About: I’ve been around dogs for my whole life and I have tons of experience caring for them due to this. I read dogs well and the signs they may give if upset or tired and I will respond accordingly. I’ll make sure your dog is happy and safe. I have a fairly flexible schedule! I am a huge animal lover, especially when it comes to dogs. This includes all dogs; of any breed or size. I will provide hands on and loving care of your dog. My mom raises guide dogs and due to this I have gained an even better understanding of dogs and gained many skills for caring for dogs. This will add to my ability to be a good caregiver of your dog.

About: I have lived with, loved, and cared for dogs throughout my entire life. I have been pet sitting and walking for over a decade. I have also been fostering dogs and cats for many years, so I am well versed in the care of pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, and personalities. I have 3 pets (2 dogs and cat), for which my love is unmeasurable, and I can assure you that I will show your animals the same love. All of my pets are very friendly to other animals and love having friends over! If your dog would rather not be around other dogs then you can just book house sitting, and I will come give them my undivided attention in your home. I have a minor in animal science from UC Davis, I have worked at a local doggy daycare, and most recently I worked at the San Diego Humane Society before moving back to Huntington Beach. That being said I am completely comfortable caring for senior animals and pets with special needs. I have personally owned an anxious and reactive dog, so I know how scary it can be to leave them with a sitter, but I can assure you that I will go at your dogs pace, and I will be extremely attentive to things like doors and gates to make sure your baby stays safe. I am also comfortable using a variety of walking/training tools (Prong, Ecollar, gentle leader etc.), so if you would like me to incorporate these into your dogs walk that is no problem. In addition, I am experienced in giving subcutaneous injections if that is something your pet needs and I am pet CPR certified. My life basically revolves around animals, and I would love to bring yours into my orbit! *** Please Note - I recently had a name change so my former reviews show a different than the name on my account. Aside from pet sitting I run an etsy business from my home, so aside from running quick errands, I will be with your pets 24/7. My yard is completely fenced, secure, and set up with the safety of dogs in mind. We also have a doggy door if your dog is used to having 24/7 access to a yard, but this can also be closed for owners who are not comfortable with it. I can also provide a large crate if your dog is used to being left in a crate at night or when left during the day (however your dog will rarely, if ever be alone).

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with a Labrador from the time I was born until I was around 10 years old, and since then I have had two other dogs, including a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and a Border Collie mix. Because of this, I have experience with different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, from large dogs that need strong handling to active dogs that need plenty of attention and playtime. I have also dog sat for family and friends before, so I understand how important it is to make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I will always check in frequently with updates, make sure your dog is fed on schedule, take time to play with them, and give them the attention they need. My schedule is very flexible. I am home for the summer from UCSD and currently shadowing a doctor, but I am able to work my schedule around what is best for dog or cat sitting. I am available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can usually make most times work. I will always communicate clearly if I have something planned on a certain day, and I will make sure we figure out a schedule that works best for you and your pet. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my top priority. I will make sure they are cared for, supervised, and given plenty of attention while you are away. I am comfortable playing with pets, throwing tennis balls or toys, taking dogs on walks, letting them outside, and watching them closely while they are out. I will always follow your instructions for feeding, routines, walks, playtime, and any specific needs your pet may have. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal schedule, so I will make sure they are fed on time and cared for in a safe, responsible, and loving environment.

We've always rescued and found the best furry friends. For the last 10 years, I've cared for 2 sweet labs next door with frequent walks, meals, tuck-in service (bedtime kongs), and general cuddle puddles 4 days a week. I cat and dog sit for several neighbors and family members and have been doing so consistently for the last 12 years. My home is "beach cozy" (translation: small), so it's best suited for all cats and small-medium-sized dogs that enjoy getting out for walks. If you have a senior dog or cat that needs extra TLC or a quieter home, no kids, no other pets, and all the attention is on them, I am happy to provide a safe, comfy space! I live in a very spacious gated condo complex in Huntington Beach (Harbour area Warner Ave. & Algonquin) there's plenty of green grass on the grounds here, plus it's only a short walking distance to the Bolsa Chica Wetlands, to where I frequently run on a regular basis. I also love to go to the HB dog beach, even if I don't have a dog with me (just to watch the others play)!!! I am absolutely okay to spend the night at your place with your furry friends as well...very flexible in that sense. I have my B.S. in Child Development from Cal State Fullerton, excellent references, and I own my own car.
