About: I’ve taken care of my babies since 2009 when they were pups up until they were seniors(16 yrs of age). -I’ve had experience raising a cockapoo and a chihuahua and am currently raising a terrier, and a pug 💖 -I’ve taken care of my friends pitbull and cat multiple times while they were away on vacation What does that entail? -cleaning up after your fur babies so that when you come home, there are no messes that you have to worry about 😊 -spending time with each pet individually! Playtime for everyone! 🤗 -taking your dog out on frequent walks or if during hot days, taking them to areas where there is shade and cool areas or waiting until sun is down and it is safe for them to walk outside.🐕‍🦺🐾 -if medication is needed, setting reminders for their scheduled medication and staying close so that they are not left alone after given medication💊 ❤️‍🩹 -updates with pictures so that you are up to date on what is currently happening with your fur baby 📸🐶✨ - feeding them the appropriate amount of food when scheduled and checking on water levels💦 -monitoring them to make sure they are close by and are out of harms way 🕵️‍♀️ I am currently focusing on school so I have a lot more flexibility to meet with your pets in the morning or at night. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually my days dedicated to schoolwork but other than that, I am available any other time of the week! Before stepping outside, I like to make sure that the leash is strapped on to the pets well and wrapped around my hand securely before walking out. I like to ask if your pet likes to run outside sometimes so that I can be more cautious and exiting and entering. I will never bring something that your dog is not allowed to have around for safety reasons like chocolate for example. When playing, I will check to make sure that the item is the appropriate size to play with so that there are no choking hazards. I will honor your pets space while also monitoring them to make sure they are not in harms way. If there are fences I will double check to make sure they are securely closed. When your pets are eating, I will stay around to make sure that everything is ingested properly. When going outside, I will make sure that we avoid any situations that may be potentially dangerous and steer clear of any trouble. I will keep you updated on any suspicious behavior or anything that I may find concerning with your pet. I’m pretty big on communication, so I will try to give you as many details as I could about the visit so much so that you will feel like you were there! It’s important that you know that your baby is in good hands!

I have experience using force free, and balanced training. My goal is to provide safe, structured and compassionate care for every pet. For house sitting and drop ins my availability will be Tuesday- Friday 9 A.m-2:30p, and on Sundays and Mondays I'm available 9 A.m- 5 P.m. For hosting a dogs, because I’m currently working on making pet care a full time career through Rover my availability is up to whatever you need. This includes Toys, leashes, beds/cots, treats/kibble/food, any tools such as prong collars or e-collars if needed (this depends on clients needs/preferences), enrichment puzzles, cleaning supplies and medications for puppies and seniors. The agenda for the day will be structured around the clients and the dogs needs. A walk, training, or simply some companionship while your away. I'm flexible with what you desire and what your dog needs. I’m home most of the day besides stepping out for personal errands or appointments, so rest assured you companion will want for not.

About: I've been around animals since I was a kid. I've taken care of lots of different animals besides just dogs. Soke of my favorites were reptiles and occasionally birds and farm animals. Your pets are safe with me. If there's ever anything I don't know about them I'll do research and ask you questions about it. I want to make sure your pets are safe and happy while I'm around them. I'm disabled and don't really have a job at the moment so I'm available to care for your pets whenever! So long as someone didn't already book me I'm all yours! When it comes to caring for someone else's loved animal I take everything into consideration. If they have dietary restrictions or any medical conditions I'll make sure their needs are met. Whatever rules you have I'll make sure to follow them to the letter. You know more than I do about what's best for you babies

About: I am a work-from-home therapist and have two cats in the home. I am open to doing drop-in visits or house-sitting services. I have been a pet parent for over ten years. I am an avid animal advocate and have experience tending to animals with medical needs such as my own requiring medication daily. I am open to caring for senior fur babies as well as cats. I have experience working at an animal shelter, tending to their kennels and providing enrichment time. I have taken care for large dogs, medium dogs, and small dogs are my speciality. I am chronically ill so my availability is quite open outside of medical appointments I tend to and as I work from home, I can take pets out in between meetings and also keep an eye on them during work hours. I have a double door gated area, no yard but I keep an eye on my dogs whenever they outside or I am walking them. My space is one floor and open so they are free to roam. When I am able to drive I take them to the dog park. I follow through with medical instructions whenever my pets or my siblings pets need to take antibiotics of some sort. Within the property I live in, there is one large husky/german sheppard mix that will hangout in the front yard as my sister works offsite. If your dog is okay with other dogs then they are welcome to play togeher. If this would not be feasible then I am able to relocate the husky mix to the backyard of the property.

Michelle is heaven-sent to us! She walks our dog, Cali, 3x a week and Cali always looks forward to his walk with her. During the past Christmas holiday, Cali stayed with her and she took care of him just like her own fur babies. Michelle is very reliable, trustworthy, and constantly updates us by sending pictures consistently, communicates clearly and kindly. If I could rate her more than 5 stars, I would! She gives us peace of mind, knowing Cali is in good hands. Thank you so much, Michelle!

About: I have always had a love and passion for animals, especially cats and dogs. I don't think I have ever come across a furry friend who I did not like and want to cuddle. I have taken care of some dogs into their senior years and through their rainbow bridge crossing, and will always strive to do what is best for any pet. I am currently in nursing school and am typically free most days after 12PM except on Wednesdays. So please feel free to reach out to me and let's try to schedule a time that works best for you, your pet, and myself! I treat my pets as my own children. I routinely check them for any bumps or lumps anytime I am petting them, I also make sure to see if there are any signs of stress that I can alleviate by changing something about their environment. When it comes to your pet, I will treat them just like you and I hope to make your fur baby feel like you never left the house.

About: Hi, I’m Karen! 🐾 I’ve always been an animal person, and caring for pets is something I genuinely love. I currently run a pet essentials business focused on helping pet parents find products for their animals, so pet care is something that is truly part of my everyday life. I’ve personally cared for dogs, cats, and rabbits, and I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, preferences, and quirks. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away while also giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands. When I care for your pet, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cuddles, and any special instructions you provide. I’m attentive to their behavior and surroundings and make sure they receive plenty of interaction and companionship rather than simply being left on their own. For dogs, I’m happy to incorporate walks, playtime, enrichment, and whatever activities they enjoy most. For cats, I love spending time with them, playing with their favorite toys, and giving them attention while also respecting their space when they want some alone time. I currently offer overnight sitting in your home, where I’m respectful of your space and treat your home with the same care and consideration I would want for my own. Before each stay or visit, I’m happy to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, favorite activities, and anything else that will help me care for them properly. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable knowing that your pets are not just being “watched” they’re being genuinely cared for. 🐶🐱🐰💕 Pet care is something that naturally fits into my lifestyle. I currently run a pet essentials business, so animals and their care are already a big part of my day to day life. I’m comfortable structuring my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for and making sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, meals, playtime, and companionship according to their normal routine. I’m also very communicative and easy to reach, so I’ll keep you updated and make sure you feel informed and comfortable while you’re away. 🐾 I currently offer overnight pet sitting in the client’s home. I understand that staying in their familiar environment can be much less stressful for pets, so I do my best to maintain their normal routine and surroundings. I follow the instructions you provide for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, bedtime, and any other care your pet needs. I’m attentive to their behavior and make sure they receive regular interaction and companionship throughout the day. I’m also respectful of your home and your routines while I’m there. My goal is for your pets to feel safe and comfortable and for you to have peace of mind knowing they’re being well cared for while you’re away.

About: I believe that pet care isn’t a one-size-fits-all job. What truly sets me apart is my ability to adapt to your pet's specific energy level, personality, and life stage. Whether you have a high-energy pup or a gentle older soul, I tailor my approach so they feel safe and understood. Because I treat pet care as a dedicated profession rather than a casual hobby, my daily and weekly routines are fully structured around the pets in my care. I deliberately organize my days to ensure consistency, punctuality, and plenty of quality time for every animal. If your dog thrives on routine or needs their own space to decompress, I can easily crate them for meals, naps, or bedtime. I adapt entirely to whatever routine they are used to at home.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
