About: I’m offering $15 off first time clients any service for honest reviews. I have four years experience of taking care of my own dog, Mocha. I love going on long walks, training, and just having fun with Mocha. Im offering $15 off first time clients any service for honest reviews. I’m a cybersecurity university student in Los Angeles who loves dogs and walking as exercise. I have flexible schedule as a college student so feel free to message for alternate times. I have a fenced yard and lots of shade for when Mocha gets the zoomies and just wants to run around. He is also well house trained and can alert me when he needs to be taken for a walk or needs to be let out in the yard to play. I love fitness and taking my dog on generous walks to also get my steps in.

About: My first job was as a kennel attendant at a doggy daycare from 2017 to 2019. I’ve had pets my whole life, so I know a thing or two about animal care, and I gained even more hands-on experience working with dogs in a daycare setting. I currently do not own any pets, and the photos included are from my time working at the doggy daycare, except for the one with the brown lab, which is more recent. I’m looking for pet-sitting opportunities while I’m on vacation from school and staying at home without pets. I’ve had pets my whole life and also worked as a kennel attendant, so I’m comfortable and experienced with animal care. I have a fully fenced yard, and pets will always be supervised while outside. Inside, they’re welcome to roam freely in a safe, comfortable home. I have a cell phone, so I will be able to send photos and contact the pet owner at any time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 and I have learned many skills like for them to sit and wait for their food. Pet care has fit into my daily routine by coming home from school and looking after my own pets and taking care of my homework. I care for pets in my clients home by talking to the pets and watching them by keeping them close to me but also let them have freedom to do what they please.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I understand that they're a treasured member of the family. I'm also a weekly volunteer at the LA County Carson/Gardena Animal Shelter. I've received extra training on animal behavior & handling. I love giving animals whatever type of attention they need and I'm extremely patient with them. I'm equally comfortable with dogs & cats (and pretty much everything except orca whales). Overnight stays, walks, giving medication, litter boxes, feeding, you name it. Petting animals is good for our mental health, so let's meet more pets! I work full time in an office Mon-Thurs with an hour commuteon each end. While I can do overnight house sitting, I'm gone all day (12hrs) at work so not available for walks/potty breaks. I work remotely on Fridays, so lots of flexibility. I have two extremely particular kitties at home, so unfortunately I cannot offer care in my own home. But I am happy to come to yours!

About: I am a work-from-home therapist and have two cats in the home. I am open to doing drop-in visits or house-sitting services. I have been a pet parent for over ten years. I am an avid animal advocate and have experience tending to animals with medical needs such as my own requiring medication daily. I am open to caring for senior fur babies as well as cats. I have experience working at an animal shelter, tending to their kennels and providing enrichment time. I have taken care for large dogs, medium dogs, and small dogs are my speciality. I am chronically ill so my availability is quite open outside of medical appointments I tend to and as I work from home, I can take pets out in between meetings and also keep an eye on them during work hours. I have a double door gated area, no yard but I keep an eye on my dogs whenever they outside or I am walking them. My space is one floor and open so they are free to roam. When I am able to drive I take them to the dog park. I follow through with medical instructions whenever my pets or my siblings pets need to take antibiotics of some sort. Within the property I live in, there is one large husky/german sheppard mix that will hangout in the front yard as my sister works offsite. If your dog is okay with other dogs then they are welcome to play togeher. If this would not be feasible then I am able to relocate the husky mix to the backyard of the property.

About: I believe that pet care isn’t a one-size-fits-all job. What truly sets me apart is my ability to adapt to your pet's specific energy level, personality, and life stage. Whether you have a high-energy pup or a gentle older soul, I tailor my approach so they feel safe and understood. Because I treat pet care as a dedicated profession rather than a casual hobby, my daily and weekly routines are fully structured around the pets in my care. I deliberately organize my days to ensure consistency, punctuality, and plenty of quality time for every animal. If your dog thrives on routine or needs their own space to decompress, I can easily crate them for meals, naps, or bedtime. I adapt entirely to whatever routine they are used to at home.

I’m responsible, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like they’re my own. About: I have always had a love and passion for animals, especially cats and dogs. I don't think I have ever come across a furry friend who I did not like and want to cuddle. I have taken care of some dogs into their senior years and through their rainbow bridge crossing, and will always strive to do what is best for any pet. I am currently in nursing school and am typically free most days after 12PM except on Wednesdays. So please feel free to reach out to me and let's try to schedule a time that works best for you, your pet, and myself! I treat my pets as my own children. I routinely check them for any bumps or lumps anytime I am petting them, I also make sure to see if there are any signs of stress that I can alleviate by changing something about their environment. When it comes to your pet, I will treat them just like you and I hope to make your fur baby feel like you never left the house.

About: Hi! I'm someone who truly enjoys caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. I would describe myself as patient, gentle, and very attentive to detail. I understand that pets aren't just animals - they're family — and I treat them that way. I've had hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. One of the most meaningful experiences I've had was assisting my family dog during her pregnancy and being present when she gave birth. I cared for the newborn puppies myself — making sure they were warm, monitored, fed, and safe during those critical early weeks. That experience taught me responsibility, patience, and how to stay calm in important moments. During my time in college, I also cared for a cat while balancing a full academic schedule and athletic commitments. Managing both taught me adaptability, time management, and consistency. No matter how busy life was, I always made sure the cat was fed, comfortable, and given attention daily. I'm adaptable, reliable, and very mindful of each pet's individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or shy and relaxed, I take the time to understand their personality and make them feel comfortable. Your pet's safety, happiness, and routine are my priority. I currently don’t have a job right now because I am training for the NFL!! So I have a pretty open schedule after 12 pm!! I understand how important trust is when choosing someone to care for your pet. When you leave your pet with me, you can feel confident knowing they will be treated with patience, gentleness, and close attention. I take responsibility seriously and always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication. If your pet stays in my home, they will be in a clean, calm, and structured environment. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide regular walks and playtime, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure. I pay attention to their behavior and adjust to their energy level, whether they need active engagement or quiet time. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, I respect your space and your pet's routine. I stick closely to your instructions, maintain their normal schedule, and make sure they feel as relaxed as possible in their familiar environment. I also provide updates so you always know how your pet is doing My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and happy while you're away.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
