Hello! I adore animals of all kinds and have always seen my pets as part of my family. I've had years of experience with several sweet cats and dogs of my own. We've always rescued and found the best furry friends. For the last 10 years, I've cared for 2 sweet labs next door with frequent walks, meals, tuck-in service (bedtime kongs), and general cuddle puddles 4 days a week. I cat and dog sit for several neighbors and family members and have been doing so consistently for the last 12 years. My home is "beach cozy" (translation: small), so it's best suited for all cats and small-medium-sized dogs that enjoy getting out for walks. If you have a senior dog or cat that needs extra TLC or a quieter home, no kids, no other pets, and all the attention is on them, I am happy to provide a safe, comfy space!

Shannon was absolutely amazing with my two cats while I was out of town for a few days! 🥹💕 She was so sweet and kind, and gave me such great updates and the cutest photos throughout their stay. It was so clear from every update that they were having the best time with her and felt completely comfortable. They warmed up to her SO quickly, honestly probably the quickest they ever have with someone new, which made me so happy! 🐱💗 She took such great care of them and I felt totally at ease knowing they were with her. Would 100% recommend Shannon and would absolutely board with her again! 🫶🏼🐾✨
Shannon took care of our nearly 14-year-old chihuahua for a week while we were away on our babymoon, and I truly could not have asked for a better sitter. Our little guy requires lifelong medication twice a day and occasionally experiences seizure symptoms, so finding someone we could fully trust was incredibly important to us. Shannon was absolutely amazing. She stayed perfectly on schedule with his medications, took such great care of his feeding routine, and was very accommodating to all of our requests. She also sent us lots of updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. What impressed me most was how naturally she understood our chihuahua’s personality and needs almost immediately, without us having to explain much at all. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him and made him feel comfortable and loved. I’m so grateful we found Shannon, and she will absolutely be our go-to sitter in the future. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our precious little guy.💕 We were truly able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing he was in such good hands.

Shannon made our shy kitty feel right at home. She so graciously accommodated all her needs and sent lots of pictures throughout her stay. When we picked her up I could tell she was feeling comfy and confident in Shannon’s cozy space!
Our kitties loved Shannon. She was very good at coaxing them out of hiding and getting them to warm up to her. She sent daily updates and pics to let us know they were comfortable, eating and getting along well.
This was our first time using Rover for boarding services, and Shannon truly made Nova feel right at home. After some difficult experiences with kennels, we were looking for someone who would care for Nova as if she were their own and she exceeded our expectations. The regular pictures and updates throughout Nova’s stay gave us complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for loving, attentive pet care. Thank you, Shannon!!

Schedule
I work from home most days and have plenty of time to dedicate to pet, potty, and play breaks! I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate most pet needs.

I have experience with administering medication and daily IV fluids. I got very comfortable caring for my senior CKD kitty for over a year. Anything to make life better for these sweet souls I'm willing to do! I am a thoughtful and caring pet sitter and will take care of your fur friends like family!
A typical day
For the pups I like to let them burn off some extra energy, sniff and explore, and enjoy a good walk through grass and leaves with all the fun smells. We've got a great boardwalk and greenbelt through Seal Beach that provides lots of walking paths while watching squirrels chase each other! Endless entertainment :) For cats, it's really up to them as we all know. They run the show. So maybe a game of feather chasing, mouse on a string, or whatever makes them happy!
