollar, gentle leader etc.), so if you would like me to incorporate these into your dogs walk that is no problem. In addition, I am experienced in giving subcutaneous injections if that is something your pet needs and I am pet CPR certified. My life basically revolves around animals, and I would love to bring yours into my orbit! *** Please Note - I recently had a name change so my former reviews show a different than the name on my account. Aside from pet sitting I run an etsy business from my home, so aside from running quick errands, I will be with your pets 24/7. My yard is completely fenced, secure, and set up with the safety of dogs in mind. We also have a doggy door if your dog is used to having 24/7 access to a yard, but this can also be closed for owners who are not comfortable with it. I can also provide a large crate if your dog is used to being left in a crate at night or when left during the day (however your dog will rarely, if ever be alone).

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Labrador from the time I was born until I was around 10 years old, and since then I have had two other dogs, including a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and a Border Collie mix. Because of this, I have experience with different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, from large dogs that need strong handling to active dogs that need plenty of attention and playtime. I have also dog sat for family and friends before, so I understand how important it is to make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I will always check in frequently with updates, make sure your dog is fed on schedule, take time to play with them, and give them the attention they need. My schedule is very flexible. I am home for the summer from UCSD and currently shadowing a doctor, but I am able to work my schedule around what is best for dog or cat sitting. I am available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can usually make most times work. I will always communicate clearly if I have something planned on a certain day, and I will make sure we figure out a schedule that works best for you and your pet. We've always rescued and found the best furry friends. About: I call all dogs “babies”. It would be an honor to watch your baby. My baby just lost a year long battle to heart failure. I am familiar with taking care of a dog with senior needs such as giving medications, helping them up the stairs, making sure they are eating/hydrated. My family had three dogs growing up so I can balance multiple personalities while giving attention to all equally. Not only did they need daily food and water, but their house also needed to be cleaned regularly. They’re pretty large tortoises so they also make big messes. Maddy followed through with everything we asked. Reptar is a little jerk to new people sometimes but she was able to get him to come out, play a little, and become friends with him by the end of his care. He didn’t have any accidents when I came home which is the best thing I could ask for since he’s likes to when I’m out of town to make me know he’s mad with a stranger. That just shows how great she was with him. would definitely book her again!
Sofia was an excellent pet sitter. I was traveling for 3 weeks out of the country and Sofia dropped by every other day and took car of my multiple cats. The cats are a handful and one required medication and Sofia did a great job. She fed and watered them as well as cleaned their litter boxes. Three of the cats hide in my sofa and she aways looked in it to make sure the three shy cats were there and ok. She also proved updates and pictures of the various cats which I enjoyed looking at from across the world during my vacation. I would highly recommend Sofia for any of your pet sitting needs.
