I have been taking care of dogs since I was in elementary school and currently have one. I live in a small apartment and get to walk her around the city and usually walk her two times per day during the weekends

“Kristina is a very caring housesitter. I know that when she helps out with Frank, he will not even know we are gone as he will get to do all the stuff he always does when we are home. Thank you Kristina for providing great care for Frank and taking care of our house!”

About: I've had pets my entire life. I understand that they're a treasured member of the family. I'm also a weekly volunteer at the LA County Carson/Gardena Animal Shelter. I've received extra training on animal behavior & handling. I love giving animals whatever type of attention they need and I'm extremely patient with them. I'm equally comfortable with dogs & cats (and pretty much everything except orca whales). Overnight stays, walks, giving medication, litter boxes, feeding, you name it. Petting animals is good for our mental health, so let's meet more pets! I work full time in an office Mon-Thurs with an hour commuteon each end. While I can do overnight house sitting, I'm gone all day (12hrs) at work so not available for walks/potty breaks. I work remotely on Fridays, so lots of flexibility. I have two extremely particular kitties at home, so unfortunately I cannot offer care in my own home. But I am happy to come to yours!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since Ive been in high school! I enjoy spending time with animals and would love to get to know your fur babies more! Im currently working part-time, so I am pretty flexible with dates! Im also in school so only a few days out of my week are blocked off. However if you need last minute booking, feel free to ask! I care for the pet depending on the clients needs! I have cared for animals and knowledgeable on special needs such as medicine and vitamins.
About: Warning: You may receive an excessive amount of pet photos I care for big dogs and small, and everything in between! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve handled everything from daily walks and feeding to playtime, cuddles, and overnight care. Whether your dog is high-energy and ready to explore or more of a couch-nap professional, I make sure they get exactly the care and attention they need. I have been working remote full time for the past 5 years with a very flexible schedule. Looking to spend more time outside the home with furry friends. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, whether in my home or in a client’s home. I make sure feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest stay consistent so pets feel comfortable and secure.
About: I’ve had a small dog for a little over three years and a large dog who is currently a puppy. I’ve taken care of a lot of different breeds. I have walked and checked on my family and friends dogs for a couple of years. I am currently available every day. I choose what days I work so my schedule is flexible. I prioritize clients on Rover so I can check in on your pup multiple times a days. I encourage meeting before to ensure you and your pup are comfortable around me. Although, if you’re not available to meet beforehand it won’t be a problem.
“Ciai took such wonderful care of Bella while I was away in DC. She was incredibly responsive and kind throughout, sending thoughtful updates and making me feel completely at ease. I could tell Bella felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. I’m so grateful for Ciai’s attentiveness and the genuine love she showed Bella — I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to others!”

“Laura took great care of our two doggies! She was very communicative and I felt comfortable having her at our place. Look forward to booking with her the next time we need a pet sitter!”

“Reina was absolutely wonderful once again! She took great care of our dog and two cats during one of the worst rainstorms in LA, and ensured they felt safe all weekend. She’s great!”

“Brittany was great with my big pup. She was so accommodating and calm with her even though my pup can be a handful. And my pup enjoyed her company too! I haven’t had my pup very long so she needs some training but Brittany was happy to help her learn some commands and she was very patient. I’m not ready to leave my pup alone for very long yet, so Brittany puppy sat her while I was gone all day and pup was tired and happy when I returned. I would have Brittany watch my pup again!”

About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since my pre-teens, thanks to my parents teaching me the importance of responsibility. And it was with this responsibility, that I was able to learn the importance of reliability. My relatives have relied on me to look after and take care of their pets while away via walking them, keeping them active, maintaining their cleanliness, and prioritizing their safety. I’ve recently returned from university so my schedule is pretty flexible, ranging from 10am - 10pm on weekdays & 1pm - 10pm on weekends. I can also do nightly stays should you need someone to watch after your pet. In a client’s home I stay in a specific spot as it is what keeps pets at ease with newcomers, and once I’ve gained their trust I can become more active with them. On walks I maintain a distance from other dog walkers to prevent any altercations, while prioritizing that your pet does not get injured by any objects on sidewalks/streets.

About: I grew up with dogs in the home all my life, including an extra large lab mix of my own who lived to be 14 years old (I still miss her). I have helped friends and family teach their dogs better behavior including how to have a productive walk and eliminating food agression. I currently have 2 medium dogs (a boy and a girl) I adopted from families who couldnt care for them anymore, and two cats (both girls). I only teach on Wednesdays in Santa Monica, otherwise I have the ability to be home all day for plenty of attention and walks. I have two dogs already, so caring for animals is part of my lifestyle already. My home is spacious and located in a neighborhood which has a lot of space to walk around. I am a very alert person when it comes to dogs' behavior and their body language so that I can ensure they are comfortable, and am able to remove them from a situation that might cause them to react negatively. There is plenty of water available and dogs get let out 3-4 times a day including a nice walk.

Ginny took such phenomenal care of my kitties and my Apartment! Couldn’t ask for better! Apparently a plumbing back up happened from the neighbors upstairs and Ginny contacted me right away and stayed there to let maintenance repair it. So thankful she was there and she cleaned up everything after. My kitties are very happy and love her so much!! Thank you again Ginny and we will see you again super soon!

Elaine is wonderful with our reactive dog and he loves to have her come visit while we're away. Sometimes we think he likes her more than us! She is super communicative, prompt, and treats our house wonderfully. We would recommend Elaine to anyone looking for a good reliable rover.

Liana was fantastic with my 15 1/2 year old and 9 year old dogs. They both take medication twice a day and Bowie & Truffles warmed up to her which shows she really was beyond amazing 🤩 as Bowie does not easily bond with anyone. Constant updates and photos were a relief as I was so anxious as I don’t travel often. I felt her warmth the moment she came to visit for a meet & greet. I highly recommend Liana.
This was our first time having Kristie watch the pups and she did an amazing job! She was very communicative and asked great questions. She took the dogs for walks, fed them, and gave them tons of love. She even made sure to start the wash for the sheets and towels she used, which is sweet. We would definitely have her watch the dogs again. Thank you!

Very attentive to our senior geriatric Vizsla dogs needs. She sent us lots of photos and updates. Her calm energy made Anika able to rest despite her separation anxiety. I felt at peace too knotsge was with an experienced caring dog sitter like her. Would hire again!

Velvet is AMAZING!!! She is professional, prompt, and a joy to work with. Most of all, she took the best care of our two dogs. Velvet was especially caring for our 15 year old baby who needs extra TLC and patience. I highly recommend Velvet!!!!!!! I hope she will come back to watch our dogs and/or cats in the future.

Excellent in home kitty care. Caitlin spent nearly a week looking after our 9 year old quirky kitty babies. She was kind enough to take the time prior to my departure to come over and meet the kitties and I. From the moment I met Caitlin I could sense that she had all the right kind of calm energy that our cats require and appreciate. She was very attentive to all the little details that go into their daily routine. She sent daily updates along with photos of my furry couch potatoes living their best lives. I could see that they were content and possibly not missing me at all which is a wonderful thing. Upon my return I found the house just as clean if not cleaner as when I left. The cats happily greeted me and we immediately settled in. Overall, Caitlin is someone who has the ability and patience to pick up on your pet’s individual needs. She is a great communicator, trustworthy and kind. We’d definitely like to work with Caitlin again in the future.

David was amazing for Dudley! He took more than great care of him. Walked him several times a day, and sent us updates and pictures. David went above and beyond, & felt comfortable leaving him in our house to take care of Dudley while we were gone. Kept it clean and he is a very respectful and overall good guy! You will be happy with him and his services. We will hire him as long as he will watch Dudley!
