Turns out that’s great training for dog care too: reading personalities fast, sticking to routines, and making sure everyone (two legs or four) feels comfortable in a new environment. I’ve got a dog of my own, so I know the drill: the 6am zoomies, the separation anxiety whining, the food that “definitely doesn’t cause gas.” Whether your pup is a couch potato, a chaos gremlin, or somewhere in between, I’ll treat them like they’re already part of the household. Ten-plus years in hospitality means I’m used to following exact protocols and communicating clearly, and I apply that same discipline to pet care. Safety and consistency come first, in my home or yours. I keep a calm, predictable environment because cats do best with routine, so I stick to feeding times, litter maintenance, and any specific instructions you give me exactly as written, no improvising.

About: Most of my pets have been dogs and some of them have been older than a year or two months old, currently open to learn more. Currently looking for a part-time and love dogs. I have been taking care of dogs since I was in elementary school and currently have one. I live in a small apartment and get to walk her around the city and usually walk her two times per day during the weekends

“Ivy took a good care of our dogs for 9 days including administering insulin shots to one of our senior dogs. All of our 3 dogs warmed up to Ivy right away because of her calm demeanor, and Abi, the young GSD, even got zoomies while we were away which tells us she was very comfortable with Ivy. About: Hello pet parents ! I’ve had a lot of experiences with different dog breeds in the past from chihuahuas to Pit bulls. I currently own two Siberian huskies (1year olds), Ghost and Lady. I currently own two huskies (Ghost and Lady) that I care for daily along with walking dogs on Wag when I have the free time. I care for pests based on clients agreed upon instructions. If no instructions are given then I would treat them as I do my own, caring and patient.

He sent us videos and photos throughout his stay and always kept us updated on how Danny was doing. We’ve used serveral rover’s in the past and Nicolas is by far the most attentive and professional Rover we’ve ever had. I can’t recommend Nicolas enough, he was a 10/10 hire.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 10 years, with the last 5 years being much more regular, including several years on Rover. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including large and senior dogs, and I have experience giving medication. For drop-ins, I can handle potty breaks, feeding, medication, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention based on what your pet needs. For house sitting, I work remotely from your home during the day and stay overnight. I’ll plan my schedule around important feeding, walking, and medication times. I may leave during the day or evening for errands or plans, typically for no more than about four hours at a time. Sometimes they are guest stars in some zoom calls :) I’m big on communication. My experience includes caring for both dogs and cats between 4 months-17 years old. I am an ideal sitter for high-energy dogs who need tons of attention, long and/or frequent walks, and extra play time while their owners are away. Skilled at senior dog care, including those with complex medical needs (including injectable medication) and frequent vet visits. I also provide bathing and basic grooming for longer stays at negotiable rates. LONG-TERM PET SITTING: I am a high-energy, hands-on sitter and will give your pets lots of love and attention. If I must leave your home for any reason, I always return within two hours. I keep emergency vet services and poison control information handy—though fortunately I've never needed to use either. I keep dogs on-leash outside of the house at all times. I closely follow house rules and strive to leave spaces in the same condition I found them or better. I will refill your dog's food, water and medication if your dog needs it at that time. DOG BOARDING: If you prefer to board your dog, let's discuss long-term boarding options at my home. I live in an apartment complex with my wife, who also loves dogs. She works in-office 5 days/week and will not be involved in pet care. I have access to common yard space and live in a safe neighborhood that's ideal for daily walks. My wife is allergen sensitive, so dogs with excessive shedding or dander will not be a good fit. Rates may vary depending on your pets' specific needs. I live a short walk from the beach and will happily take your dog on a sandy adventure—no swimming allowed. I am currently available weekdays from Monday-Friday. I work part-time at a restaurant on Saturday and Sunday evenings, though my exact schedule varies and is subject to change. My work shifts are rarely longer than 8 hours. Dogs are kept on leash at all times while outside the house. I keep emergency vet services and poison control information handy, though I've fortunately never had to use either.

At one point, there was a potential that our dog had eaten a berry in our backyard she shouldn’t have and Alena was super attentive and proactive about the situation (we’d never even noticed the berries before!).
