“He's working with my dog It was traumatized by being taken from my condo to the pound. I really appreciate this dog walking service I'm hoping to get my dog to realize when it's taken out it's going to come back!! Raymond was perfect!!”

“Great experience!! Brendan was very thorough and communicative throughout the weekend. He made the extra effort to give the girls some extra walk time and a post walk meal. I will definitely be booking again!”

About: I grew up with dogs most of my life and have house sat for many friends. I’m a recent former veterinary assistant with 6 years of clinical and hospital experience. I understand dog and cat behavior and have studied under amazing veterinarians, so I feel confident I can treat your pet with the utmost care and consideration. I can give medications depending on the pet’s temperament but will do my best. :)
About: I grew up with a dog in the house, and have also become a cat mom! I am more than happy to provide your pet with love and care while you are away. No dog too big or too small for me! My schedule is fairly flexible and fluctuates so I am usually available when most people are at work, which hopefully is ideal for you! I love being outdoors and surrounding myself in nature. I would be more than happy to have your pet with me for a walk and picnic in the park.
“Jessica was great! She's super flexible & accommodating! She's very responsive when messaging. It's always so hard for us doggie parents to leave our pups, so I especially liked receiving all the pictures & details about their walk. She has a lot of experience with dogs of all ages. I was confident she could handle my senior dogs. We will book with Jessica again!”
“My 5 year old doodle has been walking with Jailene for over a week now. We decided our pup needed more midday exercise than we could provide, so Jailene swooped right in to come on time everyday: friendly, confident, professional, and no frills. My dog even looks cool walking with her! They get an uphill mile in each weekday for 30 mins and our pup comes back worked, happy, and relaxed. It's been very easy to communicate with Jailene and we trust that our dog is in good hands.”

“10/10 . Brandy was AWSOME . She acknowledged our dogs needs and actively helped them enjoy their walks with her. She’s full of respect and so much l affection for the dogs . We recommend Brandy ! Thank you :)”

“Elise was able to walk my senior pup who can sometimes be grumpy and challenging to deal with. She worked with her to befriend her and made her treats that she absolutely loves. Thanks Elise!”

“We love Shelli, and most importantly our dog has likes her. She is kind, gentle and very responsive to our needs. We will definitely have Shelli walk and housesit when needed.”

“A million thanks to Sam! Our big dog is not the easiest nor is getting in and out of our building, but everything went smoothly bc of Sam’s understanding and flexibility. We will continue to rely on him for more walks to come :-)”

“Gabby was wonderful with Lovebug. She was super sweet and Lovebug connected with her right away. They clearly had the best walk because in the pics Gabby shared Lovebug had the biggest smile. She followed instructions perfectly and made sure the walk was just right. We can’t wait to book her again!”

“Penny loved her first walk with Elaine! Elaine was very sweet with her and made sure she went on a great walk while still making time for pets and love at the house before and after. Thank you for taking such good care of Penny today!”

“Really appreciated having Giovanny being available to walk my dog Gnocchi. From the second we booked, he was communicative and clear. All note and instruction I sent, no matter how vague, he was able to make the most of. He cleaned up a little accidents that happened where he did not need to. Definitely a solid choice if anybody is in need of doggy care!”

About: I am an animal lover with over 10 years of experience providing exceptional care for pets. I have worked at a doggy daycare for over 2 years and am happiest when I get to spend the day with four legged friends. As a fellow pet owner I am well aware of how much your pet means to you. I understand the importance that they are not only taken care of while you’re away, but living their best life. When I am caring for your fur baby, my number one priority is that they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She took care of my dogs for two weeks and, as always, did such a great job. She’s watched them many times before, and I always feel comfortable knowing they’re in good hands with her. She kept me updated, sent me pictures, and always made sure they were happy and well taken care of. She’s reliable, caring, and truly awesome with my dogs. I definitely recommend her and will continue booking her! 🐶❤️

We usually do doggy daycare with Talecia, so this was our first time using her dog walking / drop in service. As expected, she's great! Clear communication, trust-worthy, great with Maisie, and always reliable and dependable. We appreciate Talecia and know that Maisie is safe with her.

Had a great first experience with Doris! She was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, asking nuanced questions that showed she truly cares about providing quality, individualized care. Her interaction was warm and genuine, and my big puppy immediately picked up on that—she felt comfortable with her right away. It’s clear she takes the time to build a real connection with the dogs she works with. I’ll definitely continue using her and highly recommend her to others!

Cannot say enough kind words about Staci. She is AMAZING. One of the few people besides myself my husband trusts our three Great Danes with (that’s right… tiny Staci HANDLED these Danes. They were excited to see her each and every time. She always provided the top level of love and care. Book her your dogs will thank you. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Alex is an absolute GODSEND. My 60 lb, recently adopted and easily excitable rescue dog requires an experienced handler. (He's not aggressive, just young, wild, and still learning the rules of interacting with humans.) Until we found her, we've struck out trying to find a good fit for someone to walk him. From the very first meeting, Alex's calm demeanor, skilled handling and complete love for dogs were obvious, and allowed her to view my dog's behaviors through an empathetic lens, which in turn allowed my dog to calm down and trust her pretty quickly. I can't say enough good things about her and I highly recommend her to anyone who has a dog with behaviors that are not perfect. She can handle your dog with skill and kindness. I'm so grateful for Alex!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
