About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and genuinely enjoy spending time with both dogs and cats. Growing up, my family had two dogs that I helped care for throughout my childhood, which taught me the importance of providing pets with love, attention, exercise, and consistent care. More recently, I’ve cared for my boyfriend’s cousin’s cats while house-sitting, including feeding them, keeping them company, and making sure they were comfortable while their owner was away. I’ve also stayed overnight to watch my neighbors’ dogs, giving them attention, playtime, and companionship in their own home. In my current role as a caregiver for a young girl with autism, I also help care for the family’s home, including cleaning the cat’s litter box each week. My caregiving experience has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and attention to detail—qualities that are just as important when caring for pets. While I may not have formal professional pet care experience yet, I take every responsibility seriously and understand how important it is to earn your trust. I will treat your pets with the same kindness, patience, and care that I would give my own. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone dependable to keep them company, my goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I currently have a flexible summer schedule with weekday mornings, evenings, and Sunday mornings available. Pet care is a priority for me, and I’ll always keep my Rover calendar updated as my graduate school schedule changes. As a caregiver, I understand the importance of individualized care. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions, respect their home, communicate openly, ask questions when needed, and always prioritize every pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being.

About: I've been caring for my dogs since I was just a child and have always felt a deep connection to animals. I used to do dog walking for some time and have volunteered in a grooming location as well. You can be certain your furry friend will receive the best care with me! I currently stay at home with my son so I have a pretty open schedule. In the afternoon we go for walks in our neighborhood so we'd love to bring your pup along on a walk with us! We have a front and backyard which are both enclosed with a gate. It's pretty spacious so we'd definitely have a good time. At the moment I don't have a pet of my own- we recently lost our girl due to age at 15 years old. She was such a sweet girl and we loved her dearly. We hope to adopt another one in the near future, but for now I'd like to take care of other babies. You can be confident that your dog will be provided with my best attention. Maintaining his or her routine, such as feeding schedules, will also be my top priority.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care, patience, and attention I give every pet. I've cared for pets much larger than myself and am comfortable handling dogs of all sizes. I have experience giving medications, following detailed care instructions, and making sure each pet's individual needs are met. I'm also experienced with reactive dogs, as well as anxious dogs and cats. I understand the importance of staying calm, reading body language, and creating a safe, low-stress environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. Communication is a priority for me, so I provide regular updates and photos to keep pet parents informed while they're away. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for, while giving owners peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in good hands. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I am fully available during the summer months (June through August), which allows me to provide flexible scheduling for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays. During the school year, I work in a school-based setting, so I am available in the evenings and most weekends. I am also fully available during school holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure every pet receives attentive, reliable care, exercise, and affection. For the comfort and safety of pets, I primarily provide care in the client’s home. This helps pets stay in their familiar environment and reduces stress, especially for dogs that may be anxious or reactive. I do live in a back house where the property owners have three small dogs, so for safety and to ensure a calm environment, I prefer not to introduce new dogs into that space. I am open to cat boarding on a case-by-case basis. I also have a strictly indoor cat in my home who is well-adjusted and calm around other animals. I am available for overnight stays and in-home care, and I always prioritize each pet’s safety, comfort, and routine while following owner instructions closely.

I currently have a Doberman-Husky mix, so I’m very familiar with caring for a high-energy, intelligent breed that needs regular exercise, structure, and plenty of attention. I also have experience raising and caring for a Husky from puppyhood through their first year. In addition, I’ve cared for a senior dog, so I understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, and following a consistent routine. I’m comfortable administering oral medications to both dogs and cats according to the owner’s or veterinarian’s instructions and always prioritize each pet’s comfort and well-being. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to following each owner’s care instructions. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or a slower pace, I’ll tailor each visit to their individual needs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I care for my own Doberman-Husky mix every day, including walks, exercise, feeding, and playtime. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so I have flexibility throughout the week to provide walks, drop-in visits, and quality care. I make it a priority to be dependable, arrive on time, and follow each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions carefully to help pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I make sure they have fresh water, plenty of exercise or playtime, affection based on their personality, and a clean space. I also pay close attention to their behavior and well-being and will keep you updated with photos and messages after each visit. My priority is to provide safe, dependable, and loving care so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and senior pets. What sets me apart is my patience, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to each animal’s unique needs and personality. I’ve helped train puppies with basic commands and potty routines, and I’m also comfortable administering medications or providing gentle care to older pets with mobility issues. I treat every pet like family and focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment whether I’m walking, feeding, or simply spending time with them. I also keep pet parents updated with regular photos and messages, so they feel reassured while away. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I make time for it every day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to care for pets in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, depending on what’s needed. Whether it's daily walks, feeding, playtime, or overnight stays, I’m able to adjust my routine to prioritize the pet’s needs. Taking care of animals is not just a task for me—it’s something I look forward to and naturally fits into my everyday life. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s. I always make sure the environment is clean, calm, and secure—no small objects or hazards around, doors and gates are checked, and routines are followed to reduce stress. I take time to learn each pet’s habits, medical needs, and personality so I can provide personalized care and maintain consistency. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow their instructions closely—feeding times, walk routines, or any specific care preferences. I also keep them updated with regular check-ins, photos, and notes to build trust and give them peace of mind. In my own home, I only take in pets I know I can safely accommodate, and I gradually introduce them to the space to make sure they feel comfortable. Whether I’m in their space or mine, I treat each pet like my own—with patience, love, and full attention.

My pets are a big highlight to my day to day life, and watching yours will be a great addition to that! I am a construction worker, my work day starts at 5am and is over the latest by 1am. I am available weekends and also weekdays for overnights, drop ins, or partial days if needed. I am open to overnights as long as my work schedule is okay with you! About: I have cared for an adult in the sunset of his life, a turtle, two dogs beyond 15 years, and currently a four year old maltipoo. The most loyal member of your family can expect my full attention. My goal is to improve their quality of life. This is full time for me. I am saving up for pilot school so I take it seriously. At the same time pets make the best cuddle buddies so expect all the playful attention needed. I earn trust by meeting pets where they are at. If it takes more than one visit to work up to wonderful walks and calm cuddles so be it. Sometimes just being there is enough. Not every pet needs or wants the same thing, but every pet will get my undivided attention.

My 5 year old doodle has been walking with Jailene for over a week now. We decided our pup needed more midday exercise than we could provide, so Jailene swooped right in to come on time everyday: friendly, confident, professional, and no frills. My dog even looks cool walking with her! They get an uphill mile in each weekday for 30 mins and our pup comes back worked, happy, and relaxed. It's been very easy to communicate with Jailene and we trust that our dog is in good hands.

Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
