“Raevyn was amazing with our senior dog while we went on 10 day vacation. She was timely and respectful, and always provided updates. Apple is not very friendly with strangers right away but with her she was immediately calm. Apple had a good time and we had a worry free vacation. We will definitely use her as our sitter in the future.”

“It was my first time using Rover since I don't have family or friends to help with pet sitting. Claudia was amazing. She got to meet my dog before the stay and my anxious and sometime mistrustful dog loved her. During the stay she did an amazing job and sent cute pictures and responded promptly! She's the best!”

“Esmeralda was amazing!! Would absolutely book her again. She took care of our sweet and wild Andy (even tracking down his GPS tracker when he inexplicably lost it!) and I could tell he was super well cared for while we were away. She was also an awesome guest in our home. 15/10 stars”

About: I am an educator and musician who loves animals and enjoys spending time outdoors. I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a child. As an animal lover and cat owner myself, I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Whether it’s a dog walk, a drop-in visit, feeding, playtime, or simply providing companionship while you’re away, I take pride in treating every pet with kindness, patience, and attention. I understand that pets are cherished members of the family, and I strive to provide the same level of care and affection that I would want for my own pet. My professional background has taught me the importance of reliability, genuine care, communication, and attention to detail—qualities I bring to every pet care visit. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work part-time, which gives me the flexibility to arrange my schedule around my clients’ needs and provide dependable care for their pets. The safety and well-being of your pets is always my top priority. I treat every dog and cat as if they were my own and take care to follow each pet’s routine, instructions, and personality needs closely. During dog walks, I use secure leash handling at all times and remain alert to surroundings, other animals, and potential hazards. I avoid unsafe interactions with unfamiliar dogs and always prioritize calm, controlled, and positive experiences for your pet. For cat sitting and drop-in visits, I ensure doors and windows are securely closed, litter boxes are cleaned properly, food and water are refreshed, and your cat is comfortable and stress-free. I also take time to provide companionship and gentle interaction based on each cat’s comfort level. I am reliable, punctual, and communicative, and I provide updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. In case of any emergency, I will contact you immediately and follow any instructions you provide, including reaching out to your preferred veterinarian if needed. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, cared for, and genuinely looked after while you are away.
“Daylin was amazing with my Jack Russel 🐶, Jack. She sat him for 2 weeks while I was away on vacation and she provided daily updates and made sure he was always well fed and happy. I highly recommend, she is trustworthy and professional.”
About: My first job was as a kennel attendant at a doggy daycare from 2017 to 2019. I’ve had pets my whole life, so I know a thing or two about animal care, and I gained even more hands-on experience working with dogs in a daycare setting. I currently do not own any pets, and the photos included are from my time working at the doggy daycare, except for the one with the brown lab, which is more recent. I’m looking for pet-sitting opportunities while I’m on vacation from school and staying at home without pets. I’ve had pets my whole life and also worked as a kennel attendant, so I’m comfortable and experienced with animal care. I have a fully fenced yard, and pets will always be supervised while outside. Inside, they’re welcome to roam freely in a safe, comfortable home. I have a cell phone, so I will be able to send photos and contact the pet owner at any time.
About: I've been a cat lady my entire life. Until finding a litter of month old puppies in a Weinerschnitzel parking lot late one stormy night almost 3 years ago. I've long been involved in cat rescue, and thought "I can foster puppies." I failed catastrophically at that. 😂🐈⬛🐕🐕🐛🦋💗 ChiliDog and SmallFry are the joy of my life. Sisters and best friends, they're a pair of wild rambunctious Siberian Huskies, each with their own unique personalities, and lots of energy to burn. We go to the dog park almost every single day to run a few miles, with an entire pack of their closest friends of course. I've been a pet sitter for over 8 years now. I worked for Prefurred Pet Care from November of 2017 - until the business closed in the summer of 2025. I've worked for Bark City Sitting since July of 2024 - present. I have lots of experience with many different breeds and personalities. I know how intelligent dogs are and treat them with the respect they deserve. I also have experience with medicating dogs. I look forward to meeting your furbabies and getting to know the charming quirks that make them special. I have 35 years of cat care experience. I'm a bit of a cat whisperer. I'm skilled at befriending the shy timid kitties. I also have experience with some exotic pet care, like raising Monarch butterflies and Praying Mantises. Thank you for considering me to help meet your pets needs. I'm looking forward to making new furry friends. I've been a full time petsitter for 8 years now. I'm looking to grow my clientele again, after the company I was working for closed. I'm also an artist. So my schedule is mostly free and flexible, other than the occasional art shows. I'm available for walks or drop in visits most days from 10am to 10pm. I understand that trusting a stranger in your home is a scary decision. I struggled with that myself the first time I ever hired a pet sitter for my kids. Please know that I will treat your home, and your furbabies with the utmost respect. I do like to arrange a meet & greet with any dogs before our scheduled visit, for both mine and your safety. Everyone should feel comfortable with the dynamic before we proceed.
“Laura took great care of our two doggies! She was very communicative and I felt comfortable having her at our place. Look forward to booking with her the next time we need a pet sitter!”

“Lupe was a pleasure! She took great care of our cat Olive and our house. Lupe sent us tons of photos and communicated clearly and quickly. We will definitely be booking with Lupe again!”

“Ben was really great with our two energetic doodles. He sent videos at least once a day and was patient and confident in handling our blind 2 year old pup. And our place looked great when we got home which we really appreciated. We will definitely have Ben back and highly recommend him to others looking for a reliable and experienced pet sitter.”

“Andrew was great! He stayed with our Violet overnight and kept her fed and walked. She is typically a nervous pup so I was worried about leaving her with someone, but she seemed happy and content when we returned. Our internet went out the whole time Andrew was here, and he was very easygoing about it. We would definitely have him back!”

East Rancho Dominguez pet parents share their Rover experiences
Absolutely wonderful experience! Andrea was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced with dogs. I felt really comfortable leaving my pup in her care, and it was obvious my dog was well looked after and happy. Communication was great throughout, and I really appreciated how attentive and caring she was. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!

Lorretta was great! We needed a sitter last-minute do to our previous sitter being unavailable. Lorretta lived nearby, so she was able to visit on a consistent schedule and give our dog and cat a sense of normalcy while we were gone. Good communicator and good picture/video taker!

Moriah is AMAZING. We’ve been wanting to go on overnight trips but haven’t since one of our little guys has quite an involved medical routine. We have been so worried we wouldn’t find anyone that would be patient or communicative enough to learn his ways. Moriah turned that thought around *completely* and went above and beyond! Moriah was so attentive to our boys’ routine, asked the right questions, gave us the best updates with pics, and honestly the boys fell even more in love with their buddy! We’re so grateful to Moriah for helping our family, so in Moriah we Trust! :)
