5. Heather T.
“Heather is a genuine and kind soul who adores animals and pets. It is a major plus that she is a pet owner herself, and has years of expertise in nurturing and caring for pets. I knew right away I made the right choice in hiring Heather as my sitter when my usually stubborn Husky embraced her during the first meet. For a dog who typically doesn’t really care for strangers, I guess he could sense her kind spirit and felt comfortable! I would recommend Heather to anyone looking for a compassionate sitter who takes direction well, and caters to the needs of the pet. Thank you so much Heather, you’re the best!”

“Karina is a very friendly and loving person especially with animals. She wants to make a career out of working with animals which has led her to volunteering at animal shelters taking care of dogs there and other small pets. She’s currently attending university where she is working on furthering her career with animals. Karina will make a great dog caregiver if given the opportunity with Rover. Her passion for working with animals is difficult to match.”

About: I loved animals my whole entire life I basically grow up in a backyard zoo lol with dogs , tortoises, chameleons, iguanas, bunnies, parrots, and ducks. I enjoy taking dogs on walks running with them and just having fun. I am a full time college student trying to make money first time job i heard many good things about rover and so I felt like it would be a good idea to try it out for a first time making some side money by walking dogs and playing with them. How I care for my pets at home is by making sure that they are okay if they have food or water taking them showers messing around with them until they tired themselves out

About: I’ve taken care of dogs as early as the age of 10. I grew up in my bestfriend’s home who owned 15+ Yorkshire terriers because her mom use to breed and showcase their dogs. I was taught the basics as a kid to care for an animal such as feeding, bathing, cleaning up after, and occasionally grooming. As soon as I turned 18, I finally made the decision to have dogs of my own because I wasn’t allowed to have a pet (besides a fish) due to financial and household conditions. Due to the way I grew up with dogs, I grew an attachment to caring for all kinds of animals which led to my dream of becoming a veterinarian. As I got older, I decided that becoming a veterinary technician is where I felt the most comfortable. I am not a veterinary technician just yet as I am looking forward to taking my VTNE, which is a national exam to become certified and begin my career. I already have clinic experience as it was required when I attended trade school between Jan 2020-June 2021 and I have personal experience from raising my 3 year old beagle and 2 year old Doberman. Pet care fits wherever it’s needed in my schedule as I am currently unemployed even though I still make a small income from instacart but that job is also flexible where I am able to work as I please. I would love to offer the service of caring pets in my own home but unfortunately it is not my home to make that decision. What I am available for is caring for pets at a clients home where I will follow all the directions that client’s provide me with. Of course the pet will require their feeding and bathroom breaks as needed. Mental stimulation and physical activity is very much necessary, optional but necessary especially if the client has a working dog breed. Working breed or not, every pet deserves attention and to be played with, it’s also a very good first step when being introduced to a client’s pet for the first time to develop trust over time.
20. Jasmine H.
“I have a beautiful dog named Zoe. She has separation anxiety so when we went on a family holiday for a few days we wanted to make sure she was home instead of somewhere unfamiliar. When we contacted Jasmine she was more than happy to watch over the house and even left it cleaner than before! Went as far as cleaning the mirrors! Best money I spent in a while.”
