I started walking my neighbor's dogs at an early age just for fun and found it very personally rewarding. I would also babysit their dogs after school. Over the years I've gained more experience working with animals in a professional establishment and now I’m a certified pet care specialist. I have skills administering oral medication and first aid. I'm very familiar with communicating with dogs and understanding their languages, ranging from when they gotta go potty to determining any signs of illness. I have experience working with special needs or recovering animals, too. I speak fluent Spanish. I'm also the dad to a male golden retriever named Paxton. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pups! We will eat, sleep and play! I prefer to do this full-time, so I only work once a week at Petsmart in the mornings. There I also work with dogs and small animals as well, which has given me even more experience. I have a balcony w/ a doggy door and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.

Allen did a great job with my fur baby. It was my first time using him and I think they became buddies for life. I will definitely use him again.
Allen is a friendly and enthusiastic person. His personality meshes perfectly with our high energy boxer! It was our first time using Rover, and Allen did a great job helping us understand what to expect throughout the walk and how to prepare for it as well. We felt our pup was in good hands and will reach out to Allen for services in the future.
This was my first time using Rover and Allen made the experience seamless. Allen stayed in contact and sent lots of pictures. He took very good care of my fur babies and I will definitely be using Allen again in the future. Allen treated my home as it was his own and even cleaned up before he left. Thanks again Allen!
Allen was great walking Einsteins and taking him to the park to play. He sent a video not long after they made it to the park and Einstein got a great 45 minute work out.
Allen took terrific care of our boys (Alfie, 10 mo. old Great Pyrenees/cattle dog mix and Frankie, 16 year-old cat). They were happy and healthy during our trip.
It was my first time using Rover, and I was hesitant to leave my fur baby with a stranger. But Allen made those worries go away. He was very communicative and constantly sent pictures and videos of my fur baby to let me know he was doing great! When I picked up my Ziggy, I could tell Ziggy had fun staying with Allen! He didn’t quickly bolt and would return to let Allen pet him and say goodbye. Allen would be the person I would trust to take care of my Ziggy again! And I highly recommend him if it’s your first time using Rover or if you're looking for someone to care for your fur baby! Thank you again, Allen!

Schedule
I love doing what I do here which is why I’ve primarily made this my full-time job. I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekdays ANYTIME. I can also do house sitting, dog walking, day care or simply drop by your home to play with your pets and offer food and attention. I’m well known for consistently sending pictures/videos and being highly responsive (refer to my reviews).

Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment with hardwood floors and have astroturf in my balcony that my dog uses for potty breaks and that your dog can use as well! I’ve also trained dogs how to use our doggy door in some of my previous stays. In your home, my motto at the end is to leave everything in the same condition, if not better than how I found it. I fill your shoes and take over duties and responsibilities for your pet and your home.

A typical day
I love to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. We’ll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in the neighborhood, and explore a big park near the house.
