“My Odie had a wonderful time with Thai. Thai took great care of him and even sent me lots of pictures. Odie's tail was curled up in all of them. This indicates that he was comfortable and happy. I was so relieved to know that Odie was well taken care of. When I picked him up, he was very joyful. I highly recommend Thai and am so grateful to have found her. Thank you, Thai!”

“Bernard & Hung are awesome they took great care of our puppy princess while we were on vacation. I really can't think them enough, Lana had an excellent time 🙂”

“It is our first time boarding our dog, so we were a bit nervous, but Soonok was amazing! Our dog likes to walk outside, and Soonok brought him out for walks and even updated us with photos and videos. We appreciate Soonok being communicative and for taking great care of our dog. 5 stars for sure!”

“Heather did a wonderful job of taking care of both of our fur babies (cat and dog). She went out of her way to bring the dog for the cat visits so the our cat can play with and have the company of our dog. She also spent time playing with both of our animals. I found Heather to be extremely responsive answering questions and sending pictures. She also showed us a better way to give our cat his meds and took the time to send us a video. We will definitely have Heather as our go to for both of our fur babies because we know when Heather is taking care of them, they are in the best hands possible!”
“Absolutely wonderful sitter for our puppy! We will definitely use her services again. She sent us picture updates and was very flexible with our availability! So trustworthy and kind!”

“It's hard to know where to begin. Tyler and Patricia are so amazing! They took such GREAT care of our 9 year old Emma - they were so attentive, kind, and conscientious with her. Emma was immediately comfortable with both Tyler and Patricia. They are dog people to the max! They are great communicators - they gave us great updates and photos daily. They will customize the amount of updates you'd like to receive and they were definitely on point for us. When I picked Emma up today, she was happy to see me, but she was like, 'ahhh, good to see you, but I wouldn't mind staying a while longer!" She was more comfortable staying with Tyler and Patricia than she's ever been staying with anyone else before. They made her feel a part of their family! We are so GRATEFUL we found Tyler and Patricia and I know Emma is as well. It's so comforting to find people like these two to take care of a member of the family who means so much to you.”

“We have had Elise watch our two cats a few times now and she has been fantastic every single time. Even our cat Isabella (who hates EVERYONE except for me and my husband) is starting to like her! About: I enjoy spending lots of time playing, walking and even a little training. I have also had senior dogs that need a little extra care and attention. I am recently unemployed and have lots of time available. I would love nothing more than to help as many pets/pet parents as I can. Dogs can enjoy lots of play time and walks as well as maybe a little place time and snacks. I have had senior dogs as well that just need some down time and cuddles.

About: I’m a dependable animal lover with experience caring for cats of different ages, personalities, and needs. I understand that every cat is different — some are playful and social while others need patience, calm energy, and space to feel comfortable. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, litter box care, playtime, medications if needed, and making sure your cat feels safe and relaxed while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I always provide reliable care and regular photo updates for peace of mind. Whether your cat loves attention or prefers a quieter approach, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved like they’re my own.

“We appreciate Dominique’s communication, updates, questions and detail from beginning to end. She was very willing to work with our Christmas schedule and took in our very energetic baby boy. Bless her heart. Thank you for your care!”

About: Hello everyone! My name is Laura Perales—mom of four energetic boys and proud dog mom to our friendly German Shepherd, Sosa, and our sweet Corgi, Lola. We live in Westminster, CA, in a cozy home with a spacious, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for playtime. We’ve been hosting dogs for over 15 years and are proud to have earned consistent 5-star reviews from families who trust us with their furry loved ones. Our home is truly a place where pups feel safe, loved, and welcomed. Our family absolutely loves having doggie friends over, and we can’t wait to welcome your pup into our home! ❤️ Because we have small children and two social dogs, we kindly ask that visiting pups be friendly, well-behaved, and comfortable around kids and other dogs. While we’re not trainers, we provide a safe, structured, and caring environment—so basic training and good listening skills are important to make the stay enjoyable for everyone. During the day, your pup will enjoy: A large, secure backyard to play and explore Access to the garage for shade and cozy resting spots Friendly company from Sosa and Lola A peaceful, relaxed environment until we return from work We also encourage you to send your dog’s favorite bed or blanket to help them feel even more at home. ⭐ Drop-off as early as 7 AM ⭐ Pick-up available after 6 PM We treat every dog like part of our family, and our goal is to make sure your pup feels comfortable, happy, and cared for during their stay. If you have any questions or special requests, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to help. We can’t wait to meet your furry family member! 🐾💛 Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because we already have two dogs of our own, so caring for pets is simply part of our everyday life. We start our mornings with feeding, potty breaks, and backyard playtime before school and work. In the evenings, we spend time outside again for exercise, attention, and downtime together as a family. Any visiting pup easily becomes part of this routine—they’re included in playtime, supervised outdoor time, and all the love and attention we give our own dogs. Caring for dogs is something we enjoy and do consistently, so your pet will fit right in and feel like family. I care for pets in my home by welcoming them into our regular family routine and providing a safe, structured, and loving environment. Visiting dogs have access to our large garage and fenced backyard for supervised play, potty breaks, and exercise. They also enjoy the company of our two friendly dogs, who help create a comfortable and social atmosphere. I maintain each dog’s feeding schedule, provide plenty of attention, and make sure they have a cozy place to rest. During the day while we are at work, the dogs stay in our secure backyard with access to shade and lounging areas. In the evenings and mornings, we spend extra time playing with them, giving affection, and making sure their needs are met. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, relaxed, and at home while staying with us.

About: I’ve fostered kittens and bottle fed and provided medication. I also recently fostered a lovely senior cat! As my headline mentioned, I wasn’t really a cat person until one changed my mind a few years ago and now I love them!! Can’t commit to one full time just yet so I’d love to do a little exchange 😉

“Kristen was fantastic with my senior pup! My little guy is 14 and has some health issues, so I felt very at ease knowing Kristen is a vet nurse. She provided multiple updates and pictures throughout the visit. I highly recommend her!”

About: I genuinely understand that cats aren’t “low-maintenance”—they’re specific, perceptive, and each one has their own personality and boundaries. I take the time to learn what makes your cat feel safe, whether that’s giving them space, sticking closely to their routine, or engaging them through play on their terms. I’m especially attentive to the details that matter: keeping litter boxes consistently clean, monitoring eating and bathroom habits, and maintaining a calm, predictable environment. I’m also comfortable following detailed care instructions, including administering oral medications. My own cat is on anxiety medication, so I’m very familiar with giving meds in a way that keeps cats as stress-free as possible. Communication is a big priority for me—I provide regular updates with photos so you always know how your cat is doing, and I’m quick to flag anything that seems off. On top of that, I’m highly reliable and organized (Ph.D. student habits), so you can trust that instructions will be followed carefully and your home will be respected. At the end of the day, I don’t just check in on cats—I make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and as stress-free as possible while you’re away.
About: I have experience providing reliable and compassionate care for both dogs and cats. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, administering basic care, and ensuring pets feel safe, comfortable, and well-attended while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I work early hours and am typically available later in the day. I’m currently off on Fridays and Saturdays, which allows me to dedicate extra time for pet sitting, walks, and check-ins. My schedule is flexible, so I’m usually available for morning, afternoon, or evening care depending on what pets and their owners need. I care for pets by making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for in either my home or my client’s home. I follow the pet’s normal routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest so they feel as relaxed as possible. I’ve had my own dog for 11 years, so I understand the importance of patience, attention, and treating every pet like they are part of the family.

“This was my first time using Rover and needed someone to check on my cat while I had to leave for the day. Monique was friendly, easy to communicate with and kept me updated the whole time. “Vanessa was great. We had a family emergency and were out of town. She allowed a meet and greet on short notice. She was very communicative and helped care for my timid dog. It helped me be more at ease knowing my dog was in good hands while tending to our family and being gone for a whole day.”

“Last-minute booking due to the Garden Grove/Stanton evacuation, and I was so grateful to find Sara on Rover. She is amazing, caring, and super knowledgeable about dog behavior. My Snow is a shy girl, but with Sara she felt comfortable going on walks and car rides. Sara gave hourly updates and sent lots of pictures throughout the day. She is absolutely a gem, and I would definitely recommend her for dog daycare!”

“A few days ago we were looking for a last minute puppy sitter for our little 2 month old chihuahua puppy and came across this wonderful lady, Mary Ann. She was wonderful during our meet and greet and made us feel extremely confident about leaving our puppy with her. She assured us that she was in safe hands and would take great care of her since our puppy was so tiny. Lola had a great time with Mary Ann and we recieved pictures of her playing which eased our nervousness. Mary Ann understood our special care requests we had for Lola and met them. We would definitely bring Lola back with Mary Ann because she had a ton of fun and also we completely trust her with our little puppy. We would definitely recommend her to first time rover users.”

About: I have had many years experience of taking care of many types of cats and dogs, young and old. I always ensure a thorough job well done, as a pet parent and someone who empathizes with both you and your fur baby, I do my best to make this Rover process of letting another person care for your babe as easy as I possibly can. When I have a responsibility to you and your pet, it is my main priority! My schedule works around yours. I manage my own small business, and work pet sitting. I have so much free time and much more TLC to give. While you're on vacation or a work trip, give me some work to do and let me kittysit for you. While I'm taking care of your fur baby, you'll get tons of photos of them having a good time, napping, eating, and going for walks (if they're a dog). I live in an upstairs apartment with a single roommate who owns a small male dog(neutered), and I own a male cat(neutered). I'll be watching over and caring for your fur baby in comfort and safety. Theyll have access to their food, water fountain, and their own bathroom. Your baby will be kept clean! We don't like germs or dirt. If they want company and cuddles it's always welcomed, so I make sure to maintain a healthy environment for all. I do not put animals and crates unless if I'm instructed otherwise. I do recommend bringing a little bed and toy for your pup if theyll be staying over night.
“Amazing!!! I left my puppy sky with them for a couple hrs while I had to run some errands and she came back exhausted!!! (She’s never tired) thank you for sending updates and lots of photos of my baby will definitely be booking again with yall!”

To be honest, my dog basically owns the home and he welcomes other furry friends to share the space.

About: Welcome, Friend! Your fur baby will be in great hands. For the last 25 years I've met, rescued, fostered, adopted and found families for several pups of all ages. I have cared for hospice, medical needs, puppies, seniors and all in between. Luckily I am home most of my day and we love being outdoors or relaxing on the couch. There are quite a few supplies on hand- including safety latches and hard crates, if needed for transport. To help ease your day, I'm happy to share pictures and videos of your fur baby. I can't wait to hear from you 🐾 My availability is quite flexible and I'm open to special time requests. I have a per diem job that is just around the corner and my toddler doesn't have much of a social life yet so he goes with the flow! We have options!... which I love! My home has a fenced front yard and back yard with canopy shade and kiddie pool available for those that love water, need some stimulation or to cool down from the warmer weather. I have small and large crates available, if needed. Since I don't park my car in the garage, it's an option for pups needing any personal, quiet space (possibly for recovering from medical treatments or the introverts). It is tiled and can have AC during the warmer times of the year. At my home we have myself, my 3 year old Son and my 18 year old Daughter. I also have 5 fur babies (all rescues) that may or may not (at your preference) be a playmate for your pup.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that my experience comes from real, long-term responsibility rather than short-term or occasional care. I’ve cared for my own dog for over ten years, since I was in eighth grade, and that journey has taught me patience, consistency, and how to recognize a dog’s needs as they grow and age. I’ve also helped walk and care for a neighbor’s dog for several years, building trust and reliability until they passed away. Most importantly, I genuinely care about animals and their well-being. My long-term goal is to work in the canine unit, so I take pet care seriously and treat every animal with respect, attentiveness, and compassion—not just as a job, but as something I truly value. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life because caring for my dog has been part of my routine for over ten years. I got him when I was in middle school so throughout every stage of his life, I’ve learned how to meet his specific needs—from proper feeding and regular walks to understanding his health, behavior, and age-related changes. Over time, I’ve gained knowledge about dogs that goes beyond basic care, allowing me to be attentive, patient, and proactive in supporting his well-being every day. I care for pets both in my home and outside of my home because I genuinely value their well-being and understand how much they depend on consistent, compassionate care. Having cared for my own dog for over ten years, I’ve learned how important patience, routine, and attentiveness are to an animal’s health and happiness. That experience has made me naturally mindful and responsible when caring for other pets as well, whether it’s providing basic needs, emotional comfort, or recognizing signs that something may be off.

Dogs are my passion, and I’m more than happy to spend the rest of my days walking, training, and looking after them! I’m friendly, safe, respectable and dedicated! I’ve grown up with and around animals, I can’t imagine living my life without them! Thank you so much for the opportunity! I am pet sitting, walking, and training full time! I am unavailable Sundays and Mondays but I am extremely open and flexible otherwise! I typically prefer to walk in the mornings or late afternoon when it’s not too hot! Again, I am flexible! I am experienced in training and managing reactive dogs, large breeds/stronger dogs, as well as senior and special needs dogs. I have experience in handling emergency situations, basic canine CPR/First aid and have dealt with emergencies such as bloat, heart attack, anaphylaxis with a calm and controlled attitude; all of which contributed to the continued health of the dog!

“Elise was wonderful! Great communicator, punctual, reliable and spectacular with our Aussiedoodle Capri who is still a young pup learning how to be obedient. We appreciate Elise’s ability to accommodate our last minute request. We will definitely use her regularly.”

About: I was that kid at the family party that asks to see your pets and hangs out with them the rest of the night. I’ve grown up around cats, dogs and various other pets. I trained my family dogs from puppies, and have experience working with both small and large breeds. My family had a German Shorthair Pointer with epilepsy that started after he turned 4. To manage it, I helped administer medication every 12 hours for 8 years. I am familiar with administering oral medications. With my job currently being on summer break, I typically go on walks with my own dogs in evenings, but have time throughout the day to drop by for a visit. Every creature deserves to be treated with respect, kindness and understanding, my pets are no exception. They’re my family, and I want them to have the best care possible - good snacks, plenty of love and affection, physical and mental exercise, and consistent rules and expectations. When I watch other people’s pets, I want to ensure that they feel loved, cared for and safe - whether that looks like cuddling up and being cozy or simply keeping my distance and sharing in the same space with them while I take care of them.

If you’re looking for someone who is consistent, attentive, and genuinely cares about your dog’s well-being, I’d love to help. Feel free to reach out with any questions. I’m happy to meet and make sure it’s the right fit. Hiring a pet sitter you trust that your dog loves only to lose or see they are overbooked is annoying. I run my own business so I have a lot of availability and reliability. I currently own my own sound healing and reiki business and I make candles and oils and I work from home. I also do part time web design. I am responsible, detail oriented and I will prioritize your pets safety at all times and provide pictures and transparency. I am a great communicator and will make sure your pet feels safe & cared for.
“Sarah is super accommodating and extremely kind! She treated our puppy as her own and spoiled her with lots of snuggles. We even felt comfortable enough to extend our vacation because we knew our puppy was in the very best hands while we were away!”

“I am new to Rover and Annalie was the first dog walker I booked. She is prompt, kind, & polite. Sulu was comfortable with her right away. I will definitely book with her again when needed in the future!”

“Ivi is the absolute best! She cares for your dog, as if they are her own. That’s hard to find! She consistently would walk Koda longer just because he was having fun. She communicated every detail and sent lots of pictures. She even bought him a cooling collar for a super hot day. She’s super flexible and was available last minute. My family is relocating and I wish I could take Ivi with us. I never had to worry when I left for work because I knew Ivi would take care of my dog. Ivi was the perfect dog walker and I can’t thank her enough for taking care of my pup.”

“Laura was fantastic. She’s very quick to respond and took my dog on a very short notice. She was great with him. He was so happy to be with her and her dogs. He came home happy and healthy. Thank you so much!!!”

“Vanessa watched my Toki for me for 3 nights and she did the most amazing job! I like to keep Toki clean and she came back to me in very pristine condition. I feel so comfortable leaving Toki with Vanessa, I’ll definitely book again 🎉”

“Bernard & Hung are awesome they took great care of our puppy princess while we were on vacation. I really can't think them enough, Lana had an excellent time 🙂”

“Nikcole was responsive and was able to accommodate my short notice booking. I felt very comfortable with her and her family watching over my dog, Coco. I would use her again and recommend her to others.”

“Sara took such great care of our dog while we were away, sending us pictures and updates throughout her entire stay. She was treated like one of the family. Our dog really enjoyed her experience and we would definitely recommend Sara to everyone.”

“Our dog Blue had the best time staying with Dianiris and her family. From the get go, Dianiris responded quickly to texts and was very kind and reassuring (I might have been having a little separation anxiety of my own lol). I really appreciated all of the check-ins and photos she sent while Blue was with her too. Dianiris will definitely be our go-to sitter if we are back in the area!”

“Monique was a loving, caring, and responsible sitter for our 1.5 year-old Mini Poodle, Kiki. Monique sent us Kiki updates and photos every day... even more during the first days when we were most anxious. The photos and updates showed Kiki playing with Monique's kids, snuggling with them on the sofa, enjoying her treats, and going on walks. That reassurance was much appreciated! Monique's house is neat and clean, in a nice neighborhood, with a secured backyard, park space nearby, and lots of nearby places to walk to. Kiki came home in high spirits and weight-neutral. Overall, this is a great sitter and a great place for Kiki when we're away on vacation.”

“Ning was so responsive and provided us with constant updates about Roux’s wellbeing! I was honestly so nervous since it’s his first time boarding at someone else’s place and he also is a very nervous boy. To make it worse, he ate something bad the day before and needed medication for his diarrhea. She made sure to feed him his medicine on time. She also made sure he was comfortable and slowly introduced him to the other pups. We would definitely book with her again.”

“Richard and Arial have honestly been the best Rovers I’ve book with over the years one this site. I can not speak highly enough about them. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for kind, warm and welcoming pet sitters.”

“Enzo had no problem adjusting because there is so much warmth and love within Claudias home. She sent constant updates and seeing how happy Enzo was kinda made me insecure 😅”

“Dutch came home happy and clearly well taken care of. Pictures and updates were sent daily and Carrie was very communicative. I appreciate them for caring for Dutch and taking such good care of him.”

“Definitely a 5-star experience. Corinne was super responsive and answered all my questions that made me feel comfortable to book. I can definitely say this meet was meant to be. This was my first time leaving my pup, Chanel, with someone new - let alone a new place for several days. (She is super friendly, but since always with me, will cry if she sees me leave her.) As soon as we walked up to their home, Chanel was super curious and happy to go inside, greeting them both with such excitement. They both made me feel at ease. Their beautiful home was perfect for her - with a big bed, toys, and a nice and spacious back yard. I loved the several updates and pictures that were sent to me; it brought so much smiles to see Chanel being such a good girl, and being cared for like they did. I also loved the little report card they gave me at the end. I highly recommend Corinne and Louis, and will definitely book with them again if the opportunity allows. Thank you both so much!”

“Patricia has great communication and always replies in a timely manner. She sends a lot of pictures of your dog to let them know how they're doing and is very accommodating. I will continue to request her services as long as she's available!”
